**VOTE - Politico questions for debate**
Was just scrolling through, voting for questions for the Politico debate and thought I'd share this one. Would be nice if it made it to the final batch:
Question Number 432 (at present):
"Michael Scheuer worked for the CIA for 22 years, serving as the Chief of the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorist Center. He worked as Special Advisor to the Chief of the bin Laden unit from September 2001 to November 2004. Scheuer has stated repeatedly that we have been targeted by Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda as a direct result of our policies in the Middle East, yet several candidates continue to insist that it has nothing to do with our policies, that we've been targeted because "they hate us for our freedoms." How does your candidate reconcile this inconsistency with our own experts?"
