Freemasons, I'm joining. Well, thinking about it. Your thoughts?

As simple as the title, I've been skeptical, and I've studied intensely for over a week on the matter. I think I want to be a part of the group that started the Boston Tea Party, had a large number of generals including George Washington during the Revolutionary War be Masons, as well as helping Gallieao against the church in spreading truth. That's a good track record. Plus, 9 signers of the Declaration of Independence, several signers of the Constitution and 14, I think, presidents of the U.S.

Why not be a member when their history lines up so well with what I believe in, based on things like I mentioned above.

There are obviously the occult symbols, so on, so forth, that I think are misunderstood, like much of libertarianism.

Your thoughts oh powerful Daily Paul?

This is why you can't argue

This is why you can't argue with you conspiracy nuts. Your pointing out a typo as proof of your conspiracy. That's all you people have is ridiculous baseless made up arguments. You're not in the York rite you have no clue how degrees work in the York rite. Why don't you go join the masons, earn the degrees, sit in the east, then come back and talk all your insane baseless jibber jabber. I feel sorry for you. You have no capacity for rational thought and base your lives on ignorance and no facts. You would think you would at least see for yourself first hand by becoming a mason what it was all about before believing all the fictitious non sense you spew about it. But as a wiseman once said, you can't fix stupid.

You beat me to it...

On the calling BS on this guy.

He also contradicts himself several times. Ridiculous.

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

You are right that he is

You are right that he is messing up all the Masonry factors, but you are also completely wrong on your analysis of Masonry, but why do 'y you show up just ONE., ONE, yeah, just ONE< piece of evidence that you believe makes Masonry satanic... if you even know what that means..

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

there are millions of Freemasons. Isn't it possible some groups do things differently? Sort of a society in a society?

Not in masonry. I've visited

Not in masonry. I've visited lodges in many different countries. They are all the same. The meetings are all the same have the same format. Opening and closing a meeting is the same no matter where you go. You can claim all sorts of things about masonry having never been to a lodge meeting. Masonry is universal. No matter where you go things are the same. Except maybe the language. But the actual lodge meetings are identical give or take a word or two here and there. It's on of the most appealing things about being a mason. No matter where I am I can count on a lodge being the same as mine. Anywhere in the world.

Well damnit

something is going on.

It may not have anything to do with your experience with Freemasons. It may be something entirely different, but there is some secret group or groups that collude for whatever reasons. Even George Washington wrote about the Illuminati.

............We Have A WINNER!!!

It's true that there's been

It's true that there's been Masonic abuses and continue to be. Masonic judges will give preferential treatment to Masonic defendants but usually in smaller cities.

Aleister Crowley was not a 33rd degree by the Scottish Rite. He was also hostile against Masonry - http://freemasonry.bcy.ca/aqc/crowley.html

You should also reconsider your views on 18th century revolutionary groups. Thomas Jefferson supported them and look what they accomplished. They were not "Satanists", many didn't even believe in Satan nor religion.

The FM have been overrun and infected by the Illuminati

I wouldn't recommend giving them a minute of your time.

Time to INVESTIGATE the investigators of 9/11. PROSECUTE the prosecutors. EXPOSE the cover-up.

The illuminati

perverted freemasonry. They been doing it for years now. But they are not really called the illuminati. That was just made up. We actually don't know what they call them selves. We just gave them a name.

High Power Elite who hide in the shadows is the illuminati.

what is the Illuminati and

what is the Illuminati and how do you KNOW Masonry has been "run over by it."?

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

sharkhearted's picture

I dunno. The burden of proof is on you, not me.

You tell me.

What is the Illuminati?

Seriously, dude. Do you work 24 hours a day to defend what ever you are defending?

I am just asking the question. If you don't, then that's cool, too.

So, you tell me: What secrets are so sacrosanct in freemasonry?

Better yet: Why should there be ANY secrets?

[Ahh...I forget the last president that posed that question...well we all know his history.]

Better yet. Please explain this one world tendency to consolidate people or so called "governments" (you know, those entities that could best be described as "THE POWERS THAT shouldn't BE").

Why do these ridiculous entities even exist? Why are they even here? Are they a joke?

(Uh huh).

In answer to your question: I have no proof, just a hunch (on the existence of the illuminati.

But there is quite a bit of evidence. Not necessarily confirming these RATS for their existence...but at least lighting the candle which causes them to scurry like the cockroaches they are into the corners.

That's all I have to say.

I would invite you to read this book...

Masonry: beyond the light.

The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.

- Calvin Coolidge

Look Before You Leap

Most Masons don't know what that secret society is really about. Think about what JFK said about secret societies. Be careful. Look before you leap. Bill Cooper exposed the Masons and other secret societies in his ancient mysteries series.

