James Corbett - Who is really behind the Syrian War?

Update: Better Daily Paul post here - http://www.dailypaul.com/297514/the-corbett-report-who-is-re...

It is mostly about the Syria - Iraq - Iran oil pipeline. James Corbett hits it out of the park as usual, and describes all the players involved and why it has nothing to do with chemical weapons.. everyone needs to watch this:

James Cobett is a straight up racist ignorant piece of !!!!!!!!!

I am an analyst, a financial analyst so everything is from an economic perspective. This means in order to get the most accurate information, I must vet my sources. I have trusted sources and then there is everyone else. So when I read a post on here regarding accusation either way my first thought is where the information comes from and do they have an agenda. I believe he does have an agenda but let’s look at some facts.

The Corbett Report....this guy has done a good job of either scrubbing the internet of his past or …..he basically hasn’t done anything. So I went to an interview….he stated that his inspirations comes from Alex Jones and the documentary the Money Master. Now I am familiar with Alex Jones and don’t really take him too serious when it comes to deep cognitive thought. But I do know the Money Master video and these guys are straight up GREENBACKERS…….and they walk the lunatic fringe. Giving the government the ability to issue its own money it not the solution…..it’s just a different form of statism…..the solution to issuing money is “FREE BANKING”.

If you want to know more about the Greenbackers
http://mises.org/document/5812/Gertrude-Coogans-Bluff-Greenb...

If you want to know more about Free Banking “The History of Money and Banking” Murray Rothbard

This video is full of lies….. I will give you an example. Have you seen the video?

http://www.knowledgeoftoday.org/2012/05/money-masters-origin...

At the 11 min mark he speaks of the money changers…this shit makes my head explode……because there are so many it would take me weeks to dismantle all the lies in this video. But let’s just take a look at this one.

The Moneychangers ( from 11 min mark to 12:20 mark)
I can’t believe that Wikipedia has such a good description of the event and in the proper context.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_and_the_money_changers
Really the first two segment tell the story.

Here is something I wrote earlier:
It’s like the myth of Jesus and the “moneychangers”. First of all the moneychangers were not bankers……a current analogy would be currency traders. They ran a business of exchanging the moneys from near and far to the only money Herod would accept for taxes…. which was his local currency. Secondly Jesus not only threw out of the Temple the moneychangers….he threw out all the merchants from the Temple…...What he was pissed off about was the fact that the leader of the Temple was renting out space in the Temple period and taking a cut……The merchants were charging a premium which he thought to be usury. The temple was so sacred to him because it was his “Father” place. He didn’t go after the moneychangers in the streets……only in the Temple…….but in order to fit the agenda of the kooks the facts are ignored and twisted to blame the Hebrews as the evil bankers that want to control the world.

So the money master video lies right off the bat…….do you know this is where the evil bankers conspiracy theory supposedly starts? With the Church……wow I wonder why….because they have lost their controlling interest over the centuries.

Ok…… Back to Corbett……ok so now that we have at least brought to the forefront that Corbett is a conspiracy kook let examine what was said. Ok starting at the 14 min mark ……man…. talk about selective reporting…..here is the portion of the article in question he read on the podcast:

The dissolution of Syria and Iraq later on into ethnically or religiously unique areas such as in Lebanon, is Israel’s primary target on the Eastern front in the long run, while the dissolution of the military power of those states serves as the primary short term target. Syria will fall apart, in accordance with its ethnic and religious structure, into several states such as in present day Lebanon, so that there will be a Shi’ite Alawi state along its coast, a Sunni state in the Aleppo area, another Sunni state in Damascus hostile to its northern neighbor, and the Druzes who will set up a state, maybe even in our Golan, and certainly in the Hauran and in northern Jordan. This state of affairs will be the guarantee for peace and security in the area in the long run, and that aim is already within our reach today.

Then he adds his bigoted opinion …….yes peace as defined by the Zionist Israel foreign policy planning community ….ie peace and stability for Israel and it does play into Israel interested to keep the area divided ethically and religiously and get those sects fighting with each other because the obviously makes for the divided and conquer strategy that has been the go to strategy for would be tyrant and imperialist for millennium. And it certainly does serve Israel Foreign Policy to keep the Muslin fighting amongst each other along sectarian lines rather than fighting against Israel and that’s exactly low and behold what is happening is Syria.
Now let put some context to the paragraph that he selectively choose to pull from the article.

Paragraph one
At the outset of the nineteen eighties the State of Israel is in need of a new perspective as to its place, its aims and national targets, at home and abroad. The existence, prosperity and steadfastness of the Jewish state will depend upon its ability to adopt a new framework for its domestic and foreign affairs.

Paragraph Five
The Gorshkov doctrine calls for Soviet control of the oceans and mineral rich areas of the Third World. That together with the present Soviet nuclear doctrine which holds that it is possible to manage, win and survive a nuclear war, in the course of which the West’s military might well be destroyed and its inhabitants made slaves in the service of Marxism-Leninism, is the main danger to world peace and to our own existence.

Paragraph Six
The Arab Moslem world, therefore, IS NOT THE MAJOR STRATEGIC PROBLEM which we shall face in the Eighties, despite the fact that it carries the main threat against Israel, due to its growing military might. This world, with its ethnic minorities, its factions and internal crises, which is astonishingly self-destructive, as we can see in Lebanon, in non-Arab Iran and now also in Syria, is unable to deal successfully with its fundamental problems and DOES NOT THEREFORE CONSTITUTE A REAL THREAT against the State of Israel in the long run, but only in the short run where its IMMEDIATE MILITARY POWER HAS GREAT IMPORT. In the long run, this world will be unable to exist within its present framework in the areas around us without having to go through genuine revolutionary changes. The Moslem Arab World is built like a temporary house of cards put together by foreigners (France and Britain in the Nineteen Twenties), without the wishes and desires of the inhabitants having been taken into account. It was arbitrarily divided into 19 states, all made of combinations of minorities and ethnic groups which are hostile to one another, so that every Arab Moslem state nowadays faces ethnic social destruction from within, and in some a civil war is already raging. 5 Most of the Arabs, 118 million out of 170 million, live in Africa, mostly in Egypt (45 million today).

