The bigger picture...

Maybe it is time for Ron Paul himself to get behind and promote a major fund raising drive. With the number of Meetups and members, one would think 20 million should be easily obtained. The average donations so far have been relatively small, and even though some have maxed out, I don't think many have.

There has to be some way to get all the Meetup groups together at the same time and organize something like this. Maybe Dr. Paul could put together a little video discussing and reassuring everyone of the true success of the campaign regardless of the media blackout. He could then explain that more funds are desperately needed to get the message to those who do not research news and politics on the internet. This video could be shown at all the various Meetup locations within a day or so with the understanding that a fund raiser was to take place. (The day does not have to be some fancy, histroical, significant-meaning day....the only people that see the 'special' date before and during the fund raiser are those on the internet and I honestly believe we have come close to running the tap dry here.)

We need to start making the best of our efforts, results, and numbers that have been achieved thus far. I don't know exactly when, but the time when you express the idea of 'now or never' with regard to this campaign gets closer every day.

I think we need this to happen sometime by early next week.
