Anyone think the timing of the Friday terror alert and the breaking Benghazi and Snowden stories is coincidental? I don't

The NY Times story was clear to say that the supposed plot was discovered via "electronic communications". Right. Now that everyone knows the NSA is tapping everything everywhere, why would senior Al Quaeda use electronic communications for big events? Something smells.

If this happened under Bush the Times headline would have been, "Bush Administration tries to distract Americans from scandals with Friday afternoon terror alert" Scumbags.

The Obama admin always releases a juicy story on Friday afternoon to force weekend media to cover it. Let's see if anyone has the balls to stay with the Benghazi gun running this weekend. Come on CNN. Do your job.

Have faith my friends

even the local liberal morning show guy came out and said this sounds like utter BS - and this was not talk radio - this was the rock radio morning show doing their little news segment.

People are waking up. Just keep spreading the word.

They heard chatter, hmmmm? Let's see the proof, there is never any proof to their claims.
Solution, shut the embassies for good, get the hell out of the middle east and Africa. Bring everyone home including the military. Stop all aid to all the nations there including money from the World Bank and the IMF.

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

Red State front page guy agrees with us

Ockham’s Razor compels me to call bull**** on this particular terrorism alert and to offer a simpler explanation: that this threat to our embassies simply does not exist.

The only evidence proffered in defense of this ridiculous exercise at playing Chicken Little is the word of the Administration. I, for one, can think of nothing this bunch of cretins and incompetents has done that makes their word credible.

Rather than looking at some cosmic, epic, and existential threat that requires some embassies to shut down for one day… are the jihadis really going to say, “gee, I showed up for my martyrdom mission on Sunday and no one was there so I’m going home?” … we should look for something much more simple.

After Edward Snowden’s attempted defection to Communist China and actual defection to neo-Tsarist Russia and the accompanying revelations of what the NSA has been up to, there has been immense pressure on the Administration to place limits on the activities of the NSA. The secretive FISA Court is under attack by even Senate Democrats. Many questions are being asked about what communications the NSA intercepts, how those decisions are made, and how the product is safe guarded. To date all evidence indicates the NSA makes up these rules as it goes along.

What better way to put an end to this rising tide of concern about civil liberties than to have the NSA suddenly develop intelligence that causes 22 US embassies to close for a day or a week. There, they seem to be saying, doesn’t your silly concern about your rights as citizens and the danger to the republic unsupervised eavesdropping constitutes seem small and petty against THIS HUGE THREAT?

The Administration may actually be worried about national security. That would be a welcome change from its actions since taking office in 2009. To date the focus of the Administration has been on destroying our credibility with our with allies, making us look ridiculous to our enemies, and seemingly missing no chance to reduce American influence in the world.

A more cynical observer would posit that the political leadership of the NSA is abusing its ability to monitor communications in the same way that the IRS abused its ability to review the status of non-profits and the Obama Administration wants to retain the ability to abuse its power to punish its opponents.

The bottom line is that the only evidence there that a threat actually exists is the Administration’s word. That requires us to ignore the entire history of the Obama regime. On the other hand, the Administration has shown it will instinctively lie to protect itself and the attention direct at the NSA is a threat to the ability of Obama to operate without concern for the rule of law. Logic says they are lying.

Woa, I don't know where you took that quote from, but turns out it's close to one of my favorites among Pascal's (translated):

Yes, yes and yes!

There seems to be more and more "anomalies" around the case of Edward Snowden....not the man, but the people around him.
Am I wrong in having a deep suspicion that Wikileaks is a whistle blower back stop for the CIA? Is it a trap for people who want to protect The Constitution?
Why do all the people around Snowden belong to powerful groups that have their own agenda?
Was it a mistake to research Bruce Fein, Richard Gingras, Amelia Chilcott Fawsett, or Snowdens Russian Lawyer, his wikileaks lawyer, RTV, The Guardian, Salon.com, Greenwald?
Is it starting to look like a "too polished" media production?
Am I mistaken in thinking that this could be the slickest propaganda/smokescreen ever produced?

I think it's possible that 'Snowden' is...

Disclosure & Normalization of the surveillance state.

I've seen that video several times and find it breathtaking. I am a mental health professional interested in intervening at the level of culture to change hearts and minds and help more people find happiness. My own work is a reverse propaganda effort, if you will, to counteract the efforts of the world communists and the entrenched American oligarchy. I operate on a small scale but on several fronts for freedom and the true American way of life. I know many of you do as well - and are motivated by Dr. Paul.

