Obama does not 'at this point' support changes to marijuana laws

Views about the use of marijuana are changing, but President Obama 's official position has not changed, the White House said Wednesday.

"The president does not at this point support a change in the law," principal deputy press secretary Josh Earnest said. His response came after the second day in a row of questions about Obama's views, in light of the changed views of Sanjay Gupta, the CNN reporter and one-time candidate for surgeon general who recently said he no longer opposes marijuana use.
