Huge debate moment: Ron Paul accused administrative officials of planning the war since 1998!

And yet nobody seems to be talking about this. To those who said Dr. Paul was not aggressive, think about it: he basically called out the Bush administration for planning the invasion before 2001. What an amazing, ASSERTIVE, thing to say!

I worry...

that the politicians are the only ones who don't know they've been pwnd. Listening to McCain try to answer Paul's question last night was a hoot, but I got the sense that most Americans wouldn't understand the question, and therefore didn't understand just how awful McCain's answer was.

Subtle doesn't mean effective!

Hows this for you guys? Ive been talking about this for a long time. Not only that but everything on the website.

It was a subtle strike vs. Clinton/Gore

It was a slap in the face of the Clinton machine, but like many Paul's attacks it is subtle and true. It has to sink in before anyone "gets" it.

I think it's very funny that most politicians just don't get it that they are getting pwnd. Very stealthy.

I thought he was blaming Clinton & CO

and implying bush just went along with it after 9-11

the sanctions

the sanctions that bill clinton led were bloody and disgusting; madeline albright said: "we think 500,000 dead iraqi children are worth the price" since that many children died, from amoung other things-- lack of chlorine to make drinking water safe.

in some ways, I had hoped that Bush's war would have ended things quickly but now, over 1,000,000 dead iraqi civilians later, iraq is worse off than ever.

OMG

can you give me any links to the quote from Albright and to the stats regarding 1,000,000,000 dead Iraqi civilians. this is disgusting.

Thanks

Super interesting point!!

If it wasn't true, or terribly damning to this whole disgusting system we have the corporate media would be ALL over that statement trying to make Dr. Paul look like a "crank"....And yet no one has anything to say about that!!

Way too risky for the MSM to even attempt.

Bravo Doc!!

actually,

i believe he actually said it was planned by **the previous administration** (clinton).

I definitely picked up on that...

wish he had just said Clinton Administration. After all, it's a Republican primary debate and that itself would earn smiles in the audience.

it was a brave thing to do

that's why i don't get it when people on this board criticize Ron Paul by saying he's not aggressive enough.

He has lived his life challenging the corrupt system in Washington.
he's been one of the most aggressive and determined legislators out there for the cause of freedom.

i think some people are expecting the debates to be like an ultimate fighting match. They can't see how Ron Paul eviscerates everyone else on stage by boldly stating the truth when no one else wants to.

Just remember....

How many [perhaps you?] 'awakened' during a moment in one of the debates....
Individuals will have been moved by RP's debate last night; individuals who will join our movement.

How True-----

I have known for years about the "conspiracy" for global governance, Bilderbergers, et al and, of course did what I could to educate my children and others about this.

I have also known and respected Dr. Paul for being the champion of the constitution, but after being an avid reader of anything "Ron Paul" during his campaign, I am surprised at what all I have learned from him!

Some of my opinions have changed dramatically. For instance: Who would have thought that I would become an anti-war activist?! I am surprised at how much of the tv media garbage I actually believed before--even though I knew better!

Listening to Ron Paul, even in the brief moments during the debates can cause any of us to have an "AHA!" moment.

The awakening has begun

So true what you wrote...the 'a ha' moments have truly begun all over the united states and throughout the earth.

Jesus is the saviour of the WHOLE WORLD, "As in Adam all die, so too in Christ ALL shall be made alive." (ICor.15:22) All means all. The pagan 'hell' of literal fire & eternal torment is a lie and is SPIRITUAL TERRORISM. http://www.hopebeyondhell.net/blog

IF IT WERE NOT FOR HIS TRUTH-WHO WOULD HE HAVE?

I could not agree more, which is why I wrote SEPARATING THE TRUTHER FROM RON PAUL!

It is somewhat deeper but 100% true!!!

If we're going with wacky

If we're going with wacky conspiracy theories, why not 1990?

He didn't accuse only the executive branch

In 1998, Bush was not president, so RP wasn't strictly talking about the Bush administration. He's talking about legislation that passed both houses in 1998 calling for sanctions and what-not against Iraq and it's leader, Saddam Hussein.

Dr. Paul is aggressive in the courtroom sense

Dr. Paul is helping to build a case against the Republican 'front-runners' just like a good prosecuting attorney would.

Great point!

I literally stood up and cheered when Dr. Paul said that! Thank you for starting this positive thread. Reading some of the others this morning can make for a very depressing day. When people criticize Dr. Paul's manner of speaking, it makes me angry. I want to scream at them to see the BIG PICTURE in what he is accomplishing. I have known about the NWO since 1970, and Dr. Ron Paul is the first man to have the courage to speak out against it in the way that he has. That takes more "assertiveness", "bravery", "courage", "fearlessness" than most people see exhibited in one person in their lifetime (maybe 2 lifetimes.. . .. ) Dr. Paul is the David of the Bible taking on the giant, Goliath (and we all know who the winner was!).

"Nothing is as it appears; everything is smoke and mirrors"

They are either low on understanding, or change agents.

Designed to insert all the negativity to slow this down.

Understand that, and all you will see is the Magnificent effort by
all the supporters, and most especially by Ron Paul,

and you will continue your great efforts unabaited.

Pause for no one, push forward in your special way.

Together, we all make OUR difference.

Hot potato

It goes back even further. President Clinton was offered the PNAC deal for pre-emption on Iraq and rejected it.

mccain julie romo people

are so hypnotized that you could tell them there grandma planned the iraq invasion and they wouldn't notice...

This is like when he mentioned gold market manipulation...

People don't want to think about some things, as if not-thinking about them will make problems go-away...

I have two friends that will

I have two friends that will not and seemingly CAN not listen when I start to tell them any of this. They just won't. Do I really blame them? I can't, because this knowledge causes me pain every day, just about, and that is not a good way to go through life. When I forget about it, I am fine. You know what I mean, completely, and it is hard to be responsible for forcing these people to wake up. Oh,, well..

keep telling your friends the truth...

be sure to give them dates and names. know your facts inside out. offer sources. eventually, they will feel guilty about keeping their head in the sand....especially when you deliver the facts like an expert debater.

"This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave."

Yes, waking up is hard... but then there comes joy

When I awoke last year, I went through stages: shock, denial, anger/fury/rage, depression, and then I realized I was free. I apparently released a subconscious suspicion that we have been lied to, and I came to. I woke.

The joy that came when I realized I could no longer be lied to, and that I COULD do something about it freed me and filled me with energy.

Give your friends time. There are stages of waking, and stages of accepting, grieving and acknowledging, and then becoming enlivened. They will go through these stages (everyone in their unique way and time, some more quickly than others.)

I am sooo happy for them when they begin to wake up... what a liberating experience,

It's like reading the news with a secret decoder ring!

I caught that.

And I'm certain it'll be ignored by the old media too.
