A viral video showing the beating of a 13-year-old white boy by three African-American youths in Florida has left hundreds of thousands of viewers horrified, but critics say the case doesn't seem to be attracting much sympathy from self-styled civil rights activists.

ya know...

My neighbor and I talk all the time. He is a really cool black guy. You can imagine the debate we had over the GZ trial.

That being said, the other day we had another spirited debate. I told him that I was tired of automatically feeling awkward when discussing race with a black person.

Then I told him how much I despised Sharpton and Jackson. I said that I believed that they were profiteers and pushed division. His response floored me.

'Most black people don't like them either.'

I asked him who were the best black leaders and he didn't have a response.

Pretty shocking to me.
