Freemasons, I'm joining. Well, thinking about it. Your thoughts?

As simple as the title, I've been skeptical, and I've studied intensely for over a week on the matter. I think I want to be a part of the group that started the Boston Tea Party, had a large number of generals including George Washington during the Revolutionary War be Masons, as well as helping Gallieao against the church in spreading truth. That's a good track record. Plus, 9 signers of the Declaration of Independence, several signers of the Constitution and 14, I think, presidents of the U.S.

Why not be a member when their history lines up so well with what I believe in, based on things like I mentioned above.

There are obviously the occult symbols, so on, so forth, that I think are misunderstood, like much of libertarianism.

Your thoughts oh powerful Daily Paul?

I'm a Mason

The question you should ask yourself is "Why should I be a mason." If you are doing it for power, money, political contacts, etc. you are doing it for the wrong reason and you will be disappointed. If on the other had you are doing it to help other men become more virtuous, then you are doing it for the right reasons.

Be sincere in that assessment. I waited 12 years until I was firm in my commitment to freedom as well as my intent to do good. Honesty and virtue first.

Yore not lion.

You think there's more freedom behind that door?

Why not just stand on your own 2 feet.

8 years ago I managed a concession stand at Lambeau Field.

All the concession stands are operated by non-profit volunteer groups at Lambeau. The stand I worked for was operated by the Elk's Club. To work the next season it was decided that I had to join their club.

I had to endure a bunch of weird rituals and swear oaths to defend my fellow man and my country as I walked around the 4 points of the compass. My membership dues were waived.

Then for the rest of the meeting I got to listen to all these old farts whine about their fellow man, why the country is going to hell, and especially why nobody wants to be in their club anymore. Also, the drinks were overpriced.

So if you are planning to join the Masons in order to make contacts in the business world and increase your social standing then good luck in your little secret club.

Shagga-lagga Ungy-bungie woo woo wah.

My mom joined an elks club

Or the "ladies of have elks" or whatever, mostly because she was getting into RVing and they let you use their parking lot and facilities... All she had to do is pay some dues. Now maybe that's just because she's in the girls club and not the real deal. But it didn't seem that serious.

Elks Aren't FM

...just fyi...

FM is completely different.

I have it on good authority, as well as having been to an installation.

Didn't mean to imply that. No, they aren't affiliated.

I was just mentioning my closest contact with a fraternal organization...

Most lodges are just like

Most lodges are just like what you describe. It's a boys club with some goofy old rituals attached. Mostly harmless.

why Catholics can't be Freemasons

IMO this makes Catholicism look bad too but it holds for Christians.

Ventura 2012

Sure. Infiltrate and expose.

As long as you don't let them get inside your head and turn you into a Satan worshiping geedy zombie. Go for it.
Oh? you did not know that their god (small g) is Satan. You would of course not be informed of this until you reach 33rd degree.
But you could maybe spend summer camp at Bohemian Grove and attend many other such events, even if you don't reach 33rd degree..
Holy hop-up-and-down!

I have two friends who were/are closely associated with the masons. One is a 66-year old man that made it to 32 degrees as he wanted access to as much knowledge as possible in their libraries. He quickly turnes from the organization at that point, and embraced YHWH (the sacred name of the Creator given exclusively to man). When people say they believe in "God", ask them "Which?" Freemasons make you take an oath to not worship specific gods; in other words, you cannot use the sacred name. To this day, my friend will not say a word about why he left or what went on in the upper echelons of freemasonry.

My other friend in hia upper-30s; his grandfather was a 32 as was his father. His father refused to ever let his son become a mason, and to this day refuses to answer any questions about it. All thatmy friens has is the freemason bible that his grandfather gave him, which is essentially a king james bible with an FAQ. One of the questions regards wearing hats... he who wears the hat, has the authority. Try to wear a hat into a courtroom, and refuse to take it off. See what happens.

Secret societies are an abomination to a free society and people. Don't be fooled.

Catholics are forbidden to be

Catholics are forbidden to be masons and rightly so. Freemasons are among the most smarmy, deceptive, disingenuous people.
As Pope Leo XIII said in 1902, "Filled with the spirit of Satan, who knows how to transform himself into an angel of light, Freemasonry puts forward as its pretended aim the good of humanity. Paying a lip service to the authority of law, and even to the obligations of religion, it aims (as its own statutes declare), at the destruction of civil authority and of the Christian priesthood, both of which it regards as the foes of human liberty." - Parvenu a la Vingtcinquieme annee, Given in Rome at St. Peter's, to March 19, 1902, twenty-fifth year of Our Pontificate.

I suggest the books BEHIND THE LODGE DOOR and THEIR GOD IS THE DEVIL, by Paul Fisher, who worked as a Congressional aide and has more documentation from the library of congress, military records, etc. than you could ever imagine.

Well of course...

Catholic's have the Knights Of Columbus. Columba. Dove.
Same crap under another name.
These secret society organizations are all tied together at the top.
Don;t fool yourself.

Yeah, the Roman Catholic Church is quite pagan...

... So much of the Roman Church's symbolism comes from ancient pagan rites and rituals that are synonymous with some Masonic symbolism today.

The Church going after the Illuminati and Freemasonry (to a lesser degree, no pun intended) during the 17th-18th centuries, is more like one larger gang set, having a beef with another set of the same gang, over who has the right to run the streets. The same esoteric knowledge that the Craft Guilds had, the Emperors had, and more. The rest is politics.

The Roman Church, is not a true representation of Yeshuas teaching, beliefs, or traditions.

