House Rejects Amash's NSA Amendment 205-217 - Massie Amendment to Stop Aid to Egypt Passes.

It was pretty surreal. Several members were, for the moment, sounding like Ron Paul.

Boner and Pelosi together on this.

Boner is a RAT.

So is that POS Peter King.

My email to my congress critter

Your No vote on Amash's NSA Amendment will make a good campaign sign: Vicky Hartzler votes it OK for US govt to spy on you. Again Vicky Hartzler has not kept her oath of office to support and defend the Constitution. Vicky Hartzler Has shown she does not respect her employer, the people of the district. Vicky Hartzler shows that she is serving the US governments interest and not the interest of the people.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Ben Franklin's Contributions to the Conference on February 17 (III) Fri, Feb 17, 1775

You can probably place a bet

You can probably place a bet that most, if not all, of these same people voted on the bill to protect Monsanto from any lawsuit as well. From my recollection he can now do what ever he wants here, poison away and there is no law that can stop him. Our congress actually let this go through the system.

So they are poisening us, lying to us, murdering us and spying on us. Soon they will pass the immigration bill and take our jobs or decrease our pay, we will all be sick from the food we eat and Obamacare will decide who they save and who they don't. Or no, the IRS will decide, so you better be a democrat.

they are all on the same team, except for a very small few.
All you can do is pray.

*sigh*

Congressman Ruppersberger,

I was very sorry to see that yesterday, you voted 'no' for the bi-partisan sponsored bill HR-2397.

Seven votes made the difference. Your vote, which is supposed to represent my vote, could have made a difference.

It was plainly obvious yesterday - as this was clearly a divided issue across both major parties - that there are two camps in the house : those that follow the urging of their constituents, and those that follow the urging of the executive branch. Yesterday you proved to me that you are on the wrong side of that line.

You sir, are supposed to be part of the checks and balances that protect the rights of citizens like myself. Yesterday, I feel that you failed me.

In the 2014 elections, you will not only lose my vote, but whomever chooses to oppose you, will receive a $250 donation to help them with that goal.

I'll send you a photocopy of the check, so even if you happen to win re-election, you can be reminded of whom you are supposed to be representing.

Thanks

If you are the one who added that link, above. Everyone please go follow Justin Amash on twitter/facebook and a big thanks to DefundTheNSA.com!

This was really his big moment to shine!

*Remind yourselves, without all of your hard work supporting Ron Paul (and Ron Paul's hard work and years of service), these actions to curtail NSA spying or question drones would be nonexistent.

I added one,

someone else added that one.

Do the math

What percent of the 217 were bought, what percent were blackmailed?

Can't trust the validity of ANY vote in a total surveillance state!

It sickens me me that Tom

It sickens me me that Tom Cotton comes from my state but then again so does Womack and Crawford. They're all either being paid off, being blackmailed or just willfully ignorant but regardless none of them should be in office.

What are the chances

What are the chances that the electronic voting was flipped?

How sad is that?

How sad is that? Now the American people has to push and struggle desperately to try pass acts to reduce the plunder, spying, and control that their Federal government subject them to by default...

We gonna soon be able to rename this country as "U.N./D.C. Ultimate".

Thank you, Daddy/Boss/King/Emperor ObaMARX, thank you, Kongress, thank you, Sen(ile)ate...

In 2014 we change the House

In 2014 we change the House to D and the Senate to R. Hopefully Pelosi will be dead of old age by then or lose her primary.

I don't know why I even call

I don't know why I even call young (in) anymore.

Yup

never had any doubt about my rep. Not since he was selected as Mitt Romney's running mate

Séamusín

Very sad.

Just thanked my Congressman for joining with the Stasi Elite.

I'll take my Liberty, it's not yours to give.

It's a shame about the NSA vote - Shows that more than half...

...the house is misguided.

And altho ending aid to Egypt is great, it won;t pass in the Senate because there are too many lying thieves in the Senate.

I'd bet "Bought Off" long before

"Misguided".

I hope this is a wake up call

I hope this is a wake up call to those who think elections don't matter. If we had just 7 more liberty candidates in Congress, this amendment would have been a reality. I'm encouraged that the Egypt amendment did pass. Thanks to the people actually did vote, we're starting to see real political change.

Intel. Committee

Looks like that secret meeting worked. The whole House Intelligence Committee voted against. Guess it's time to vote them out.

I don't comment here much

but I look at this as a win. It means we only have 12 members of the house's minds to change. That sounds a lot easier then the usual amount. I have to admit though I am an optimist.
