Gary Johnson endorses Robert Sarvis for Governor of Virginia

BREAKING: Gov. Gary Johnson, 2012 Libertarian Party presidential nominee has endorsed Robert Sarvis for governor of Virginia:

“Robert Sarvis is the only candidate in this year’s most-watched and most negative election who offers a relentlessly positive libertarian vision for Virginia that’s both ‘Open-minded and Open for Business.’ Be Libertarian with me, Virginia, in 2013 and vote for Robert Sarvis for Governor.”

Gary Who?

Oh, you mean the republican /Libertarian/ blank space person wanting to be relevant.

The Libertarian NON-Relevant party! OH! That Gary Johnson!

Sounded Good, but...

Sounded like a good guy... until he said he'd push Sodomite "marriage" laws, just like Gary Johnson.

Ken Cuccinelli stands for

Ken Cuccinelli stands for States rights, he also enforced the ballot access law, which resulted in only Ron Paul and Mitt Romney being on the ballot.

Ken would be the best Governor in the country in my opinion, why does the LP love to go up against Paleo Conservatives?

Agreed. I strongly support

Agreed. I strongly support Ken and have donated to his campaign. He is both electable and very pro-liberty. Go with him and EW Jackson for Lt. Governor!

States Rights = Statist

So Ken is a Statist, who would anyone here vote for him?

If I lived in Virginia...

Ken Cuccinelli would have my vote. Ron Paul endorsed his 2009 run for Attorney General. He is, IMO, the best choice for Virginia. If they give control of the executive positions and legislature to Democrats, their state would start to resemble Maryland, and that could never be good.

He would probabally have mine too

since there are so few candidates who consider liberty.

I've been getting a lot of "you're a statist" posts recently, and I'm trying to figure out how anyone running for office couldn't be on some level..

Are you sure you're not

Are you sure you're not confusing the term a "statist" with a "statesman" ?

Ron Paul=Statesman
McCain=Statist

I could be after all

Ron Paul = statesman - statist
McCain = Neocon = globalist

Speaking for myself, if I

Speaking for myself, if I lived in Virginia I would Vote for him because he stands for Virginians Right to govern themselves.

I appreciate that

Seems to me that "statist" is taking a whole new meaning. It was once a principle employed by liberals to control their "states" by force.. but now it seems to be morphing into anyone who empowers the state economically, military.

When I pook up the opposite, it is anarchism.. Libertarianism.. as if there is no need for a state.. as if there is no government at all.. so this is not making sense to me.. Seems this new changed happened with the Liberty Movement in 09..

My understanding of the word

My understanding of the word "statism" as used by liberty people is, people who think the Government is the answer to most or all problems. (whether the government is, Global, Federal, State, or Local, it doesn't matter).

States Rights, means the Right of the people in these individual united States on this continent, to govern themselves, without being shoved around by anyone else.

TY (((SJ)))

Since many of us, speaking as a rEVOLutionary, supported Ron Paul because SMALLER GOVERNMENT was a campaign issue we all got behind, then I don't see anyone who supports Ron Paul as a, "Statist".

In this prspective, the "statist" insult, is a division attempt to disenfrancise Ron Paul from his message, and steal it for a Liberty Movement from a USA, to a UNA (United Nations Agenda).

Doesn't that make GJ a statist?

Why would virginia need a governor?

don't be an idiot and you

don't be an idiot and you know you are being one .

Ron Paul 2016

Then I am a sincere idiot

If you can't teach me, that what are you, a bully?

I don't know. If you know say what you know. If you don't know, calling me an idiot doesn't make you appear smart.

We don't. We need an

We don't. We need an ungovernor.

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

so you want to ungovernor

so you want to ungovernor because gary endorses a gov, makes sense/s

Ron Paul 2016

Pretty simple concept. We

Pretty simple concept. We want somebody to occupy the seat and, at worst, do nothing, at best, tear down existing government.

An "un"governor.

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

Simple minded concept

So you're going to pay someone to occupy a house to tear it down?

Yes Granger, I'm willing to

Yes Granger, I'm willing to pay for a governor who would reduce government.

Are you sure you're a Ron Paul supporter?

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

You said eliminate not reduce

I'm sure I did far more for Ron Paul's presidential campaigns than you did. I'm sure as an elected, seated GOP Member (THANKs RON!) I'm doing more for restoring the Republic than you are in a liberty Movement from the USA to a UNA (United Nations Agenda).

Naw, you're not itchin' for a

Naw, you're not itchin' for a fight.

I'd hate to run into you when you are! ;-)

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

So what's GJ doing endorcing anyone for Gov?

And how could anyone who opposes statists support GJ?

really granger? are you

really granger? are you playing the clown today? you are starting to sound like one of those dinosaurs in the gop, don't be a fossil.

Ron Paul 2016

More insults

How about putting up and answering the question?

Somebody's just itchin' for a

Somebody's just itchin' for a fight today. ;-)

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

Never crossed my mind

I've been reading the "statist: insults to Ron Paul supporters and thought maybe I should find out what the insults were about, since Ron Paul campaigned for smaller government, not NO government. I don't believe anyone who suppoorts Ron Paul is a statist, but I do believe many who are Liberty Movmenters are globalists.
