Holy Crap! Ron Paul polls 12% in GEORGIA, Romney at 16%! BEATABLE!

0 votes

Hey guys, Ron Paul is beating Giuliani in Georgia (Ron 12%, Giuliani 11%)

But get this, Romney is only at 16% in Georgia!

That's within reach of Ron Paul! (and by the way, I am pleasantly suprised Ron Paul is finally polling double digits in a state with a higher populace)

We know that Giuliani is a has been by now, but can you imagine the headlines if ROMNEY was beat by Ron Paul in ANY STATE?

Oh, a link you say?

UPDATE:

I'm getting the impression from this thread that people don't think this poll is real. So here's another link to the Rammussen poll:

bumping this post as it is a

bumping this post as it is a good post with good intensions, thanks to the poster of this thread, we need good news all the time. I don't know why someone would want to flag good news of any type for Ron Paul.

Go Ron Paul !!!!!

I know here in Gwinnett County we are working hard

The meetup here is pretty amazing, and Ike Hall the state coordinator has been doing a super job.

GA's population

Actually Ga has about 8 million in population....

GA has 9,363,941, not 4.5 or 8 million

Whoops! You know what I did?

I googled it and didn't realize the figure they gave me was for the country of Georgia (4.5 mil).

The US Census as of 2006 estimates:

9,363,941 pop for GA

Yo

Louisiana has 105 delegates! Wonder now why they won't release the results? lol

The whisper thing is already

The whisper thing is already on Rolling Stone. Keep pushing it out there. I get a feeling this whisper thing has the potential to make big headlines. Romney is going down.

plus, GA is an open primary

and these polls were probably done before Thompson dropped out.

What's not reflected here are the independents and the thompson folks who are planning to vote for Ron Paul. If you include them, chances are that the true percentage is actually higher.

And about huckabee... he may drop out after FL, but it's unlikely. I have a feeling he'll stick around till super tuesday just to keep the evangelicals from going to RP.

If huck takes GA, it's okay because this would prevent mccain and romney from pulling away from the pack.

If Ron Paul ties with mccain or romney it is going to be very good.

and guiliani? while i have a feeling he'll be out after florida (anyone watch the debate last night and get the feeling rudy was getting the kiss of death?), it's actually good if he ends up sticking around. He waters down the field and his voters would probably switch to romney or mccain anyway. Plus, it always feels so good to beat him.

Getting some of that Thompson southern vote!

Getting some of that Thompson southern vote!

Good work!

I'm in GA and doing my part.

I'm in GA and doing my part. I even have a damn yard sign in the back window of my car (easier to read from a hundred yards away than a bumper sticker). I figured the advertising is well worth any ticket I may receive.

another reason to canvass

go to it

This is great news!

I'm gonna call my uncle in GA and try to win him over.

The really sad thing about this

Huck is leading in Georgia. This makes me ashamed of Georgia. For months I've been trying to tell people here in GA about Huckabee's inconsistencies.

I really hate to see the least qualified candidate in first place here with McCain close behind.

I really hope Ron Paul can come in 3rd and beat Romney.

Have you been canvassing???

Have you been canvassing???

Yes.

I am very limited due to health (or lack of health) reasons but I didn't let that stop me from becoming a precinct leader. I've composed an original letter, and have done a mass mailing of that letter and slimjims to my precinct . I also helped another precinct with their canvassing.

Does that answer your question?

Yes.

Sorry double post

Yes.

Sorry double post

Awesome!!

Way to go... You can probably vouch for the fact that, at least in my case, EVERYONE here is undecided. I think that canvassing will make a difference here in Statesboro.

We're just getting started down here!!

Floridians!!!! If you are die hard get up here next weekend!!! We can take Georgia!! I know it!!!

BUMP--just for...

....YOU "saul4paul2"

Check out Saul4paul2 image

I don't like calling people the 'T' word, so just click on Saul4Paul2 and view the picture. My daughter has a 'T' just like it!

Hah

is this saul4paul2 really a Ron Paul supporter?

Let me tell you...

...I'm a foot soldier for Dr. Paul here in Georgia and the support is becoming quite strong across the board.

A visit here by the man himself would be so beneficial as everything else is timing out just right for a "head turning" finish in the peach state.

RALLY THE TROOPS!

GEORGIAN'S FOR RON PAUL!!

PRESIDENT 2008!!!!

Hell yeah!

There..I just added another link

Ok, why am I the only one impressed that Ron Paul is double digit polling in GA within reach of Romney?

What's wrong with you people?! lol

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elec...

Why aren't more people impressed?

Because of the "boy who cried wolf" syndrome. RP was suppose to win Louisiana. His poll numbers were suppose to be low because of the lack of land lines with young voters. We've had our hearts broken many times (and those of use who are life-long libertarians have been experiencing this for years) so it's tough to come back with anything but skepticism.

He already has ...

he beat Romney in Louisianna

TheKingIsComing

Yup, beat Romney in Lousiana

Yup, beat Romney in Lousiana and beat McCain in Nevada. Guess what? The MSM said nothing. Anyway, still good news that he's polling in double digits in Georgia. He's up to 6% in the latest Florida poll from 4%, so any movement upward is good.

A couple of things about GA PEOPLE! 72 DELEGATES!

First off, Nevada wasn't campaigned by anyone BUT Romney and Paul.

Second, Ron Paul wasn't a remotely close second in NV. He was almost a close third.

Third, Louisiana has not had its primary yet. Just some sort of weird caucus for part of the delegates that go to the STATE, not the NATIONAL convention. A big difference.

I'm not taking away from Ron Paul, but at least lets acknowledge the reality of those wins.

Georgia is different because

NV population is 2.5 million
GA population is 4.5 million

Georgia has 72 delegates in its primary!!!!

72 DELEGATES!! Add Florida AND NH together and GA still has more delegates!

Iowa = 40 delegates
NH = 12 delegates
MI = 30 delegates
NV 34 delegates
FL = 57 delegates
GA = 74 DELEGATES!!!!!!!!

Get it now?

Are you guys doubting the poll?

Wait, are you guys doubting my link to the Georgia poll?

Here is another link to a different web site!
