The war drums are pounding and President Barack Obama is each day closer to taking military action against the Syrian government. There are major questions about why the U.S. would become involved in Syria and whether or not the claim that the Assad regime used chemical weapons on citizens living in a Damascus suburb are based in fact. Administration officials say that military action against Syria would be done “not to create a regime change” but some members of Congress aren’t buying it.

“If its not an effort to exact regime change then what is it? Is it just retaliation? Is it bullying? Is it showing everybody in the world that we have missiles and we can fire them into your country because we don’t like what we see?” asks Republican Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie.

Where in the US Constitution

Where in the US Constitution is the requirement to carve the US Congress into little fiefdoms, i.e. committees? Are fiefdoms in the US Congress symbolic of a larger problem, i.e. the centralization of power? As much as possible, get rid of the congressional fiefdoms, political parties, etc and the special interests which control them and the US Congress. Dissolve the fiefdoms and return the usurped power to the states and their respective peoples under the 10th amendment.

Thomas, if the POTUS acts unilaterally in Syria, I fully expect the House of Representatives to initiate the process of impeachment. I don't care one iota if the prospect of conviction of the POTUS in the US Senate is almost nil. I DO care about maintaining the integrity of the process of impeachment and sending the strongest message possible to the POTUS over unconstitutional actions.

Like

This is a good interview by Rep. Massie...

... who has introduced a bill to block unauthorized U.S. military aid to Syrian rebels. The bill currently has 13 cosponsors; please contact your Representative and urge support for H.R. 2507, the "War Powers Protection Act of 2013." Thank you.

YOU DON"T GET IT ANDREW.

You should LOVE ZIONISM. The Constitutional way of thinking is so OLD HAT.

I suggest that you pay attention to Granger, she is the speaker for the Zionists and they are determined. They will kill everything that threatens they power.

Just listen to her and join the movement.

Thanks for the post by the way.
