Raise your hand if you are involved in the political processSubmitted by P. Nicholson on Fri, 08/16/2013 - 19:08
Have you joined your local GOP?
Would you bring a few friends to the first meeting?
If you had the power to build a coalition, would you?
I understand that things are different all over the country. At the same time, I find it absurd that so few govern so many. Often in cahoots with each other and using their power to push their agenda, I see our rights as a commodity traded without the consent of the governed.
I am in Columbus, Ohio. The GOP sends me emails asking me to spend $100 to attend a dinner. I can barely pay my bills and there is no way I am spending $100 to listen to a few brainless zombies make empty promises and dull speeches. I am smarter than that. My influence will be paid with sweat.
The only way we will overcome these tools is by outnumbering them. Being more productive. Demanding principle. Allegiance to the rule of law. These are the issues that inspire the best in people and create the best response.
I wish more than anything that someone would emerge in my district to challenge the current retard congresswoman. I can barely make it through half of a speech. Her heart is in the right place but her head is so buried in her ass that a fart can't get out. She is a good woman but lacks the balls and leadership it takes to get things done.
We are the grassroots. We are the power that determines elections. We are the voice of the people because we are the people.
If you are not involved at the local level, then shame on you. Period. We have a winning platform and leadership that is winning. Either get involved or STFU.
We have the power to win. We must use this advantage in the 14 election to broaden our base and silence Rove.
Lee Atwater was a genius the same as Nikola Tesla. Other people gained from their minds.
Raise your fkn hand if you are on board. Seriously. Either get involved locally or quit bitching.
Action is the cure for American apathy. Inaction is why we have a clueless leader that loves to pass out money and never be held accountable for anything. The worst leadership I have ever witnessed in my life.