There is some progress being made but more people need to put something on the line to battle this powerful foe that is among us:

If this group appeals to you please feel free to contact me:

This group promotes common sense conservatism as synthesized by Kevin Kervick in his book, Discovering Possibility: A Common Sense Conservative Manifesto (For Classical Liberals Too). We are counter- revolutionaries offering an alternative narrative to the politically correct dogma that is promoted by Progressives and Cultural Marxists in academia, the national media, and their various think tanks and community organizations. At the same time, we also reject the decidedly religious alternatives that are promoted by many traditional conservatives. Finally we also disagree with Libertarians because we find their philosophy lacks an appreciation for the importance of culture, order, and tradition. If the ideas are confusing to you it is because they represent a new paradigm. Please visit our website (above and below) for information about our values and methods.

This is an organization for philosophical conservatives who can make moral arguments based on reason rather than emotion or appeals to identity. We wish to restore the constitutional principles that made the United States exceptional and have unfortunately been steadily eroded for over a century. Our focus is restoring the civil society by limiting government and restoring virtue.

While religion and the right to bear arms are critical to most Conservatives, we believe there are many other forums that advance those aspects of the conservative identity. And, while gun rights, gay rights, and drug freedom are important to most Libertarians, there are also many other forums that advance those causes as part of the Libertarian identity. Therefore, limited government Jeffersonian types will feel at home here. Progressives, secessionists, conspiracy theorists, religion and gun fundamentalists, libertines, and anarcho-capitalists may not. We do not wish to be all things to all people.

We believe it is important to use person to person community activism to change the culture. In the past, conservatives have relied too heavily on electoral politics. We believe if we can change the narratives that create meaning, the politicians will follow us. Thus, our focus is the community itself and our methods are education, infiltration, and social marketing. These methods have previously been the purview of the left. We hope to change that.

The Common Sense Community Builders program is a community education and capacity building program developed by Kevin Kervick. It embraces traditional community building methodology within a cutting edge common sense framework. The common sense framework is inspired by limited government communitarianism. That means it promotes personal virtue and voluntary neighborliness rather than government programs or professionalization. It favors deconstruction, decentralization, and localism in order to build community capacity. The program encourages freedom, personal responsibility, neighborliness, and thrift.

I have been lucky, thank you, parents

Well, I have been very very lucky on this end, thanks to the parent, especially the father, first, then the step father.

Although it took me time to really understand why in early to mid teenage, they have always pushed me to question systematically and especially what I would learn in public schools (mandatory) about everything that wouldn't be hard sciences or french grammar (my mom was a lawyer secretary, she made sure I care about language). They knew darn well about the locks owned by the socialists over most of the 1980s and 90s french society.

They also encouraged me, by leaving me a lot on my own regarding my interests and progress, to learn from my own mistakes, to try and discard, and to invest myself in whatever studies I would choose, and to compete as best as I could with kids of wealthier/better educated families in the topics I liked most at least. Comp. languages and logics eventually spoke to me :)

Nevertheless, I confess ever since I started working, I stayed mostly politically apathetic up until I relocate to the US and I first heard about Ron Paul, in 2010.

This is well worth a watch AT LEAST ONCE in its full length.

I believe Bezmenov couldn't of course predict the future, so was a bit inaccurate in his "stage of bringing the country to edge of crisis".

I think in the case America it is only taking more time than expected by the new marxists in power - "those we are stuck with", Bloomberg, Feinstein, Pelosi, Lee, et al, not to mention their corporate crony buddies bribing them - to generalize the crises throughout all the layers and parts of the american society.

But, for how much longer... ? I think the clock is REALLY ticking now, when you see (or guess) what is actually going on at the head of the state... :(

I thought about that

I thought about that scenario, about a month or so ago.

Well, if you allude to a massive global psy-op (?)

That was tough to wrap my head around it, but I eventually discarded it.

Not because of the too far fetched (because that wouldn't be)... But because of the degrees of improvisation and unpredicatility we've seen it has generated, in apathetic minds, or even servile medias...

Serious, no one can be surprised by the narrative the latter serve us...

But if you look closer, really close, maybe it will strike you as it did to me...

That's gross. Too gross. They had no preparation time whatsoever.

The state and big corpo serve them the bs to regurgitate real time, patching with stories and faked outrage and accusations of treason, pretty much improvised or with next to zero prepa.

They had no master plan, that is my belief.

I think Edward is genuine.

That doesn't mean he hasn't made mistake himself in delivering the truth... But, my point is:

probably nobody but him knew it would ever happen.

Hey, NSA:

choke on that, idiots.

Why does a a global psy-op have to be massive?

