Judge Who Accepted Private-Prison Bribes To Send Black Kids Sentenced To 28 Years

In 2009, I wrote about Judge Mark A. Ciavarella, one of two Pennsylvania judges who was paid bribes by a private prison contractor to send black children to prison and keep the for-profit prisons full. Ciavarella, who once sent an African-American child to jail for three months for posting negative comments about her assistant principal on MySpace, has been sentenced to 28 years in prison. He was convicted of racketeering, and has been stripped of his state pension.

Case review

for the kids he put away?

i remember this. it is not about race

boingboing.net is race baiting.

the mother of a white kid that killed himself because of the corrupt judge was originally what got everyone's attention. she showed up at his trial and yelled at him on video. i saw the video here and commented on it a long time ago. i offered an oz of silver for anyone else who posted a video protesting the judge.

update: looks like the source of this race baiting disinfo comes from what appears to be a race obsessed black supremacy site called rolling out.

thanks for posting E...

makes my day.

Accountability in this country? No way. Really?

Ah, nice! Hopefully he gets dropped in general population....

What would the Founders do?

Typical racist website with race baiting headlines.

There is no evidence that only blacks were the target of this judges actions but as usual the black racist pimps try to make every injustice into a racial issue. Completely overshadows the story of this corrupt judge and makes the story laughable.

I remember this story

He's a piece of shit that deserves prison, but I guess race baiting is mandatory ever since the Zimmerman trial. Race was never an issue, trafficking children to private prisons was.

More to this "lesson" than written

Cops, prosecutors and judges collude extensively these days and this payola wouldn't have been limited to this one individual.

He crossed somebody big and got thrown under the bus. Or so I'd wager money on. Probably won't hear much from him. They got a million ways to get to you on the inside.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Good! Let this be a lesson

to would-be tyrants. (Existing ones will be prosecuted, so no need for lessons; they will face consequences.)

I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.

keep up the great work

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

tip of the iceberg

lots of dirty judges out there -hopefully the good ones win at some point.

This disgustingly evil creep will likely be out in a year or two unless the system wakes up...
