The bill had so much pork in it

for states and things that had nothing to do with Sandy. Oink, Oink!

If Pigs Could Fly, Christie Would Be Hermann Goering !!!

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."

--Goering at the Nuremberg Trials

The odd thing is that rand comment will probably help Christie.

Come election time voters will say to themselves "I could get behind someone who is the king of bacon." Its really the kind of thing that resonates with voters.

GOPOLOYOLO? What?

Seems to me, TCR just said they expect to see Rand Paul at the RNC.

LOL Gonna be a great party.

King of baccon

What fantastic branding... that's the kind of thing that will stick in the primaries.

I think that actually helped

I think that actually helped Rand Paul. People like this stuff.

True to form, he mocks everyone

I like that kind of neutrality. As much as I wish he was pro-Paul in front of the camera, I'm happy to take the not blatantly-anti-Paul thing I see in other entertainment (you know, mass media) sources.

"Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." -- Thomas Paine

Yeah

Colbert did brake character once in an interview to commend Ron Paul and also said he was an intellectually consistent candidate, but I wonder what he really thinks of Rand.
