Rand Paul is running. He is likely going to win.

When you start looking at who is attacking him lately; You understand what a threat he is to the "old order". He will run. He will likely win if he does. Nothing is certain, but can you imagine?

"Hey dad! Can you handle the treasury?!"

Don't Jinx It!!!!!

I would LOVE to throw my full support, volunteer hours behind Rand...but let's not jinx this...

Rand will get my vote!

One "word" to rule them all

I'm sure there's a "new" version of Diebold called something else by now, but our votes, especially the electronic ones, will be counted in favor of TPTB.

I would love for a member of the Paul family as POTUS, no doubt, but unless millions of Americans take some kind of unified action against "them," nothing of good will happen.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Yes rand is running, he said

Yes rand is running, he said in 2012 if ron didnt run he was going to run, so of course he is going to run in 2016 its obvious...now is he gonna win...ehhh doubtful but ill give everything i can to help him.

I like your optimism

But I'm skeptical. I have my doubts about TPTB ever letting that happen.

Ron Paul convert from the Heart of Dixie

I like the optimism, but let's not confuse internet popularity with real life votes. The boomers who represent a huge portion of the electorate aren't quite as vocal on the internet as the folks who are bit younger (i.e. millennials).

To you people saying its all

To you people saying its all rigged and he will never win, its like you are giving up already. What would you have everyone do?
Anyway, the only reason they can get away with it is because they have the majority. When the majority of people are for Rand, they wont be able to toss out delegates or rig things without causing major problems. We were still in the minority at the convention and when Boner pulled that rules thing, they were barely able to get away with it. Imagine if we had been in majority there, they wouldnt have gotten away with it.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

I hate to burst your bubble but there is no way Rand wins...

the republican nomination... they will steal it from him like they did his dad, I like Rand but we need to be realistic, they will tolerate him right now but when it gets closer to the election they will begin to ostracize him more and more then steal some primaries from him and say "see he leans too far right" and hand the nomination to Jeb Bush or some other neo-con... Personally I would like to see the Libertarian movement get behind Ventura, not because I think he will win but just getting him in the debates to break the two party paradigm would really shake the whole country

Only way for someone like

Only way for someone like Rand Paul to win is if the general populace over throws the current government, because it's all rigged. The last election showed that.

They control the voting machines.

He would never be allowed to win. Sorry, but I had be real.

After seeing what they did to Dr. Paul

in the 2012 election, and the lengths they went to, I also feel doubtful if "they" will let this happen. As much as I want Rand to be the next president, even with the positive reception he is getting with the people, we can already see what they are doing. There are a ton of Republicans that will be in the running, all of which have some name recognition. They will dilute the field, will gang up on Rand and make him look like a kook and against the "beliefs" of the party. On the Dems side they will have Hillary and then a bunch of duds. Hillary will win. I feel like it's already decided, especially after hearing Republicans already praising her. The only way this doesn't come true is if the financial crash happens in the mean-time, and if it does, marshal law and Obama is president forever.

"It’s not pessimistic, brother, because this is the blues. We are blues people. The blues aren’t pessimistic. We’re prisoners of hope but we tell the truth and the truth is dark. That’s different." ~CW

Hate to sound conspiratorial,

Hate to sound conspiratorial, but what if the big economic collapse (the BIG one) happens under a libertarian leaning President? Would that mean a lot of blame and everyone voting Democrat? This is assuming that our votes are actually counted.

Reagan 1981 Recession

1984= Largest electoral victory in American history.

Never Under estimate the power of the market to fix everything in the blink of an eye.

Senator Peter Schiff 2016

For those who weren't actually there or who were too young...

1980 was when a libertarian sounding conservative amazed everyone by winning office and then turned around and super sized the war on drugs and the US military. What was deregulated helped transform the media from information into farcical entertainment and aid bankers in plundering the middle class.

I really hope that doesn't happen again if Rand wins. I don't think I have another 30 years to wait for another chance. I don't want to watch the whole movement hang its hopes on one person who then completely disappoints us.

I'm afraid people are putting too much faith in one guy when the real battle is to change attitudes about the proper role of government. Do that and the right people will get elected. Have we done it enough in the past five years to be there in 2016 so that it will be different than 1980?

I think....

We are going to have to put more then one liberty minded candidate in then toward the end have um drop out and hand the votes over to Rand. They do it, we should too.

RandPaul + JustinAmash 2016?

I don't see Amash able to beat Rand in a race, and it would be a waste of resources for Justin to run against him. Anyone else considered Justin for the VP spot?

Love Amash but will he be old enough?

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know Peace." - Jimi Hendrix

NO DOUBT this next presidential election will be amazing.

It is my greatest hope for 2016 that the thousands of people that are liberty minded and have joined the Republican Party in the last 5-10 years can come together with all those just about there-almost-converted neo-cons that are the swaying vote in the fading hawkish, RINO Republican party and pull the majority.

Rand Paul, like his father, will be the only candidate to offer a different solution other than further intermeddling when it comes to foreign policy. He will vehemently push for the prohibition of predator drones flying over our heads as his 14 hour filibuster showed. He will advocate for auditing the Fed, and then hopefully afterwards, use the public shock at what a horrible idea it was in the first place to finally end it. Though he recently publicly stated he wasn't done with the drug war yet, he has pushed for legalization of industrial hemp, evidently one of the most useful fibers on the planet. He has authored and pushed for these bills and everybody knows it.

Even though he has been a little 'vanilla' on the issues, as we are used to a more "extreme, fringy, dannnngerous" public persona than can and will never be replicated, not even by his own son, Dr. Ron Paul; we HAVE to do everything we can to support him and help him rise to the top and make the REAL change we want in our country. The change we got last time was surface-level. Shallow. It's the old way, of war and of endless profits. The old way of buying cars and houses on credit cards to show your friends (and especially enemies) how good you're doing. We the American people are tired of the old ways, and we are ready to live in our truth. We want to keep our earnings and have peace in the world! RAND PAUL FOR PRESIDENT. And if he makes his dad Treasury Secretary... I will die.

For Freedom!

Ken Cuccinelli and Joe

Ken Cuccinelli and Joe Miller are running, and Paul Broun, Greg Brannon, Dwayne Stovall, and Matt Bevin are all running, not to mention little local guys like Philip Ebby and T.J Fabby, and some of them might even win if we cared half as much about them as we do Rand.

I pre ordered 5 boxes of popcorn for 2016

This is going to be a huge fight between Clinton's crime syndicate and the liberty movement. It is going to get nasty.
Luckily Rand Paul will be stronger than anyone anticipates and will not hesitate to trash Clinton. When he told Hillary that he would have relieved her of her post, that was the warning shot across the bow of the SS Clinton to warn her how nasty he can be.

I am just waiting for Rand to hold his finger up during a debate and say "if any one of you homo's calls me an isolationist, i'll kill you"
That was a Parody of the movie "stripes" no disrespect intended to anyone.

2016 is going to be a firestorm

That is 100% certain. Lame duck elections are ALLWAYS more spectacular. (literally...they are a spectacle)

Senator Peter Schiff 2016
