r3VOLution + PalinQuake = A Force To Be Reckoned With

If we can come together we may be able to make a bigger impact. Of course continued vetting would need to occur, that is always a work in progress.

PalinQuake is now defunct, so I would ask members here to reach out to Sarah's folks on fb, twitter, etc. and make new acquaintances.

Combined, this r3VOLution would give the statists a Quake they won't forget.

We need to come together.

Speaking for myself, I am not interested in contributing frn's to her pac. Rather, I am interested in forming a coalition among our people. But here is a video that seems to be decently done, I am certain that talented grassroots can do much, much better and get them posted on youtube:

(((EDITED))) to include my response below:

You may as well hole up and quit altogether.

You people crack me up. We, who promote Ron Paul, who is accused of being an isolationist. There is a difference between isolationist and non-interventionist.

If the members here choose to be isolationist, so be it. I will do this on my own.

fyi: I have been attending Christian groups. It has been very difficult and tiring, but I have broken through. Anything is possible and attainable if [WHEN] you put forth the work.

Be careful about embracing Sarah directly...

I am all for widening the liberty base at every opportunity. Sarah's supporters may very well be amiable to the message but, as for Sarah, buying into to her brand personally is a bad idea;
You all need to know Palin has a Solyndra and worse. She pushed for the commitment of $500 million of Alaska Money for the boondoggle called AGIA. Look it up. Ask Ralph Samuels (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZzJiqhje-E), Mike Hawker, or Mike Chenault. History has proved them all right and Palin wrong, very wrong, while Alaskans are out a cool 500M. We are not talking about just loan guarantees here.... This was an out right business deal promoted between the State of AK and Trans-Canada Corp. This is a death nail in any election for her. She could not be elected in Alaska again that is for sure. But watch out Arizona she is establishing residency. Want to bet she runs for McCain's current seat to join Dan Quayle's punk porn publishing kid as a neocon duo? You heard it here first.

She may act folksy and conservative on reality tv but, she is not qualified to be much more than a cheerleader. Sorry folks, I like Sarah personally too (raised money for her gov race, you would have too if you knew her predecessor)...

Don't get fooled that she is an fiscal conservative and a deep thinker of any kind. The AGIA fiasco is proof positive she has no real base economic principles.

She has been going to the neocon school since 2008 to learn about the world she was not prepared to enter when thrust on the scene back then. Let's see how she emerges from that corrupt school of thought. I am heartened a bit to see in her face and in her answers to some questions that she is slightly torn between conviction of a true conservative like a Ron Paul and the easy road to a establishment position and a nice paycheck but, I don't put much credence in it.

Mark my words, she will drift with the political wind and right now it is blowing toward us. She should take the check and stick with the other MSM boobs. We should not ever consider electing her again for much more than dog catcher.

In the end one's politics must be based in principle or they can produce no real leadership. Palin still blows in the wind. Ignorance or ambition, I care not which one causes it. AGIA is a big issue that precludes her ever being considered a principled free market conservative.

“Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him better take a closer look at the American Indian.” ― Henry Ford.

As I have stated a few times before,

this effort is not to support Sarah or a particular candidate, but rather to approach her supporters in an attempt to unite forces.

The palinquake is now defunct, but I thought that if we could locate and join wherever it is that they mingle, we could engage in their conversations. Treading cautiously, as ideas about free markets and such are presented..

You're right but your math is

You're right but your math is wrong. Liberty movement plus Palin supporters is't enough. We need to reach out in the other (progressive) direction as well.

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

Freedom's Remnant

That is being done [progressives], but admittedly much more of a challenge.

We have more in common with the Palin folks, understanding that we have differences too, if we in bulk could work together it would be both fun and educational.

Your math is right, but we gotta start somewhere :-)

Visit www.truthdig.com

Visit www.truthdig.com ,Robert Scheer's site. He represents the disaffected left. The ones upset and disgusted with the Manning verdict, the anti-Snowden propaganda and the warmongering coming out of the Domicrat's camp. This view agrees with Ron Paul 75-80% of the time. They still push Obamacare and think big government is good government for solving "social problems", but I've even seen Scheer take on the Fed.

