Former Defense Contractor Exposes Obama's Death Squads
Published on Aug 5, 2013
Alex is joined via Skype by former Army and Defense contractor Brandon Toy to discuss his recent public resignation from General Dynamics in protest of the "Dirty Wars" going on in the middle east and the atrocities he has witnessed. They also discuss high soldier suicide rates, U.S. officials using their powers of execution indiscriminately over seas and bringing those tactics to the American homeland, & the direction the nation is headed and the power of returning veterans to open the eyes of the general public to war crimes being committed in their name but without their knowledge or consent.

Brandon Toy enlisted into the military in 2003.
He served in Baghdad where he equipped and trained Iraqi Police and the Iraqi National Guard.
After being discharged, Toy stayed within the military-industrial complex, working as an engineering project manager at General Dynamics Land Systems.
In time, he determined that his service did not involve fighting terrorism, “taking the battle” to the enemy, or freeing Iraq.

Iraqi War Vet and Former Defense Contractor Explores the Causes and Consequences of Dehumanization and How it Affect's Todays World
More Than Human/Less Than Human will examine the role dehumanization plays in generating consent for war, historically and today. It will examine the history of casting enemies of war and their origin populations as less than human.
Why is there a tendency to characterize “enemy” populations as different or less than? Conversely, why is there a tendency to see those at home as more than human, above the rules, or better than people overseas?
This full-length feature film will take an in-depth look at the forces within society – the media, the government, special interest groups, and the military – that shape perceptions of “us and them.” What powers are at work, and what is the motive? Who gains monetarily and who has an interest in shaping these perceptions?
It will also examine the aspects of human nature that leads people to accept these ideas. What is it within people that allows them to see people “over there” as less than human and those “at home” as more than human? How can we combat these forces and promote a humanistic and accurate view of all people?
These issues and more will be explored through the prism of the director’s own experiences as a 10-year veteran of the military and private defense industry. The film will rely on expert testimony, interviews with everyday people, and scholarly research. It will utilize a fact-based, confrontational point-of-view and will present the truth in a non-partisan light.
