Tonight was Paul's third best performance, however plagued by debate time (again!)
Submitted by Twiztedklown316 on Thu, 01/24/2008 - 23:52His best performance was at the last debate, and he had a very good performance during a debate in Aug/Sept. (somewhere in there). Tonight he was very precise, very intelligable, interesting, informative.
My only criticism is that he should have interjected to Huckabees claim to have been the only candidate to have seen this economy coming and to being the only one who spoke about it in Michigan.
MSNBC did the usual MSM crap, they gave him very little time, and they fuc%ed with his microphone, neither of which Paul could help.
Thats my 2 cents.

Its easy to get all worked up and have our hearts set on
seeing Dr Paul raise the roof with one-liners and kick everyones ass and "assert " himself- and when we dont see that we tend to feel like it was a letdown. Its a debate- not Jerry Springer. But remember- we Paul supporters are in our own world- albeit a considerably more enlightened one. We talk between debates and have strong opinions on what needs to be said etc. Tonight was a good debate because although there was no particular pwnage, Ron Paul logged some more intelligent, ever consistent , never wavering on ANY issue reference material. No one can deny that the man is an open book- we're confident that he's solid and dosnt get swayed by the latest popular ideology- that is the trademark of a real leader- and a quality that non-Paulites can embrace- a cocky debate of pwnage makes us feel good- but dosnt effect undecideds in the same way. Yeah- a ho-hum debate- but valuble in the big picture. And that necktie? ...damned smooth.
