A compelling video on The Book of Daniel and how it tells us exactly where we are headed (religious content be advised)

I think this is a video even atheists will find very compelling. Much of the information is backed up with historical facts. I find this video very hard to refute, please let me know what you think about the video AFTER you watch it. I think anyone can really find this pretty intriguing.

VERY Compelling!

But now you've added to my already busy schedule...I'll have to watch the rest of his work.
Interesting that he implies the EU will fail.

Every one of his videos

are amazing, the great part is how he backs them with historical facts, I hope you enjoy them.

Great series...

The videos are worth every hour you spend watching it. Did you know that Issac Newton spend more time studying Daniel and the Bible than science? He even wrote a book about Daniel.
The author of the video is right on, regarding the interpretation of the book of Daniel. Another very nice video to watch: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fl4VoH1i19E

There is a whole concerted effort about convincing the average American about things that are not true. I watched a few month ago David Jeremiah (since I was at Grandma's place). He was just speaking garbage, he was enticing and brain washing his followers, encouraging an attack on Iran. He even went farther into saying about a prophecy in Ezekiel that according to his imagination the European Union & Russia will join into attacking Israel...You really need to have a very crooked imagination to invent such gross and distorted theological interpretation . . . We need to be careful who our spiritual leaders are, with such wolves in sheep clothing we will end up destroying the great United States of America...I feel many of today's churches are just forums for the Neocons therefore you really need to watch and not be deceived. We need honest spiritual leaders like Wesley, Luther, Doug Batchelor, Mark Finley... This is one point I am weary about Rand Paul and I think Ron Paul is right on.

I give up on it. It's all

I give up on it. It's all symbolic, poetic, and too open to interpretation. I am not a person that can glean stuff between the lines. I need it explained to me, and then it gets perverted by man.

Please come join my forum if you're not a trendy and agree with my points of view.

Walter Veith

I came across the Veith lectures many years ago in connection with his conversion from evolutionism to creation. I have also watched quite a few of his talks on prophecy. I find him to be humble, very knowledgeable and very worthwhile listening to. Everyone is responsible to determine if any teaching is of God or not so we should always seek to confirm everything we hear with two or three witnesses according to the Law.

I do not personally agree that the symbol of "wind" in scripture uniquely carries the significance of "war". e.g. In the Song of Solomon the north wind signifies tribulation brought into one's life in order to drive one closer to God. The south wind conversely is brought into one's life to give one a time of refreshing and joy in the presence of the LORD.

In Ephesians 4:14 the apostle Paul tells us that wind signifies doctrines of questionable provenance by which one may be led astray. "As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming."

In Acts 2:2-4 we read that the Holy Spirit fills the waiting disciples and He is pictured as a violent rushing wind and fire. "Suddenly a sound like a violent wind blowing came from heaven and filled the entire house where they were sitting. And tongues spreading out like a fire appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak in other languages as the Spirit enabled them."

So, when we read in Daniel 2:35: "Then the iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold were broken in pieces without distinction and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors that the wind carries away. Not a trace of them could be found." we should know that the stone which fell upon the feet of the image (of the kingdoms of mortal man which have been built by men in their own image) completely destroys all of the false doctrines of the carnal mind of man upon which the image has been built over many thousands of years; the Babylonian teachings that date back to Nimrod at the Tower of Babel. It "blows them away" and replaces them with the teachings of the Holy Spirit that are one with Word of God, to be written on the hearts of all men.

This I believe is the denouement we are now approaching. The violent practices and governments of men are finally coming to an end to be replaced by the Kingdom of God that is righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. That is the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Violence does not replace violence. The Kingdom of God will not be established violently. All the wars will be swept away along with all the bloodthirsty teachings of the modern philosophies and religions that belong to the kingdoms of the world, the teachings of the harlot church of Babylon who has committed adultery with the kings and kingdoms of the world.

This is one very crucial point on which I diverge from Walter Veith. I believe he is still influenced by the violent doctrines of Babylon to this extent although he has provided much useful insight for the serious Bible student.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

Thank you, David.

Daniel is one of the books

that shares God's plan for Israel. He made her promises that were put on hold for about 2000 years because they did not receive their Messiah. When the fullness of time has come, God will once again turn His face to Israel and finish what He promised. They will be restored and made whole when they finally call out to their Messiah and acknowledge His gift of salvation.

There is a calculation that can be done referencing the book of Daniel that will give the EXACT date in history when Jesus Christ made His entry into Jerusalem on a donkey - the day of their visitation. Prophesied from eternity past - perfectly, to the very day, fulfilled.

Not a coincidence.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

LOVE THAT!

Did you get a chance to watch it Barracuda

it is actually really good, he has other videos on his site to that are really well done. I am not trying to push religious content on here, just asking people to keep an open mind and take a chance to learn and maybe make more informed choices about life. I thought I would get hammered without the warning, LOL.

I love a good bible scholar who has the whole context

And who can surface every detail (or code) like the meanings of each character's name and their relevance to the purpose of the book.

It all confirms the genius that is God -- the finest details are all revealed to those who seek Him and to know His mind.

One of my favorite passages in the new Testament is;
1 Corinthians 1:18 NKJV - Christ the Power and Wisdom of God ...
www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+1%3A18&ve...

Christ the Power and Wisdom of God - For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

One of my sons was going through a time of unbelief when the movie "The Passion" came out. My son worked in the movie industry at the time so he and his tatooed girl friend went to see it. When I mentioned that I had just seen it he mumbled something about it being propaganda. In that moment the Spirit put that passage in my mouth and I just blurted it out over the phone. No judgement just the passage.
I'm sure the power of the Word did it's job after we talked.

My favorite passage that really moves me is

Revelations 22:13 KJV

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Thanks for sharing Barracuda the time is near I believe.
