I think that was friends of his that were there to

laugh for him. It's not uncommon, especially for a new guy, to have his friends show up and be supportive. I think they took their rolls a little to seriously there.

I am actually surprised there aren't more "Liberty" comedians. A lot of comedy is simply pointing out the absurdities of society, and who recognizes them more than libertarians.

Actually as I wrote that I remembered why there aren't more. Because Main Stream channels that cover and promote comedians weed out the ones who threaten their establishment. Rahm Emanuel's brother is the inspiration for the character Ari Gold on the show entourage, for example.