Edgar Morgan

Have you been invited? you can't invite yourself.

I was offered a place and I turned it down. The masonry is falling apart at the fringes, it is becoming too much about dues and not enough about network/nepotism.

The reality is you are entering a society of money making, not culture steering. You will be apart of a network of scots and englishmen mostly; christians only, no jews or muslims at the bottom.

You will be doing pagan rituals until you are 40 and will go up to the 33rd degree and you will stop there and unless you join the Scottish Rite and pay even higher dues; otherwise you will not observe the turning of pagan occultism into satanism; even in the rite you will have to work up to national levels to associate with those types.

You will certainly have to be a professional; lawyer, doctor, media, etc., something important. If you are not a professional like the above you are not going to benefit from the networks of masonry in your local area, but you will still have to pay.

If you are a lawyer, you will get special status in the courts through the legalese you develop as a mason but specifically between the masons that set up the local judiciary. Most of your friends will do selfish things, make a ton of money, and thank God for everything. But in reality you are in a cult that runs the local courts and keeps Christians thinking Christ thoughts but acting like devils.

The Cartesian duality is strong with the masonry

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

my understanding

is you have to invite yourself. they do not proseltize. i used to visit a masonic museum (that was fascinating) and chat with the old dudes who ran it. they never once invited me until i asked, only then did they give me the info, what temple to go to etc

You're right, you have to ask someone. But then they have to

send you the the application like an endorser. You have to ask someone who is in, then they have to invite you in; I guess I made that confusing sorry.

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

actually you are

now expected to pursue joining. Due to their rapid decline in numbers, which is great, their current motto is "2B1 Ask1"

If you dont get it- "to be a mason, ask a mason." Also prepare to get half naked and be lead around a room on a rope with only one nipple expose for your initiation ritual. Weird, I know. Even weirder is the raising of Hirram Abiff from the dead, Hiram Abiff is like the Jesus of masonry.

If I ever see a Hirram Abiff zombie walking around, raised from the dead, well lets just say 00 buck shot will send that creature back to the hell it came from.

ahahahaha! that is classic.

You have to ask for sure; my communication skills missed the buck, I meant that you have to be invited by one, you can't go into the lodge, you have to know someone.

also, you are hilarious

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

How many read the entire post, not just the title, AGAIN?

It makes me realize how much sensationalism is really going on here. That's a historical fact that the Church hated masons because they opposed their power structure, supported "hated" theories like we weren't the center of the universe, and in our founding, the separation of church and state and the freedom of religious choice.

Washington was a proud Mason, and I have no doubt what they did, including help start the Revolution and WIN IT, was honorable, and on the right side of history. If you want to know about why or how they could be evil, I suggest reading one of Washington's letters still stored in the Library of Congress. Check it out.

I thought all this Illuminati crap was just that, crap. Until I read that.

Maybe the Illuminati did infiltrate it and change it to something evil, in which case as such a historical treasure, I see it to be up to good men to make it what it once was. Or, perhaps just stay away from it all together. Or, maybe all this sensationalism is just bullshit.

I'm staying objective here. After all, Ron Paul doesn't want to defend the U.S. at all, wants us all on drugs, is a huge racist, doesn't understand anything about the most important financial institution we have (FED, couldn't ever do anything good in congress or get anything done and hates poor people. See what I mean? That's all the perception of the uninformed. So, maybe a little objectivity could go a long way here.

They did infiltrate it in

They did infiltrate it in Europe but they were skeptics. This was short lived but if anything they changed it to something more secular than occult.

Join and help CHIP all the kiddies

Masons are leading the way in fingerprinting and gathering DNA for all the children.

It's called the Tennessee Masonic Child Identification Program (TN CHIP).

Implanted RFID chips next?

I don't have any opinion. Heck, it's your life and feelings...

I don't have any opinion. Heck, it's your life and feelings...

I do have a question burning my lips, though :

I've always believed (maybe incorrectly?) that freemasons were especially interested in maintaining a significant role for their privacy (for whatever they do collectively or individually, which I have no clue about, nor am I really interested to know...)

So, my question is :

I really wonder how the views of dear Daddy/Boss/King/Emperor ObaMARX and his NSA minions, on privacy, can work out for freemasons?!

"Cyril" pronounced "see real". I code stuff.

I've thought the same

I value that privacy now more than ever.

Ahh yes, privacy..

Are you willing to ignore the crimes and perversions of your brothers to maintain your own 'privacy" ?
Fraternal orders have an Achilles, always defended by 'privacy".

Some men are born individuals, some born collectivist. The key is to be someone you love and understand, PL

was not about privacy. He wanted the word to be spread.
