Man Brings Best Buddy Home For Dinner..

Man Brings Best Buddy Home For Dinner..

A man brings his best buddy home for dinner unannounced. The time was around 5:30 and it was after work.

His wife screams at him as his friend listens in.

"My hair & makeup are not done, the house is a mess, the dishes are not done...

I'm still in my pajamas and I can't be bothered with cooking tonight! Why the hell did you bring him home for?”

"Because he's thinking about getting married...."

Good one.

Wife LOL'd at this one.

All Of You Remember One Thing:

When you doubt what you know is right in your heart, you screw everything up.

Who was the first person who doubted what he intuitively knew was right?

Adam did. Adam the first man doubted God, believed the lie from the evil one through the voice of the woman.

It wasn't the woman, it was the thing that spoke through the woman.

Men and woman must not doubt the unspoken or wordless word reveals.

When you doubt yourself or the spirit living inside each and everyone of you - That is called SIN..

Because of Adam's doubt he sinned and then, what did he do, he made an excuse for his doubt or sin.

Don't we all make excuses for our sins?

God may have forgiven Adam if he didn't make an excuse for the sin. But he didn't and the rest is history. We now have a sin nature we must overcome. Practice NOT making excuses. For those living in a sin state it is virtually impossible to avoid making excuses..

Quit doubting yourselves and you will go through life much better even though you will be tested by those that have no understanding or love for the truth.

Now, Go in peace and live a good life..

I agree with Nolongerperplexed below

For the most part. I married the wrong person first. Long story short, I was told by my doctor (after having surgery) at 18 years old that if I didn't get pregnant in the next 6-12 months I'd never have children, so I married the guy I had been dating for 2 years - even though I had doubts - because I thought (based on the doctors advice), that it must be meant to be. It was the most miserable 2.5 years of my life.

We divorced, and almost 1 year after I left him I married the man I dated before him... we had threatened to run away and get married at 16 because we lived so far from each other and our parents wouldn't let us see each other very much... they pressured us to break up because we were "too young to be so serious" and were eventually successful in their efforts.

We've been married over 11 years now and couldn't be happier. He adopted my oldest daughter from my first marriage, and we have had 3 more girls.

All that being said... he would never bring someone home for dinner unannounced. Ever. But the joke is still funny. :)

Ron Paul convert from the Heart of Dixie

Marrying the right person is half of a successful life

You can't mess up more than half of it if you just make that one right decision. And as these jokes imply, marrying the WRONG person can be a disaster. I waited to get married and finally found someone I could TRUST and who was COMPATIBLE with me. Character has to come first. Marry a "good girl" who does not try to lead with what should follow, if you get my meaning.

So I know our culture is down on marriage these days, but what I am saying is that doing it RIGHT it will be a constant source of comfort and joy for you.

PS- With the right match I find you won't do it LESS after kids, but you will have to do it more QUICKLY!

Localism is for people who can still sleep at night even though somebody they don't know in a city they have never been is doing things differently. ("Localism, A Philosophy of Government" on Amazon for Kindle or Barnes and Noble ebook websites)

I have Two Nieces

That wanted a dog. My daughter-in-law finally gave in to please Her Girls, then promptly had the dog's balls cut off.

How to tell your wife from a dog?

Put them both in the car trunk. The dog will still love you when you let them out.

Free includes debt-free!

but i pity the person who cannot tell their dog from wife any other way.

Liberty = Responsibility

Or the guy falsely accused of such a dastardly deed.

Free includes debt-free!

Aesop's Fables

..could not have enlightened us any better than this story which was humorous and telling.
Thanks for a good laugh at the truth!

was a Alpha male. His house might look better now and his wife looking better when her husband comes home from now on.

Stop your Bi#ching emalvini,

Stop your Bi#ching emalvini, I wish I was married :)

GEEZ Stoney, You don't know how good you got it!

If you must, go ahead, but remember, the kids come first and know this..when the kids come, mama is going to close up shop, if you know what I mean..

Emalvini...you know I've sung your praises before but I gotta call you on this one.

Maybe your Wife just doesn't like your sense of humor?

Much luv and respect there brother ;]

Yeah, yeah, sure, but you

Yeah, yeah, sure, but you Married people complain to much, I think if their were more comments like mine, I would have hope for my generation. besides, I'm not quite as desperate and grouchy as you think, patience is a virtue (like Beauty) :)

You Must Be A Saint!

I've never met a saint...

Just you wait Stoney, you're going to find out what I mean.

Just make sure you marry the best possible woman. Hold out! Don't be in a hurry Pal..

Make sure she is exactly what you want in a woman or you will rue the day you didn't...

Oh, that reminds me of a joke. This one is good Stoney

When Socrates was talking to the youth of his day he instructed them about all of lifes trappings.

He said, "If you marry a good woman you will live a life in bliss"

Now, if If you marry a bad woman you will become a philosopher"

Why a saint? I just hang out

Why a saint? I just hang out with married guys, and they all complain about their wives like they think its cool, never a good word, of course it's (mostly) in good fun, but the "stay single guys" line is getting old.

OK! Then Get Married... But, Ensure You Marry A Good One

You have my blessing Stoney...

The Paul family seems to have found many good women

and helped raise generations of good women who would likely be exceptions to your cynicism.

I believe the expectations you bring to marriage, and your commitment to honor your vows, determines what you get from it more than anything.

There Is A Simple Answer Why They Have A Good And Happy Family

Both Ron and Carol Paul('Lovie') are good and decent people. They have been good examples for all in their family.

They are not a dysfunctional family. Dysfunctional families in america is the reason why this country is in a mess.

The media and the CIA program (Gloria Steinem - Feminist movement) brought about a destruction of the family unit.

A big PR movement that promoted that women are equal to men and should go out and work. What happened was there was no parental supervision and the children were running wild, uncorrected, angry and feeling unloved.

The communists through the heavy financing by the elite knew that if they could destroy the family unit they could make the children rebel from the authority of their parents and thus, they could bring down America.

I personally don't know many functional families these days..When I was growing up most of my classmates, and family members had mothers at home with their kids.
