Fox Reporting: "Why doesn't he just admit blaming the U.S. for 9/11?"
Submitted by tpb2 on Fri, 10/05/2007 - 21:26*NOTE THIS IS NOT MY OPINION*
This is what John Gibson has said. I am passing on the message. Do not fight amongst other RP supporters as some of you are doing. Take it up with Fox news not each other. I am the messenger please understand!
"9/11 truthers and Ron Paul. The 9/11 truthers evidently raised millions for Ron Paul. Why doesn't he just admit that he's with them, blaming the U.S. government for the 9/11 attacks?"
By John Gibson- COMPLAIN TO HIM, PLEASE!

This is such a bullshit post....
obviously posts like this are only meant to stir up inner fighting among Paul supporters....
The man has stated his position on this...so anyone who desires an answer needs only "youtube" it and hear it from the horses mouth.
While everyone on this site has different reasons for supporting Dr. Paul...we all unite in the one true reason...BECAUSE WE BELIEVE IN THIS MAN!!!
After he gets elected we will be able to break into our fractions and pursue our own individual causes.....because that is what this man fights for...to give us the oppertunity to BE individuals!!!!
Let us not be divided...now is the time to become one united force....
You obviously MISUNDERSTAND!
I am passing on what a MSM reporter has said. I am not posing any question because I already know the answer.
DON'T BRING UP 9/11 like a
DON'T BRING UP 9/11 like a riot of lunatics! That is not his job (his job is hard enough), that is Our job. Our job is to fill up the halls of justice when the need for a justice system becomes necessary again. It is most likely Our job to become the sleuths and private eyes, artists and experts. 'Humans' in an age when the very idea of Privacy must be redefined.
Seriously though- Ron Paul is speaking a message that transcends 9/11 and touches the core of many major issues of faulty idealism and desperate individualism. If 9/11 was inside job, then that's awful, you should help heal that wound. But what if he has been fighting something much, much bigger than that. Wouldn't it be wiser to support him in a more respectful way? Or, as soldier would say; more strategic?
Because he doesn't believe that, period.
He has stated his position very clearly several times -- that he believes it happened by "incompetence" and even "negligence" on the part of the Bush administration.
The fact that you or many other may (or may not) think or believe that the Bush administration (or some shadow group of PNAC neocons or whoever) somehow conspired to do this...
Does NOT mean that Dr. Paul has to somehow "go along with" what you think or believe.
If you haven't noticed, the man pretty much SAYS exactly what HE thinks and what HE believes. One would think that THAT kind of integrity is a major reason people support him...
So why exactly are you attempting to put *your words* and *your beliefs* in his mouth?
BTW, I happen to disagree with Dr. Paul on a number of issues (for example, I think his stated desire to amend the constitution to end "birthright citizenship" would be extremely problematic and lead to severe UNintended consequences -- it would open the door to the Gummint later adding OTHER disqualifications and exclusions) -- but I understand HIS position and support him anyway (once he is elected, I can choose to "fight" or "persuade" him on that particular bridge -- when and if it is crossed.) Yet I would never try to specifically put MY position into his mouth.
Don't kill the messenger!
I hope by "YOU" you are referring to John Gibson, the Fox reporter, because I am an incredibly strong supporter of Ron Paul and I am as outraged by this as anybody.
excellent
Exactly.

Because it wasn't our fault
He doesn't admit to blaming the U.S. for 9/11 because he doesn't believe it's our fault, and he has said so. You see, the U.S. is US, people, you and me and the rest of us. 9/11 was caused by the policies of a few who have been nation-building and interfering in foreign countries militarily for decades. THAT's what caused 9/11, and he does say so. As far as the inside job theory goes, it's still just that, a theory, and until it's proven, he'd be stupid to say that he subscribed to it, and stupid he is not. He HAS said that he doesn't believe everything that government concludes when they investigate, and that further investigation is warranted. That's really all any of us can hope. Part of what make so many people believe that it's an inside job is just BECAUSE it wasn't investigated thoroughly enough. But saying that is hasn't been investigated thoroughly enough doesn't prove it's an inside job. That's part of the genius of a lack of investigation. It makes people who say that a lack of investigation means it's an inside job sound crazy because there's no proof. It's the kind of thing you can do when you're in charge. So let's get our guy in charge.

