Claim Your $45.00 From Naked Juice for Lying about GMOs

'The Naked Juice company was sued in 2011, accused of using GMO ingredients and deceptively labeling its products, "all natural." As the Organic Consumers Association explains:

According to plaintiffs, Naked Juice used soy ingredients that are genetically engineered "by design or by contamination." (Naked Juice doesn't use certified organic or verified non-GMO soy.) Naked Juice intentionally used misleading language to give consumers "the false impression that the beverage's vitamin content is due to the nutritious fruits and juices, rather than added synthetic compounds." And the PepsiCo subsidiary contained a laundry list of synthetic chemicals, including calcium pantothenate (synthetically produced from formaldehyde).

PepsiCo, of course, is the owner of Naked Juice and also the same company that bankrolled the defeat of Prop 37 in California, the "Right to Know" GMO labeling campaign.'

But I don't understand

they are forced to label their product, so we should be more informed, right? This is why I am against forced labeling, government regulations don't work.

Tried it once.

As a general rule, class action law suites are a scam

The lawyers troll for them because they are ones who benefit and rich but the people harmed hardly ever get what they deserve or the harm was negligent not warranting the settlement.

In this case we're supposed to feel sorry for people who bought a processed and bottled fruit drink that is loaded with sugar and other additives because it had GMO fruits in it?

And as true with any other class action suite, people will line up and lie about buying the drink to try to benefit from it.

This does not look like a scam to me.....

The part I like about this is I don't care to much for Pepsi. Yes, I do like the taste of the product, but that's about it. The *KNOWN health damages of these companies products, i.e. Coke, Tyson, McDonalds, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, is STAGERING and BEYOND BELIEF!

I'd imagine you even know people who have become unwhittingly sick or even deathly ill from consumption of these products.

They've should have been condemend and brought down years ago.

They've had they're chance to do good. IMO they did not want too and have blown it for themselves.

*IMO KNOWN to the companies making the stuff, NOT the people.

I am glad you are spreading

I am glad you are spreading this around. I have bought it and drank it but who knows how many times in 6 years. I don't. But I filed out the form.

Good Grief

Is there no shame, naked isn't naked? Man, I loved that juice, got some in the fridge now. The labeling is definitely deceptive if this is true. Passing this to relatives, I know of several dozen people who'll be asking for $45 if this is for real.

I'm confused, so I'm looking

I'm confused, so I'm looking at the label right now and it clearly states non-GMO, and the list of ingredients is just fruit juice and some innocent things like zinc oxide. Is this an old issue, so did they correct themselves after the lawsuit?

Sorry, I read. It's ongoing,

Sorry, I read. It's ongoing, they are changing their labels, maybe changing the juice. This will hit their sales for sure, bye bye Whole Foods.

Don't Get Naked.....

I used to drink green machine like it was my job. This will not even cover the money I've wasted on this before I discovered it was owned by pepsi. Thanks for posting, I'll take what I can get from these bastards.