I'm with you

I mentioned doing this back when Palin supporters were posting here trying to win over RP delegates and got blasted for it. I still believe there is a little hope (and I hope it's not just wishful thinking), but the only way we can accomplish our goals is if we can increase our numbers... the biggest challenge I see us having is with the evangelicals.

Ron Paul convert from the Heart of Dixie

This Is Absolutely The Right Move

I can tell you from my own experience in Clark County WA that this is a winning strategy.

During the 2012 primaries, in response to the "Unity" slate (constructed by the WSRP establishment) we formed a county-wide coalition of Paul/Santorum/Gingrich delegates. We won our county convention overwhelmingly, and at the state-convention we had the votes to get 2 Ron Paul delegates (out of the 3 for our county) sent to the national convention.

Following this victory, we formed a coalition and got supporters to run for Republican precinct committee officer (PCO) in 80% of the precincts in the county. We won an outright majority of the PCO positions, and at the county reorg meeting we completely replaced the entire GOP board for Clark County.

After establishing that victory, we began working on many local races, and through hard-work have established strong friendships with many of the "neo-cons" who previously opposed us at the county-convention. They now understand us (and more importantly believe us) when we talk about supporting conservative, constitutional principles. The liberal-moderates in the county are in complete disarray.

At our recent Lincoln-Day dinner, our key speaker was Sheriff Mack, and we raised more money than any other county in the state. We even beat King County (Seattle WA), though we are roughly 1/10th their size.

Recently state-chair Kirby Wilbur resigned, leaving an opening. We decided to run our local director of operations for the position. A guy named Christian Berrigan. He was a Santorum-supporter back during the presidential primary, but now calls himself a "neocon-in-reccovery". He has a genuine chance at winning.

I'm telling you from personal experience (and as a former neo-con who max-donated to Ron Paul), with the help of the tea-party, and the Palin supporters, we can form an unstoppable, conservative, pro-liberty voting block. It is exactly what must happen to reclaim our government. The very thought of such an alliance makes the neo-con/neo-lib establishment quake in their boots. I know because I have personally witnessed the fear in their eyes as they realize the degree to which they find themselves outnumbered.

Join forces, and win.

With results like that

I do not understand the reluctance on this board.

addunham, thank you for that insight, and the results that you guys have produced :-)

I love the bear growl at the end of the vid. LOL

Great vid!

You are right (((PAF))) and I think this is a brave and correct step you've presented on DP, on several fronts, first, it shows you are not living in a box (YouTube) and accepting FORCE feeding, coresion, peer pressure to be a clone in the name of Ron Paul. I appreciate that. It's important to be able to look outside the box and see what's out there, what the message is, how it can work with and for the rEVOLution.

Second, the rEVOLution is a minority in the GOP, the Liberty Movment is a majority on DP. LM has NO candidats, it is not a party, it has NO POWER, just bully tactics and an assortment of YouTube stars that keep the veiwers marginalized in the name of principle. This is NOT a winning statigy, it's self defeatest and by, of and for those who lose elections by choice.

Third, Palin Earthquake is also a minority, a silent minority in the GOP.. they are not fools. They see what we see, the difference being they are more experienced in party.. where rEVOLution is seriously lacking with people who understand the nuts and bolts, ROO, By-Laws, platforms, resolutions, what they mean, how to work them, how to write inniatives, measures, propositions, acts and bills.. how to use and employ lobbiests.. it's a huge learning curve and so many do not know where to begin. Many confuse coaltions as being directions.. we need coalations. We are not supposed to be the NEW DICTATORS, the SUPREME KNOW IT ALLS.. we're not. Ron Paul and Rand worked with Neocons. They make friends, not enemies, they can agree to disagree, lift up what is good, and make what is not good a funny truth without offending (and this is where I have A LOT to learn - I'm slow.. but I will get there).