Why paint a target on your own back?
Because he's not suicidal. Why paint a target on your own back?
If it was found that the majority of Ron Paul's supporters believed that 9/11 was an inside job, how would that play with the majority of the voters still hooked up to the MSM spin machine? His opponents would label him a nutcase and the media would agree - happy to knife RP in the back - as their paymasters commanded.
Sorry, I don't buy it.
Look, I love everything that Ron Paul is about, including the inclusiveness of his campaign-and I've felt the same way since long before 9/11. Frankly, I don't buy the inside job thing, there are simply too many variables. Not only that, but Herr bin Laden and co. had ample reason to wish to take action agianst us-look at the unending bombing, strafing, economic sanctions, UN enforcement and support of dictators and thugs and outright assistance to vile people perpertrated by Pappa Bush and Comrade Clinton the First in the name of "peace" gave them plenty of recruiting swag and generated sufficient hatred to make an attack such as this unsurprizing.
That being said, the government certainly has taken advantage of the aftermath, as we all know, and I'll admit that the thought of an attack may not have terrified them as much as they let on-but to go from there to outright involvement is not a step I'mm willing to take. It's not as though the attack was all that complex, really-bunch of guys with will and a carpet knife-why would you think the people who've suffered our UN "peace" not be willing to strike back?
I will agree, though, that the government is so large, so pervasive, and so bereft of a moral center, that it COULD have attempted this thing-and that, friends, is a thing that we cannot permit any longer.
Thanks

Fox will be made a fool of
Fox will be made a fool of if Ron Paul is elected. They somehow think they are the moral intellect of society(delusional). Ron Paul has already answered this question: They are attracted to him. He's not pro war if he goes on CNN is he? Because CNN is pro war.
Real simple, if he admitted
Real simple, if he admitted that he thought 9/11 was an inside job the BLOWBACK would be devastating. He has stated that he thinks a new investigation is warrented and I would bet when he is President he will instigate a new investigation.

Screeeeeech!
They are just throwing labels around, crazy uncle was the old one until his recent 3Q success that news outlets got to see a calm and VERY knowledgeable future president...
They are trying Mr. Magoo (not sticking) and Tin Foil Hat wearer... since they can't attack his record or his policies (at least from a conservative point of view, Ron Paul is the Conservatus Maximus and if Thomas Jefferson and Ronald Reagen were alive they would vote for him)
RON PAUL HAS MR.GIBSON !!!!
Blamed the United States of America government policy in Foreign affairs as the reason 911 happened.
Now my question to John Gibson and all those who do not believe this read the 911 Commission report, you hailed so much about after it came out.
I don't know about how all you others feel but have you ever noticed when the ratings of these neo-cons start falling then they bring Ron Paul into there news stories why? Because the RON PAUL REVOLUTION IS GOING TO WIN AND WIN BIG.
We handed out over 200 slim jims today and one lady took 50 to give to people who USE to be for the war and within weeks they have been searching for a candidate for President they can trust and we said nobody but RON PAUL !!!!!
We all need to keep pounding the pavement because there are a lot of very peed off people out there and they need to hear the name of RON PAUL !!!

Another loser: John Gibson.
fox news sucks
I think this is more philosophical a question than anything; it is not he doesn't or can not admit it, but what happens if he does? The media will make a field day of this if he ever did say, "yea, 9//11 was an inside job." What had been gained by now will be lost. Also, why would Fox News even make such an association, when they clearly can not or would not know the dynamics of the beliefs of everyone donating to Dr. Paul. This obviously is more subliminal than most will look into. Word association is very powerful. Also, just reading the short sentence makes me sick; is this what media reporting has turned into?
Good question
.
But there is an easy answer. Many would marginalize Ron Paul more than he is now. He would be branded a kook, a nut, and worse. To the vast majority of the media, scientific evidence is irrelevant: they have the story and if they dare mention even "controlled demolition" in any credible way, all hell would break loose. That's the system, unfortunately.
Ron Paul is on very thin ice as it is now. To call for an end to the IRS, the FED, the National ID card is scary enough to many people. He may believe - after a look at the compelling evidence by Dr. Jones and others - that the WTC came down by explosives. But he wouldn't dare say it while running for office. If he did, he would be sunk. Pronto.
You may call it hypocritical. You might be right. But let him call for a 911 investigation and say what he thinks after he's in the Oval office. That would be a swell time.
Lots of people give conspiracy theories a bad name. They forget that our Republic was founded with a conspiracy. Pretty good one too.
.
Then they fight you; Then you win.
Looks like Ron Paul has moved into the "then they fight you" stage of Ghandi Ingore you, laugh at you, fight you, you win strategy.
hey he listed us as winners
What's the problem? :-)
He can be snarky all he wants but that $5M is really tough to put in the "loser" column....