This has been done before to bring about WW2. All the relevant players for the Military Industrial Banking Cartel know what to do.
I can't believe that they would not cover their arse for "leakers".
And setting up a safe haven is the most logical way to do it.
Wolf in sheeps clothing and all that.

I was only alluding to the fact

I was only alluding to the fact that, whether it was planned or not, Snowden's dissidence and challenging the USSA gov't has gone, well... global, that's all.

I heard they did hear about it, too, all throughout Europe, with sometimes very similar or novelty pack of lies in the "free press" to try discredit the (IMO) whistleblower.

I can and could read French newspapers ever since mid June, it's sometimes even more comical (if I dare say) than what I see or hear here, in the US.

(Correction, that's rather depressing, in fact.)

I think it was planned

and they were either waiting for some one to come along, or more likely, have "handled" Mr Snowden into being a patriotic whistle blower, whilst at the same time using him as an unwitting Geo Political Pawn.
Here's my take on it; Julian Assange the enigmatic "poster child" for Wikileaks, Bradly Manning, the "deterrent' and Edward Snowden, the "pawn".
I have done a complete 360 degree turn on Wikileaks....I don't trust them at all, and feel that it is a covert CIA operation.

Substitute the word COWARD for Trror.

Everytime you hear them say trror alert, in your mind substitute the word COWARD. I.e. COWARD ALERT.

It really reveals their agenda, helps keep yourself deprogrammed an in tune to some of the subtler messages they are broadcasting as subtext to their COWARD ALERTS.

It also helps others deprogram. No one wants to be a coward, but everyone gets afraid. It's an odd duality.

Try this, it really works.

On terrorism, purges deportations & "unpersons" in 10 paragraphs

On terrorism, purges, deportations, and "unpersons" (Yezhov photograph) - in ten paragraphs, and about 2 years only, 1937 and 1938 :

[...] Stalin personally signed 357 proscription lists in 1937 and 1938 that condemned to execution some 40,000 people, and about 90% of these are confirmed to have been shot. At the time, while reviewing one such list, Stalin reportedly muttered to no one in particular: "Who's going to remember all this riff-raff in ten or twenty years time? No one. Who remembers the names now of the boyars Ivan the Terrible got rid of? No one." In addition, Stalin dispatched a contingent of NKVD operatives to Mongolia, established a Mongolian version of the NKVD troika, and unleashed a bloody purge in which tens of thousands were executed as "Japanese Spies." Mongolian ruler Khorloogiin Choibalsan closely followed Stalin's lead [...]

CNNs ” job” is to provide cover for the politicians, who in return, provide cover for ” the real owners of this country...(it's a big club, and you ain't in it!”.

Now that the long con is well established...it's time to take advantage of it's position in the public mind. Either they ” foil” something (which they probably created), or the shadow group perpetrates something horrible and say that if they had more power they could have prevented it.

Easy button, really, once you understand how these people operate.

One thing about the Snowden

One thing about the Snowden saga I think is a tad strange. At every little move, there has been a huge swarm of media at the airport to follow him. How come they didn't follow him now that he got a passport and left the airport?

The swarm, from when he met Amnesty at the terminal,

Was because it had been broadcast/publicized that the meeting would happen. He is quite the story. Naturally, there would be swarms of media there. He didn't leave the terminal when they were there, it wasn't till weeks after. It isn't like the swarm was camped out at the terminal waiting. There was an announcement he was going to leave, but it wasn't till days later he left.

votes Hilary in 2016 is a traitor to this Country. Final. Period. End Of Discussion!

Whoever votes period, is a traitor to this country...

... This video changed my mind and heart permanently about the act of voting. It will change yours too, if you dare to watch: http://youtu.be/t5FNDRgPOLs

“Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves.”― Henry David Thoreau

Slow down there buddy...

I watched the video and liked it. It's good. His points are good.

But you're labeling everyone who votes, period, as a traitor?
His point was if you vote for someone who advocates immoral policies you are a 'bad' American. He doesn't seem to even entertain the possibility that there can be someone worth voting for, who will uphold all the ideals and replace someone who doesn't. Am I a traitor if I vote for someone who will uphold the constitution, advocate for individual freedom, and free markets? Not at all.

Either you are young and naïve or this is an obvious diversion tactic, imho.

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

Consider this

Ron Paul warned of the intervention in foreign countries. These civilians are getting angrier every day (see drone strikes). If some other country was doing this to your family, how would you feel? I am not surprised that more and more are rising up and yelling "Please stop!". Whether they will attack the Embassies or not, I do not know, but the installations are closer to them than the US shore.
