The Carlyle Group....Did you know?

I'm sure many of you guys are familiar with the defense contractor, the carlyle group, and its connections with the current administration. but did you know they also own hertz rental cars, baskin robbins, and Dunkin Donuts...Funny how in the last few years Dunkin Donuts has revamped their style in a multi million dollar makeover, not to mention the propping of stores on EVERY street corner in the USA...

It's funny you say that. I remember about a year ago W held a press conference at the grand opening of a Dunkin Donuts talking about opportunities in America. Is this what we have come to, our government peddling donuts and waging pre-emptive wars. Give me a break.

Last summer my wife and I took a road trip (a week off) and went travelling around the New England area. It didn't take long before we started seeing the oddest thing // they'd be directional signs to this buisness and that business and this location and that location found in all the little towns BUT MOST PROMINENTLY and always a SIGN to Duncan Donuts. Every town, well -- nearly all. Enough that we started noticing.
