Ted Cruz - The Controlled Opposition: How Another Foreign National Plans to be President of the United States

http://youtu.be/pa2FU69HSag
This is the "TEA Party Conservative" Ted Cruz plan. While pounding the drum that he is opposed to Amnesty and wants a Secure Border, Ted hopes you don't hear the next two amendments he wants to add to Senate Bill 744. Ted wants to more than double immigration to this country at a time when almost half of working age Americans are out of work.

If that's isn't enough, he wants to increase the H1B visa FIVE HUNDRED PERCENT. These are the visas for highly skilled workers, you know, the jobs you send your kids to college for so they can get one of those good jobs. But Ted Cruz wants those jobs to go to foreigners, not Americans.

And if that isn't enough, Ted Cruz wants to DOUBLE the general worker visa. If you can't afford to send your kids to college, don't worry, Ted has a plan to keep them at home too - he'll make sure any job they could get also goes to foreigners. This is an Act of War Against America and the very definition of Treason in the US Constitution. This is Ted's amendments in pertinent part:

Cruz 1324: Green Card (LPR) reform to modernize, streamline and expand legal immigration

Provisions of his amendment include:

· Doubling the overall worldwide green card caps from 675,000 visas per year to 1.35 million per year (not including refugees and asylees): [This is in addition to the 1 million immigrants that come here every year without a work related visa.]

o Family-based green cards: Creates a single family-based visa category that treats all immigrant families equally by redefining “immediate relatives” as “spouses, minor children, and parents of citizens or LPRs.”

Cruz 1325: Increase high-skilled temporary worker visas (H-1B visas) five-fold

This amendment would increase the H-1B cap from 65,000 to 325,000. It would also help America retain the people it educates by authorizing dual-intent student visas and address the need for high-skilled labor by creating a block grant to promote domestic high-skilled workers. [Why are we educating foreigners while our own citizens drown in student debt?]

Cruz 1326: Combines Cruz 1324 and Cruz 1325. Implements Green Card reform to streamline and expand legal immigration and increases high-skilled temporary worker visas five fold. [These are for the good jobs Americans go to college to get, only to find companies hiring foreign nationals rather than them, and more often than not turn out to be permanent positions.]

I would like to see us

I would like to see us dramatically increase our legal immigration while dramatically decreasing illegal immigration. After that, let a free market figure it out.
So far, I have pretty much no alarm bells with Cruz. Which is a whole lot more than I can say for 99% of politicians.

Ted Cruz looks like the

Ted Cruz looks like the character "Quagmire" from the animated show, "Family Guy".

I'm Leery of Cruz, as well. And, Here is One More Reason

Ted Cruz, David Vitter clash on Obamacare exemption

"Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) wants to broaden Sen. David Vitter (R-La.)’s proposal to put lawmakers on the exchanges without a tax subsidy to include all federal employees. But Vitter’s camp says such a move would only make it easier for Democrats to defeat it."

They should work on removing the Congressional exemption first. Then, Congress won't care as much about removing exemption from others.

Cruz SOUNDS and ACTS like he's doing what Conservatives want.
But, what is he really accomplished? Do we have any citations?

Sadly, his position on work visa's is very similar to Rand.

The both want to dramatically expand the number of workers entering the U.S. So apparently "free market" doesn't extend to "free labor market", as business is provided the relief of foreign workers and citizen workers are left to fend for themselves.

I will not support Cruz.

I get this gut feeling that he is similar to Mike Kelly. Mike touted, no, bragged, that he was Tea-party and that our Republic was long overdue to return to the principles of what once made it great.

Then, in 2012, Mike earned a 30% voting rating. He continues to support bush/obama agendas, and went on to vote AGAINST Amash's HR2399. Mike will make up for those votes right before election, but no worries, he will return to his sorry habits after the people vote him in again. He is after all, R.

So, Cruz may be good right now, but if/once in office can potentially further destroy what little we have left. Remember how bush w. sounded before he became president - exactly like Ron Paul.

If Cruz really cares for our Republic, he will keep the seat that he has and continue to make the difference there. He will not politicize, and try to twist his version of natural-born, but rather hold to principle and the Law of the Land. IMO.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

I think hes a politician and

I think hes a politician and trying to ride the obvious 'liberty' hype that is going on right now amongst republicans, hes trying to keep them in the party.

f him.

LKY's picture

Always blame on someone else

when Americans can compete for the same job with immigrants, its someone's fault for letting them in to compete. When our English speaking college graduates can't compete with non-native English speaking college graduates, it is also the fault of someone who allow such competition to exist.

