Having been around since 44 when this book was written, and having lived through 1984, it is still difficult to consider that this dark future is possible! However, the realization that the possible is now probable, is overwhelming. Makes me consider that if the Russians were really our friends, they would send two tiny little nukes to DC and the UN in NYC.

Now watch the thought police come after me. I'm about as dangerous as my dead grandmother.