Finally, I most sincerely believe it is not the masses that need to be concerned with, but rather, it's a matter of finding the few who will rise to the occaision, learn, make allies, do the job, can be counted on.. I don't disagree with anything Sarah Palin said.. and note.. the vid's FIRST THING, she backed Rand Paul.. first thing!

So why wouldn't we back Palin when she is lifting Rand Paul as someone who she, that in the vid, she has people sitting in congress saying, "If not for Sarah, I wouldn't be here". Why would we snub that for people who are nowhere, going nowhere, are seriously confused about Ron Paul's message and who he is.. they can't even see him for who he is, but twist him to make him representative for what THEY believe, and their belief is NOT from experience, but watching some YouTube that made then think, "Uck Yeah!"?

Uck yeah is NOWHERE.

I have several Earthquakers on my committee. We have a good relationship.. we promote many of the same issues, stand for constitutional government.. they are some of my biggest supporters.. so I agree with you, THANK YOU for bringing this issue up and hope you find some of THE FEW who've got more than YouTube nowhereville to agree openly.

Thank You (((( Granger ))))

Though you and I may disagree at times, we are now on the same page! You said it all so eloquently, there is no need for me to reiterate.

I hope that others will read my initial thread post and then go straight to yours :-)

I am thinking that while many on this forum are merely complainers and not doers, this thread may ultimately be moot. I am determined to go through with this effort and on my own if I have to :-)

If the choice were

between Cruz and Rand Paul. This ad kind of shows who she would endorse. Ted Cruz.

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

This effort has nothing to do

with supporting a particular candidate. This is to combine forces, and hopefully over time our message and deep understanding of economic issues will rub off. We can no longer talk among ourselves on this forum and expect to grow our base.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

No and No.

Talk to a Sarah Palin supporter. They deserve Sarah Palin and we don't deserve that.

Sorry, but my experience with Palin supporters has been very bad.

They're like Bush supporters with vaginas.

I had one tell me, "But she's so smart! She was Governor of Alaska!"

And God wept.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

I agree. Simultaneously...

...we should pursue the Gingrich and Obama quakes.

Are you serious?

You're not talking about SARAH Palin? Gimme a break.

UN Treaties, war mongering neocon Sarah Palin?

You'd better spend your time

You'd better spend your time trying to get blood from stones than trying to "convert" the Christian-military complex.

With that attitude

You may as well hole up and quit altogether.

You people crack me up. We, who promote Ron Paul, who is accused of being an isolationist. There is a difference between isolationist and non-interventionist.

Ah, there it is...

"You people"... HA!

If I blindly agree with you, I'm your best pal. If I disagree with a dangerously uninformed person like Sarah Palin, I'm "you people". Haha!

Yep, there it is!

Some of my best friends are 'you people'. So are some of my family, and then the others who I do not care to even associate with.

And of course there is me, myself and I, though we are one and the same.

Anyway, I meant 'you people', simply because I do not understand you people.

lol no worries Velveeta, I fully understand that people, either you or we, are diverse, and that individually we each have our own paths to take :-)

So, have you mulled this idea over? Can we people embark upon this challenge?

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

You may pursue any path or

You may pursue any path or venue available to you. I certainly cannot and will not attempt to stop you. I believe the promotion of people who put religion first over liberty and adherence to constitutionally sound principles is repeating the mistakes of the past.

We have to start somewhere.

Somebody down voted you, so I brought it back up.

Standing for principle is utmost. But so is extending an open hand.

No worries, Velveeta, I have no intention of bowing or compromising. My intent is to welcome and educate, and help those to understand.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Have you noticed

Many old timers who are not very liberal are being downvoted to oblivion?

(( Granger ))

I have noticed strange things over the course on this site. Someday, people will realize that it is not left versus right, but Liberty versus tyranny. If they fail to embrace our message, it is only a matter of time before they themselves are subject to what they promote.

It may seem great and with good intention, but we know where good intentions usually lead.

I hope that you are having a good day, Granger :-)
