Any Weather Mavens Out There? What Was Rainfall in Tangi Valley When SEAL Team 6 Was Killed? Could Black Boxes "Wash Away?"Submitted by Sue4theBillofrights on Thu, 08/01/2013 - 22:30
The Pentagon claims the two black boxes aboard the helicopter were washed away by "flash floods," in a part of the world that is more like the Mojave Desert at that time of year. You can't tell me historical satellite imagery doesn't exist which could show us there was not a cloud in the sky the whole day, but I haven't been able to find such historical data, and when I have, I can't make head nor tails out of it. Surely such data/historical satellite imagery exists on the Internet.
If someone can put the lie to the Pentagpon's claim that there were flash floods in the Tangi Valley, Wardak Province, Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, it puts the lie to everything else, and busts it open. Sounds like a good crowd-sourcing Internet sleuthing project.
Navy SEAL's dad: Obama sent my son to his death
"Among their many suspicions, the families question the sudden replacement of seven Afghan commandos on board the helicopter just before takeoff. The seven who died in the attack are not the seven listed in the flight manifest. The families say that to this day, they don’t know the identities of the dead Afghans. Strange noted that the chopper’s black box was never recovered and doubts the explanation that it was washed away in a flash flood."