Yeshua the Messiah, was a Jew. His followers were Messianic Jews. They kept the Sabbath holy, Saturday Sabbath, not Sunday (of course it wasn't called "Saturn Day" to the Jews in Judea, that is a Roman thing). They celebrated Passover, not Ishtar (Easter). The Roman Catholic religion is a pagan dilution of the Hebrew scriptures and the story of the prophesized Messiah.
There is only one true G-d.

Paragraph 12 sums up the complaint quite nicely.

Tell us more. You mean 1/3

Tell us more.

You mean 1/3 of the signers of the Constitution were "among the most smarmy, deceptive, disingenuous people."??

What does Satan mean to you? And explain how you reached that conclusion.

You do realize that the Church that once ruled isn't the same as it is today, well, to some it is. In older days it was run by tyrants just like Kings and Dictators run their countries.

Satan (adversary/opponent) back then to the Church back then are the Ron Paul, Ed Snowden, Bradley Manning of today. They are a threat to the Tyrants. Anyone who is opposing the status quo is a satan. You just been brainwashed to believe that the word satan, which LITERALLY means opponent is some evil word. It was "evil" to the church because they didn't like challengers. People got burned by the stake for questioning the church. Those who questioned were called Satan.

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

So much for individualism,

So much for individualism, eh? lol We must judge the collective!

"The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that." — Alan Greenspan

So within this thread

you have attempted to justify worship of "lucifer" and paint satan as nothing more than a word for opponent. In previous comments within this thread you defended Anton LaVey, the founder of the church of satan. Who are you really Brian, Michael Aquinto? You have attacked Christianity, denounced the messiah - Christ, Jesus, Yashau, and the Almighty Father, the one true God, Yaweh. The same God, Ron and Rand Paul believe in. You masons are worker bodies all across the globe for the modern zionist structure. The one that dates backs thousands of years ago to ancient Israel, Egypt and Babylon. Baphomet, molech, serpent, dragon, demon, legion, lucifer, satan... call the evil one and its minions what you will, makes no difference in the end, you guys are working for the flesh, for fleeting earthly riches and vanity, oh the vanities, all is vanity!!! To gain the world and lose your very soul. Through good works and boasting one will not enter the kingdom of heaven, for the truth lies within ones heart and God will see what lies within, the grace of God is the only thing that will save us. Repent, repent, turn your hearts from evil, from lies, deceit, usury, covetousness, slander, debauchery, all the things your conscience tells you are wrong. Have you ever fallen down on your knees with tears pouring, weeping for humanity, crying out for the lost souls, your own mistakes, your failures, for all the heartache, death, starvation, sadness in the world, have you? In those moment I feel truly enlightened, illuminated, and connected to God on a level that is so deep and real its impossible to describe. You need not hide in buildings with windows bricked and mortared in. You need not seek some truths spoon fed to your mouth from some "masters", there is only one master you should serve, your Lord and God. Every secret thing will be exposed, Get out now Brian, leave that place my brother at once I beseech of thee.

double post

oopsy. Guess its just really that much more important you got the message!

Personally, I don't really buy into most of the theories and stories surrounding Freemasonry (at least the ones I've heard/read), but I'd imagine that it'd be like any other power structure-- decent folks at the bottom of the pyramid while the shit quickly rises to the top.

Speaking of occult symbols, does anyone know the story behind this? I ask because...because FOR SCIENCE! Also curiosity. Mostly the latter.

Liberty = Responsibility

So it *is* a branch

My neighbor kept telling me they were a separate entity entirely, but too many of the symbols seemed familiar to me. Also asked a friend in Boston who keeps up with that stuff, but he had no idea what it was.

I don't really keep up with the Freemason stuff, but it's a very interesting print. If I can get a decent camera I'll take a picture of mine, since there are a ton of small details and little bits of writing all over the piece.

My Grandfather was an Oddfellow Mason...

He was also in the Army, during ww2 in Germany.

He may have been in intelligence is what I'm suspecting more and more.

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

Would you say the same about

Would you say the same about Ron Paul's organization. Lower level decent people, but on the top they are evil?

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

Yes I would...

...even though I'd hardly call a single man, his campaign staff, and a largely decentralized grassroots following a proper power structure, but I get your point.

Ron Paul isn't infallible, and neither are those who sought to climb to the top using Dr. Paul as a stepping stone, as evidenced by some of the people he chose/allowed to have surround him. As RxN3ST1 previously pointed out.

Also, I never said anything about anyone being evil.

A signature used to be here!

If they were just there to do as they

are told and swear secret oaths, then yeah.

I would agree with him

on a couple of folks. Jessie Benton and John Tate were not the most liberty / grass root supporters in Ron's organization.

What about

"The Club Of All That Refuse To Join A Club That Would Have Them As A Member?"

By your own admission, you are already a member. But that means you joined a club that would have you as a member, so you cannot be a member. So which is it?

Personally, I'll just stick to refusing to club people with my member.

I have done

a lot of research on the freemasons and although it is true that at the lower levels it can appear to be a benign organization which seeks to promote only charity and "goodwill toward men" type of philosophy, but that is only just a clever disguise to fool the "unenlightened" masses as to it's true purpose. Those that say it is not a religious organization have not spent much time really looking into the matter. The masons, especially the higher degrees are deeply religious people, the problem being that the one that they worship is no other than Lucifer himself. They may use different names to describe him (i.e. the Supreme Being, etc.), but underneath the names lies The Father of Lies himself. They worship him, and in return he rewards them with earthly wealth and power...only for a season; however, as we are all mortals and ultimately will come face to face with our Creator and when that time comes, no man, nor Lucifer himself can protect us from God's Holy Judgement. Only Christ can do that and those that are part of the Masonic Order do not recognize Christ as Savior or God.

My humble advice to you would be to stay as far away from the Masons as you possibly can.
