Tom Cotton at Harvard:

Hated libertarians, loved Bill Clinton:

Arkansas Rep. Tom Cotton, who announced this week that he will challenge Democratic Sen. Mark Pryor, attacked alcohol vendors, called for mandatory financial disclosures of campaign donations, favored banning cigarettes, and attacked libertarianism while he was a Harvard student.

In a twice-weekly column for the Harvard Crimson, Cotton — who has been called a “Republican’s dream” by National Review and an “extraordinary figure” by the Weekly Standard — criticized politicians for not doing enough to oppose tobacco and wrote a laudatory 1996 piece praising Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Maybe former Razorback Star Dan Hampton

Hampton is a conservative, tea party small "L" libertarian Republican, a motivational speaker, former Chicago Bear Pro Bowler and Superbowl player. He declined Obama's invite to the Whitehouse for a 25 year late Superbowl invite, said he didn't like Obama.

Draft Hampton, he doesn't live in Arkansas but still has time to get semi-residency.

Just Checked what constitutes residency in Arkansas

Requirements

Be a U.S. citizen.
Be an Arkansas resident (residing in Arkansas at least 30 days prior to the first election in which you will vote).

You Arkansas voters need to draft a liberty candidate

for the primaries

he pretended to be one.

I am not big on the tea party, but that was where I met him.

Cotton is an army officer and

Cotton is an army officer and war veteran. I was initially interested in him (he's not my district) but he has certainly showed his cards since the election. My guess is as a veteran he is personally invested in the war. To be anything other than a neo-con would threaten his world view and his prior life choices.

I know Black people will never vote for him.

Black people will never voluntarily "pick" Cotton :)

Tom Cotton is no friend to liberty.

Not only should he not beat Pryor, he should be removed as a senator.

Democrats are always better than Neocons, because Republicans still fight Democrats when they act like democrats. However if a republican do what the democrats do, the democrats don't say a word. The GOP neocons must be destroyed first before we have a chance to win back the majority of house and senate votes in favor of liberty.

Tom cotton is from my district, this man is a HUGH Obama supporting republican.

Tom Cotton needs to go.

I am in his district also. looks like we have our work cut out for us.
I am in Hot Springs. let me know how I can help.

peace.

I'd rather vote for

Peter Polyester, or write him in.

Hard Core NEOCON

COTTON is a hard core NEO CON. Not good at all if he wins.

I'm from Arkansas. I don't

I'm from Arkansas. I don't know a lot about him, but from what I've heard he's a pretty good conservative. Definitely not a libertarian, but he seems to be concerned about the debt problem, so that's better than Pryor.

Well I'm from AR too and

Well I'm from AR too and believe me we're better off with Pryor in the senate than Cotton. Pryor is not the best by no means but he does seem to care us somewhat anyway. Cotton was one of the morons speaking the loudest against Amash's amendment to defund the NSA's spying program recently.

It is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled. – Mark Twain

He's an unabashed neocon

He's said Iraq was a just and noble war, spoke out against Rand's position on drones, and spoke out for NSA surveillance during debate on the Amash amendment.

He's also heavily backed by other neocons:

He supports the NDAA Indefinite detention

so F him.

He has two Harvard degrees...

He has two Harvard degrees... I'd vote no.
