Roberts' Decision And Constitutional Mandates

Beck and Lee are discussing a diversionary issue. BOTH are ignorant of the Constitution.

Obamacare originated in the Senate. Within this bill is a clause that states that this bill shall not be construed as a tax. Do you know why this is?
Art I, Sec. 7: All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives

This 'Obamacare' bill was immediately challenged because the 'government' does not have the power to force people to purchase anything.

When Roberts ruled that this WAS a tax, it therefore became an unlawful bill AGAIN, because IT ORIGINATED IN THE SENATE, NOT THE HOUSE.
My only question is this: WHY has this not been pointed out, and this 'law' declared null and void for THIS VERY REASON ALONE?

fireant's picture

It also became unlawful because the court has no authority

to write or re-write legislation.
Roberts clearly knows this, and it is he who should have declared it void and remanded the law back to the legislature. CONgress doesn't have the integrity required to impeach Roberts, which would be the proper recourse, because he is a repub. Whether he was blackmailed or not (it sure seems he may have been), he should be impeached.
Now we are stuck with taxation without representation. It will take someone who suffers the tax to challenge it in court, and that means taking on the IRS.

Undo what Wilson did

It was obvious to me someone got to him

Don't know what it is, but they got to him.
What I find really strange is that it was the Senate's bill that the House passed, and that it was for this reason they said it was a penalty and not a tax because taxing bills can only originate in the House. So with Robert's saying the penalty is a tax, the bill should have automatically been null and void. Of course, after the DOJ argued it was a tax it changed its mind and said it was a penalty because BO et al know the Senate can't pass bills with taxes.

Under the pic from the article it says: "The House of Representatives passed landmark legislation to overhaul the nation's health-care system, approving a Senate bill and a separate package of amendments."

Why aren't the Republicans, like Mike Lee, picking up on this?

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.

The federal executive monitors......

....every single politician and political candidate all the way down to the local dog catcher, same as they monitor you and me.

The federal executive knows every secret, every sin and in a satanic manner uses it for perpetual control.

Was he "blackmailed"? Maybe.

Why do you think the federal executive writes all the big laws now and every one passes without exception? And the Supreme Court upholds them all now, without exception regardless of how outrageous and obviously unconstitutional they are?

No one bats 1000. No one. It's statistically impossible, unless there is an external force acting upon the statistical model.

what evidence ..this is getting stale.what are the

possessors of this bogus news waiting for..do they have a deal in the works to end human suffering???? If after there is real substance that is the time to write ..not before especially based on a radio /tv person..roberts blackmailed ???..well its just incomprehensible for if he was then the entire court was in on it.

If true this says more about the moral constitution (or lack of)

of Chief Justice Roberts than anything else. To make the rest of the country suffer to avoid personal embarrassment is the height of narcissism.

BTW, What's Glen Beck doing

BTW, What's Glen Beck doing with a skull and crossbones woven into his rug? (see: minutes 6:15 - 6:33) the man is wacked!

Check his shirt

He always he has symbols on his shirt.

Glen, what are you saying?

The skull and crossbones seems to superimposed over the British Union Jack with the numbers 17 9- and something.

Is it really? I could have sworn he had symbols that connected with Free masonry. I do see Skulls every now and then. I just assumed it is Skull and Bones.

Glenn is hard for me to trust. I have conservative friends that love this guy though. I sure hope he stays on Team Rand.

Pressure, not blackmail

There is no evidence offered in this video claiming that Roberts was blackmailed. Title of this thread should be changed to something less dramatic like Roberts was politically pressured...

Greenwald has the documents

and Glenn Greenwald has the "proof" that this happened too. This is why they're so aggressive towards Greenwald, his partner, and Snowden.
This is why Snowden left and went into self exhile, he knew they would be coming after him with a vengeance.
That last Greenwald interview, Glenn had a "smirk" on his face when asked if there were more documents to be revealed...
They need a "big time" distractor...expect the U.S. to be at WAR in Syria real soon.

We'll see. Further

Further revelations along this path ought to finally put the alleged constitutionality of Obama's Unaffordable Health Care Act into the proper light. Repeal this sucker NOW and back all of the traitors who supported this unconstitutional monstrosity into the darkest of corners. See, America, the ramifications of allowing unconstitutional spying by the NSA? Even Supreme Court justices can be blackmailed into submission. We'll see. Maybe, Justice Roberts wasn't blackmailed at all. Regardless, the dangers of NSA spying need to be tightly linked to the aforementioned possibility, though, so even your average America can grasp the seriousness of NSA's spying.

Exactly what I have suspected

We just need the hardcore evidence.

Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)