Paragraph Eleven
Jordan is in reality Palestinian, ruled by a Trans-Jordanian Bedouin minority, but most of the army and certainly the bureaucracy is now Palestinian. As a matter of fact Amman is as Palestinian as Nablus. All of these countries have powerful armies, relatively speaking. But there is a problem there too. The Syrian army today is mostly Sunni with an Alawi officer corps, the Iraqi army Shi’ite with Sunni commanders. This has great significance in the long run, and that is why it will not be possible to retain the loyalty of the army for a long time except where it comes to the only common denominator: The hostility towards Israel, and today even that is insufficient.

Paragraph Fourteen
In this giant and fractured world there are a few wealthy groups and a huge mass of poor people. Most of the Arabs have an average yearly income of 300 dollars. That is the situation in Egypt, in most of the Maghreb countries except for Libya, and in Iraq. Lebanon is torn apart and its economy is falling to pieces. It is a state in which there is no centralized power, but only 5 de facto sovereign authorities (Christian in the north, supported by the Syrians and under the rule of the Franjieh clan, in the East an area of direct Syrian conquest, in the center a Phalangist controlled Christian enclave, in the south and up to the Litani river a mostly Palestinian region controlled by the PLO and Major Haddad’s state of Christians and half a million Shi’ites). Syria is in an even graver situation and even the assistance she will obtain in the future after the unification with Libya will not be sufficient for dealing with the basic problems of existence and the maintenance of a large army.

Paragraph Sixteen
The “peace” policy and the return of territories, through a dependence upon the US, precludes the realization of the new option created for us. Since 1967, all the governments of Israel have tied our national aims down to narrow political needs, on the one hand, and on the other to destructive opinions at home which neutralized our capacities both at home and abroad. Failing to take steps towards the Arab population in the new territories, acquired in the course of a war forced upon us, is the major strategic error committed by Israel on the morning after the Six Day War. We could have saved ourselves all the bitter and dangerous conflict since then if we had given Jordan to the Palestinians who live west of the Jordan river. By doing that we would have neutralized the Palestinian problem which we nowadays face, and to which we have found solutions that are really no solutions at all, such as territorial compromise or autonomy which amount, in fact, to the same thing. 8 Today, we suddenly face immense opportunities for transforming the situation thoroughly and this we must do in the coming decade, otherwise we shall not survive as a state.
Paragraph Twenty Two……the paragraph Corbett quoted from
The Western front, which on the surface appears more problematic, is in fact less complicated than the Eastern front, in which most of the events that make the headlines have been taking place recently. Lebanon’s total dissolution into five provinces serves as a precedent for the entire Arab world including Egypt, Syria, Iraq and the Arabian peninsula and is already following that track. The dissolution of Syria and Iraq later on into ethnically or religiously unqiue areas such as in Lebanon, is Israel’s primary target on the Eastern front in the long run, while the dissolution of the military power of those states serves as the primary short term target.

In the context of the article a "greater Israel" it clearly states the Israel is most scared of Russia and her nukes. That the Arab Muslin world has been divided up by Westerns over the last century without ANY CLEAR UNDERSTANDING of the ethnic and religious background. The Muslin world is figuring this out, on their own, and dividing into regions more suitable to themselves. In Israel’s opinion if Syria divided along the same lines as Lebanon there will be a buffer of Sunni’s friendlier to Israel that are more hospitable then others. This is not a bad thing……

His take on the “Greater Israel” plan is totally misleading and inflammatory with anti-Semitic rhetoric. If James Corbett financial education consists of watching a video without any understanding of any economic principles then him posting this article certainly qualifies him as an expert in the Israel/ Arab conflict. He is incapable of any cognitive thought because stating what he stated about the Zionist plan is proof he has an agenda……………. information without the ability to think makes for those special kooks that don’t know they should be embarrassed for saying the things they say.

Nice to see this getting the attention it deserves.

Again! ;)

How dare you take away my downvotes!!!

Wonderful post, informative, honest.. common sense, understanding of what's going on. Thank you!

you stated, "This means in

you stated, "This means in order to get the most accurate information, I must vet my sources. I have trusted sources and then there is everyone else"
and then you go on to quote wikipedia. Wikipedia is so unreliable as a source for anything that school children are not allowed to use it as reference.

"and the truth shall make you free"
John 8:32

WOW I guess you missed

the fact that I qualified the only Wikipedia information on the post and then added my own information regarding this one point……..Pretty weak…….is that the best you got…..GGB…..or is it KGB

It's Amazing To Me,

How much time, effort, money, and thought is spent on worldwide disruption, mayhem, disinformation, and deception rather than creating beneficial products, food for all people, potable water for all people through irrigation of deserts, etc. etc.

Remember the USA space program, and how many jobs it created?

Now the USA is too broke spending its limited amounts of money on pin the tail on invisible terrorists, to pay its bills.

beesting

this is why

I keep bringing up Israel.. they are creating beneficial products, feeding themselves and others.. wide variety of alternative energy and compatible products.. there's tons of Jobs in Israel..

I'm starting to think.. Israel is Gault's Gultch.
