Bevin has a long and hard battle ahead

He will have to battle many Koopa Troopas and collect lots of coins, before he can defeat the King of the Koopas.

Even if he wins, all he will get is:
"Thank you, Matt! But princess Liberty is in another castle."

“With laws shall our land be built up, but with lawlessness laid waste.”

allegory - ˈalɪg(ə)ri/ - noun - 1. a story, poem, or picture which can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one.

It is ironic (but a good political move)...

... that Matt Bevin is supporting Rand Paul, and contrasting Paul with Mitch McConnell, even though Paul has publicly endorsed McConnell for reelection. I suspect that Sen. Paul will not "give one penny more" to McConnell than he has to...

A Constitutional, Christian conservative who voted for Ron and stands with Rand

Rand

has publicly stated that he won't be getting involved in any incumbent races. I assume that means McConnell as well, which I think is a goo idea

He'll walk the line and play both sides as much as possible

That's the name of the game in politics.

Ron was a master at it, the way he'd earmark bills to death with pork, then vote against them, knowing they'd pass anyway. Nothing against Ron - that is just how the game is played.

But Rand thinks Mitch is his ticket to the White House.

I personally wouldn't trust Mitch further than I could throw him. And who knows, maybe they implanted Benton into McConnell's camp to destroy his campaign, and win it for the tea party.

Politics is a crazy business.

But you're right - Bevin is smart. This will be a fun, interesting and educational campaign to watch.

Rand probably doesn't want any part of it, but it is ironic that The Tea Party Went to Washington, and once it got there sided with the establishment. That's just a preview of what we'll see the closer Rand gets to the White House.

The Daily Paul continues to exist only with your support. Please contribute to the the DP's Summer 2014 Fundraiser.
