Who To Trust?Submitted by Misfit4Peace on Sun, 08/11/2013 - 05:52
I do NOT trust the police. I do NOT trust Child NAZI Services. I trust very few people. I do not have the money to hire a lawyer. I have no idea where to turn. I need ideas people. Heres why:
I have 2 grandsons. The oldest is 6 years old. The youngest is almost 20 months. I have learned...and it was confirmed by the police..my soon to be ex son in law is leaving the kids alone while he goes to his probation meetings, and for other things. A neighbor of his called the cops on him. Because his 11 year old niece was there the last time (and only time the cops where called) he was just given a warning.
My daughter, who has to work, leaves the kids with him (and his parents..knowing his mom is bi-polar and off her meds...his dad who puts up with all this crap..or his grandmother who 'forgets' sometimes...btw the soon to be ex..lives at home)
My oldest grandson tells us things time to time, but refuses to tell him momma..he said [to me only] because the bad men [cops] will take his daddy away if he doesnt keep his mouth shut. [When the cops arrested the damn idiot a year ++ ago..it was done in front of the kids..and now my oldest grandson is scared to death of them]
NC does not have Grandparent Rights. I have contacted many grandparent groups, and been told they refuse to help because we are not fighting for rights. I have spoken to a few lawyers in the past who told me we'd never win, and it would cost 20K to even go to court. [We dont even have an extra 20 bucks much less 20k]
We live an hour away from our grandkids, in a different county. We see them about every 2 weeks..I make her bring them here because going up there would be a bad mistake for us...I have a temper..a bad one..and when it comes to those babies..grrr..if your a grandparent..you get the idea.
If Child Protective Services where to step in...the kids would go to his family to keep them in their home county...[remember..his mom is bi-polar..and other things..his sister is just as bad..she knows whats going on and thinks its all ok] because we dont live up there. We cant move up there because it would mean an 80+ mile trip one way for my husband to get to work..he already works 12 to 14 hours a day..and between his age..and our cars age..we just cant.
I would love to find a cop I could trust..But where in the hell do you find one?
I just dont know what to do. If the systems gets a hold of my grandkids..Im worried they'll be hurt, killed, drugged up by the state, you name it..its crossed my mind.
My daughter refuses to listen to reason on this..shes still at that thinks she knows everything stage..
No grief from anyone over this please. Im stressed to the max as it is.
