This Is Why I Want Justin Amash To Run For President

First, because Justin Amash is on the Horizon :-P

Justin has been vetted, and is true to what we seek.

Justin is young, and will pull the youth vote, as well as the true conservatives who may have lost their way.

Justin appeals to some Democrats, hopefully more as time goes on.

Justin is sincere, you can hear it when he speaks, and see it in his eyes.

Justin does not play games or so-called 'chess'. Justin speaks the truth, educating others, which is what the American people [AND I] need.

Justin is 100% transparent. Justin is the only one who explains each and every vote for others to learn by, and an example for others to follow.

We are hanging by a thread. Republicans may or may not win, considering the socialists who have infiltrated all aspects of our society, including the republican party. 2016 may be moot, as the keys are handed by tptb.

I am ready for r3VOLution Rallies, and having old and new comers enter our party. Freedom has a cost, it is not cheap. Money-bombs, contributions are irrelevant compared to the cost of Freedom, Liberty and changing the hearts and minds of the American people.

Speaking of r3VOLution Rallies, Ron Paul has said, "if you're not having fun, you're not doing it right". r3VOLution Continues..., and it is time to grow it larger. Win or lose, we are known throughout the land.

I have to bump this, Amash is my congressman

He's one of the few good guys in the GOP and they are trying to primary him, shame on the GOP for that

Donate and support

Candidates like Amash at all costs. 21 year old here, donating to liberty candidates across the country.

I really like Amash

but I have given up on looking for solutions from DC.

I'm with Larken Rose. Dr Paul and people like Amash have done great amazing things to bring millions of people this far. Now we just have to take one more step for ourselves. Dr. Paul himself is a volunteerist and the language he has been using as of late sounds much more ancap then minarchist to me.

"Now we just have to take one more step for ourselves."

Let us be the ones who reach out and continue to build and spread the message. I need help, can you please give this a bump?

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

if Palin is jumping on the Ancap train, then I'd be glad to

welcome her. But I am not sure she is quite their yet. I will say that she is sounding a whole lot better then she used to.

I did up vote your post.

Ron Paul / Sara Palin / Judge Napolitano..

Ron Paul, Sara Palin and Judge Napolitano are just about the only people on the national scene that inspire me anymore.
And as we all know, the Repube party has slapped all three of them down.

Thanks, conalmc

This isn't necessarily to support a candidate. The intent is to reach out to her followers and to form a coalition. Along the way, we can help them to understand free markets, the non-aggression principle and other things. Meantime, we can work with them to fully vet some of these people running in 2014 and beyond. I believe that we all want the same things, but somebody needs to extend an open hand.

Rand Paul 2016...Amash 2024

Rand Paul may not be his dad, but he can at least kickstart his views in the presidency. After 8 years of Rand, Amash can come in and finish what Rand started. After Amash, we keep nominating and electing libertarians.

Amash vs Rand

I would hate for 2016 to come down to Justin vs Rand. I would not want to have to choose.

I actually prefer Amash, but his overall appeal I think is less than Rand's. And Justin is somewhat young, so that would hurt Amash's appeal in 2016. I would rather see Amash in 2024.

i share your sentiments, i

i share your sentiments, i like amash, but i wished we were at the stage already where hes had a few more years experience, he seemed a bit nervous during the amash bill, god bless him, offcorse i could be wrong, maybe he was preocupied, and has an abundance of confidence in the chamber of congress, its the only time i remember seing him in congress

I do not share either of your sentiments.

Why not have them on the stage together?

They would both be outstanding in debate. Instead of one good so-called 'crazy' guy against all bad, it would show two that agree and indicate that so-called unity everybody wants. Then those ideas would not seem so crazy after all and people would begin changing their views for the better.

Grow a pair [everybody, not the poster] for a change and bring it on!

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

"Why not have them on the stage together?"

Um, for the obvious reason, it would split the vote and we'd lose.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

in retrospect, i probably

in retrospect, i probably should have made my self clearer, sorry

My shared sentiments was to do with amash's age, or more precisely, his experience, that was what i was refering too, ive not even thought about what you suggested let alone formed an opinion

Yes, indeed!

I would back him 100%!

Edgar Morgan

Saw him talk at the Ron Paul rally last August

At the USF college . Before the Repubic convention in Tampa last year . He did well speaking his mind.

Money talks and dogs bark

I want Dennis Kucinich to run

I want Dennis Kucinich to run for president on the democrat side. His wife Elizabeth would be a Hot first lady.

Can you imagine... Gary

Can you imagine... Gary Johnson runs as a Libertarian, Ventura runs as an Independent, Dennis runs as a democrat with Amash/Rand running as a republican and to top it all off a little bit of Adam Kokesh in whatever party he decides to run in? LOL

And please don't anyone run in here and tell me that's bad because it'll take votes away from Rand.. I'm not voting for him anyway. It would be a dream come true. Well.... Ron and Judge Nap running would be a dream come true or a complete ban of the US government would be with voluntaryism, but for now that would do it for me.

The philosophical debates that it would spark... Wow.

He would have my vote

I think he is the one to watch. He would have my vote if he could get himself in that position (that assumes that both sides of the two party system are not bought and paid for of course).

We need more support for the "other" parties:

i must admit, in my personal

i must admit, in my personal short list, he definatly has potential, hes not afraid to communicate directly with those he represents using the technology that is changing the scope of how we do thing.......if it were not fought every inch by those that would stand to lose their obsolete "tools", if it were to happen

Put it this way, not even rand has made that list, im sorry, but that is how it is, to the rand supporters, im still keeping my eyes and ears open, but the recent comments on whistleblowers, has seriously put him down a notch.......I WILL NOT, be changed on the importance of knowing what your government is doing......bradley DID NOT release plans to a nuclear weapon. PERIOD......to mention it, makes me suspicious.......everyone should KNOW this, to bring that importance over the importance of government secrecy makes me worry that rand may not see anything wrong with it, suposition, yes, but a worry none the less.....i understand the importance of that.......i also know the importance of KNOWING WHAT YOUR GOVERNMENT IS DOING, .....FACTS AND TRUTH

Sorry, i got worked up there a little, probably should have posted some of that on the other thread instead....

Rand described Snowden as a

Rand described Snowden as a civil disobedient, comparing him to Martin Luther King. Rand's office also got Snowden's father in contact with their lawyer, Bruce Fein.

I'd vote for Amash over Rand.

I'd vote for Amash over Rand. Although it'd be for nothing.. The elections are rigged and the person "they" want is the one that will win.

In which universe does Amash

In which universe does Amash run against Rand?

This scenario is impossible.

I think he means

he would prefer to vote for Amash for President over voting for Rand.

But the scenario isn't even impossible, he (Amash) just has to decide to run in 2016 and they will face each other in the primary.

Rand and Amash are remarkably

Rand and Amash are remarkably close political allies and personal friends.

Amash harbors no distaste towards Rand.

^^This Thank you.

Thank you.

Not everyone

Not everyone is perfect, or a Ron Paul. Personally, I look for someone that I agree with on most everything, but that obviously speaks from the heart and can't be bribed. The ones that make that list for me, is Justin Amash, Jessie Ventura, Gary Johnson, Thomas Massie, and Judge Napolitano. I pray one of them runs for president, because I really do struggle to support Rand, only because I just can't vote for someone, and hope that they are just playing a goo game and do the right thing when they're in office. I'm sure the Rand Paul supporters will downvote me, and I understand why, but they need to understand that I don't hate Rand, he just isn't in that top list that I mentioned, but he would be next.

What exactly do you think is

What exactly do you think is wrong with Rand?
