Top CA State Senator McClintock leaning to a Ron Paul endorsement

I just saw on the LA times McClintock is leaning towards endorsing Ron Paul now that Fred is out. Encouraging, as we should bring in economic minded Fred heads. I have the story posted on my news site Ron Paul Report

This would be a great endorsement - it might help win some congressional districts.

First NM Gov Gary Johnson, then Jane Roe, Luskin & Schiff, and now McClintock. Did someone just flick the credibility switch?

this is the guy who ran against Arnold in the gubernatorial primary last time. He carries mucho weight with the real republican base in California. Traditional California republicans, many with libertarian leanings, will listen to him. It would give RP a real boost.

The moderate/left wing of the Repubs are all for Rudy, like Bill Simon and Pete Wilson, etc. I suppose they will go to McCain or perhaps Romney.
