NASDAQ Trading Halted Since Around Noon

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-08-22/almost-everything-h...

CNBC is going ballistic, mad that there's been no information as to what's going on. It's been a low volume trading day and the DOW has been up. But some sort of "computer error" has lead NASDAQ to halt trading now for several hours. Does anyone remember the story yesterday about the Presidential meeting?

It's fascinating to me that they'd have such problems on a low volume day. I think the problem is this - no buyers on such low volume so some NASDAQ stocks were trying to hit zero again (fat fingers) so they axed it. With high frequency trading, who knows.

USA Today already giving hints to "Iranian hacktivists"

Someone in another thread already predicted this. "Watch, I bet they blame it on the Iranians."

And they, whoever it was, were right. I'll have to try and find the thread....
