Vladimir Putin Speaks Up For Christians But Not Obama

It's a strange world in which we exist, where the Russian president speaks in defense
of Christians, while a person's "rights" to sodomy and abortion are among the most contentious issues in the U.S.

Russia is breaking the chains of Communism while Liberty wraps herself in them. :(

Vladimir Putin Speaks Up For Christians But Not Obama
"The evangelical Christian community that still identifies Russia with communism, Cold War tensions and the brutality of Stalinism is in for a shock if Putin follows through on his comments. They underscore that the world has changed. In the wake of the “war on terror,” the U.S. is no longer seen as a guardian of justice and liberty. Now one of her traditional enemies is poised to defend ideals that America no longer cherishes."

I wish Vladimir Putin was

I wish Vladimir Putin was President of the USA.

Why?

Just because he says a few things that are generally agreeable, doesn't mean he's on anyone's 'side' but his own.

It reminds me of the people who want Nuttyahoo to be President of the U.S. just because he has a kind word to say about America and/or Christians every so often. I don't want either of those tyrants anywhere near our borders...we have enough here as it is.

A signature used to be here!

You're kidding, right?

Oh wait, you're not.

The Priest Who Confronted Stalin

Many surprising things turned up on the Pipeline, but the most unexpected of all was a priest.

Interesting read...

And interesting connection to the Roosevelt Administration.

"As for Father Orlemanski...events in East Europe have taught him that the only freedom of religion tolerated by Communism is freedom to serve as an organ of the state; and that Communist cooperation with any creed is impossible save on terms of overlord and vassal."

Hopefully, the Communists will continue to be marginalized and Russia will continue to be reformed. They have much work to do.

It is not the wonderland being portrayed in recent

moments.

Beautiful people, beautiful land, terrible representation.

Hmmm...

There is a long history of

There is a long history of corruption in Russia. I don't really see any portrayals of it as a "wonderland" and have no illusions.

Hopefully, Putin can fend off the Communists and globalist bankers long enough to facilitate some real reforms. The people seem starved for it.
