Embrace the Thought

I appreciate his enthusiam however, the Renaissance took place between the 14th & 17th centuries. That is quite a long time. Point is, we don't have that much time to bring this mess we are in around. The state of decay and misery is in various stages throughout the world. The hand of oppression is pressing down harder every single day.

A world overpopulated, corrupt, and sinful....it is going to take some time just to emerge from the eventual wreckage. But, to gladden the hearts of what can be, I embrace the thought.

The Great Depreciation -
The Selling Of America
By Gerald Celente
2-13-8 RHINEBECK,  -- The United States of America is up for sale, and the Federal Reserve keeps lowering the selling price. On January 22nd, with the global financial markets in meltdown, the Federal Reserve again bowed to Wall Street's demands for cheaper money by slashing short-term interest rates 75 basis points the biggest one-day rate drop in Fed banking history. Pressured by credit squeezed banks, brokerages, buyout firms, faltering bond guarantors and assorted deal makers wanting deeper cuts and cheaper cash the Fed dropped rates another 50 basis points eight days later. The equation is simple, the formula is proven and the outcome is predictable: The deeper the Fed cuts rates, the cheaper it is to borrow money. The cheaper it is to borrow money, the less the dollar is worth against stronger foreign currencies. The less the dollar is worth, the less it costs holders of stronger currencies to buy up America. And that's just what they're doing. Strong currency nations are buying up America like a third world country. (See "Top Trends 2008," Trends Journal, Winter 2008.)Already holding trillions of greenbacks in reserve and getting billions more each day from the USA which imports most of what it needs from other nations foreigners flush with cash will accelerate the pace of acquiring American assets at bargain basement prices. Indeed, even before the latest Fed rate-cut frenzy, last year, with the dollar down double digits against key currencies, foreign interests bought into or bought out nearly a half-trillion dollars worth of American banks, brokerages, factories, properties and prized possessions.Up 90 percent from 2006 and more than double the average of the last decade, the "Buying of America" trend is seen as an encouraging sign of economic vitality by Washington and applauded as beneficial by beleaguered financial firms scouring the globe begging for bailouts. For example, once a staunch critic of Arab owned entities controlling vital US interests, New York Senator Charles Schumer applauded the recent $6.6 billion infusion of foreign cash into Merrill Lynch saying it " strengthens our economy and creates jobs.""This is a vote of confidence in the American economy, the American marketplace and the American worker," echoed deputy US Treasury Secretary, Robert Kimmitt, along with the steady chorus of pundits and professionals featured in the business press praising foreign ownership of US assets. As for the general public even as wages shrink, living costs increase and debt burdens grow there is little understanding of how cheap dollars deteriorate their living standards or how foreign ownership will affect their future.Trendpost: The Trends Research Institute does not provide financial advice we forecast trends. We forecast that despite periodic corrections, the US dollar will continue its downward slide, and that the weak dollar = strong gold trend will push gold to $2,000 per ounce. We are in transit of both processes happening as one.

True. Perhaps an upward spiral is more accurate

This Celente is all good, But

little did he know... highly romanticized. There was an ugly under -belly to the Renaissance...totally like the times we live in today...

About a year later, after Celente made this video, he and many others got the dark-side, ugly treatment from the Renaissance via Corzine-IMF Global: a $1M" haircut. Why? Same as today...For greed, power, corruption (above the law), continuous wars — between the Vatican, and the city-states: the Florentine de Midicis, the Spanish 'Catholic' Borgias (in those days, all of Italy was damn near the center of all trade between the west/east.), the Milano/Tuscan Pazzis, Sforzas, and not the least of all, the Catholic
"French" who just wanted Naples, the largest chunk of the center. Not to mention Machiavelli's seminal, ground breaking, "The Prince", modeled after Cosimo...

It's OK, tho. da Vinci is still my favorite painter/geek. Even today.

After all these years, Celente, I still look for and recognize beauty, still. After all, I did get to live in the times of 'Wonderful World' Satchmo.)

I think I ike renaissance over revolution

Positive messaging. Totally a way to go.

South is the new way up! Major trend for 2014: Latin America. Start checking out South American investment, it's part of our future now.

Steps

Even if fewer steps, shorter steps, are made in the wrong direction, relatively speaking, that begins the turn from bad to good.

Legal Criminals, high paid liars, setting their own rate of pay, demanding payment, and crushing anyone daring to question those payments, work toward absolute slavery of everyone, including themselves. That is bad.

Don't question it?

Don't realize how bad it is, for that would be a case of questioning it.

What is it?

It can be moved out of POWER.

One step at a time.

1.
End The FED
2.
End the IRS
3.
Bring the Troops Home (Gerald Celente example works for me)
4.
Do so by July 4th, 2014, start now, finish early.

The power of the spoken word

What a great find!

We underestimate -- even forget -- the power of speaking that which is not, into existence.

Some people call it "bringing forth, bringing forth".

The Bible talks about "...and the Word became flesh", "Let there be light" and "I am that I am".

The power of speaking things into existence.