This is the complaint on Cruz, then we deserve the kind of government we have now and in the future.

You make a fair point, but

keep in mind that many companies would rather hire immigrants over natives, because they (often correctly) assume that they'll be able to take advantage of immigrant workers.

As for that, sure, those immigrants could always quit...but then what? Go on welfare? Given how many people in the US are already on it, coupled with our current unemployment rate, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to believe so.

Either way, I see it as a lose/lose scenario, at least given the way the system currently operates. Take away the handouts from able-bodied people (far easier said than done, I know), actually enforce laws regarding *illegal* aliens and then maybe it'd work out in the long term.

Also, there are several complaints people have about Cruz, this is far from the first one. I've been pretty lukewarm with the guy, but having just caught wind of this...it's definitely a red mark in my book.

A signature used to be here!

Personally

I don't think those immigration laws regarding living or working here should even exist. All our ancestors are immigrants.

On a side note, Cruz will never qualify to be President.

That would be fine IF....

...there were no welfare or social programs financed by tax dollars, right?

Of course

It's quite unfair to expect natives to pay all the bills while immigrants get a free ride on our dollar. Same costs, same initiatives for all; that's my desire.

gtfoh..

Michio Kaku explaining the reality of the H1B. Entire industries are created from the H1B. More jobs are created than lost.

http://youtu.be/NK0Y9j_CGgM

Why anyone would listen to

Why anyone would listen to Michio Kaku I don't know. What I do know is that H1B visa entrants from India into the tech field are most often incompetent. From what I've heard even their professors back in India are hopeless.

Should we now be concerned

with his allegiance? Born in Canada to a Cuban father?

The MSM is pushing him because in their eyes two wrongs make a right. There's no difference between republicans and democrats, or the MSM that promotes them.

Sometimes you Paulites can be

Sometimes you Paulites can be a little dramatic.

There is a shortage of highly

There is a shortage of highly skilled workers in some fields because most of our students are too lazy to study hard enough to compete with foreign students for jobs as engineers.

Oh get off it

Ted Cruz is a bad mamma jamma. I live in Texas, now I will say he is no Ron Paul, he isn't even a Rand Paul. But a friend of liberty, yes. He is our red headed cuban step child that we need to keep close so he doesn't go sleeping with his second cousins in the back of the reunion. I would vote Cruz over Christie any day. Either way, I am not going to pay attention to the pres race this time. Not as important as the locals.

You just got PAULED!

He may actually be loyal to liberty & the constitution, but...

...he is not eligible.

The fact he is even considering running shows me he is likely not loyal to the constitution, and if he is, he better go read it a few more times.

PEOPLE OPPOSING TYRANNY - Real Grass Roots!
Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

I think he is completely fake

I don't believe he loves liberty, he only pretends to cause he wants to stay in office. I beleive, once in office as president, he will do nothing different than Bush. I would rather write in Mickey Mouse than vote for Cruz or Christie, but then again, Mickey is for raising taxes. ;)

More and more MSM sites are

More and more MSM sites are pushing him as a 2016 contender over Paul.
Makes you wonder.

Southern Agrarian

Paul

has stepped back.. he signed up for a second term as Senator, Kentucky law says he can not run for Senate and president. Maybe he will change, he has that right, but for now.. he's stepping back from the presidential bid and letting the others face the music.

He isn't stepping back from

He isn't stepping back from it.

Quite the opposite. Sen. Rand Paul's fundraising has picked up the pace

He's in the daily political headlines every day.

So Granger you're little comment above is evidence that YOU are actually controlled opposition lying about things like you do.

Read your article

within YOUR article

//Paul has said he will decide on a presidential run after next year’s midterm elections. He can’t file for the Senate and the presidency simultaneously, but there are ways he could keep his options open until he sees how he performs in early caucuses and primaries.//

I said he has stepped back.. it says in your article, " he will decide on a presidential run after next year’s midterm elections."

That is stepping back in my book.

I would LOVE to see Rand not only run for president but WIN, and I FULLY EXPECT TO BE A RAND PAUL DELEGATE IF he goes there.

I think it's very smart of him to step back from the presidential arena and let Americans hear what the other candidates have to say, let MSM beat them up, or see who MSM is promoting, see who Rove is supporting, so we can come back, rather than watch Rand get attacked by MSM for Hunter (racist), Benton (grudges), and other issues he's been taking a undeserved beating. Maybe you just like seeing Rand attacked in MSM and YOU are the controlled opposition? Hmmm?

You are just making shit up.

You are just making shit up.
