The Brits have blinked first. Cameron recognizes, and the US respects, the British Parliaments authority over military action taken by Britain in Syria. That is, at least, until the Parliament reviews the "compelling evidence", probably next week, of the Syrian government being the perpetrator of the chemical weapon war crime.
The Brits, as well as the US, have been adamant that they intervene to protect the innocent civilians by actively punishing the guilty perpetrator. Does that mean that if the Parliament, or perhaps US Congress, decides the evidence indicates that the perp is a rebel group, will they launch cruise missiles at the rebels? I suppose they would just drop pigs on them, because that would happen only when pigs fly. lol
In any case, here's the latest from The Telegraph...
