Are we all gonna let Adam Kokesh rot in a jail cell?

We need high powered lawyers on this chit, is there anyone on this site who is a lawyer, or is there anyone on this site who can start a paypal account to pay for his lawyer. I am chit at paypal chit and I am not a lawyer, but I will donate, how do we free him people?
How can we let one of our own rot in a prison cell and think we are making any move towards freedom? We need to get him the hell out of there.

What about Barret Brown?

Free Barret brigade used Thunderclap---crowdtilt style funding is an option.

Anybody know whether his family is already "on it" so to say?

Getting Adam out is a good

Getting Adam out is a good thing to do but it is far overshadowed by the looming Syria war. Even Adam would want us to focus on pressing issues such as this. Any money/time/effort we would be putting into Adam we should be throwing at getting Congress to say NO! This is what Adam would be doing and it would be a greater service to him to stand for his beliefs and not his physical freedom.

Besides, who wants to have to be the guy to say:

"Hey Adam, welcome out of jail! Here is your draft card for WWIII..."

We all share this eternally evolving present moment- The past and future only exist as inconsequential mental fabrications.

So, the vote tally* in response to this question is:

so far:

Yes, let him rot: 58

Oh noes! The bad gobmint arrested him and we must do something! : 5

blabber blabber bblabbubababllab consent blab blabber: 2

I hear they have excellent rat meat tacos there!

Yep,

Hot heads like him cause trouble. Keep him out of harms way I say.
If he was "sexy", Bruce Fein would "defend" him.

and when they came for Adam, no one said anything.

And then they came for us.

How much money has Adam and

How much money has Adam and AVTM raised so far?

i upvoted you

I have tried to contact

Adam vs the Man waiting on them to respond back to me. Let's get it rooooooollllllllllllllinnnnnnnnnnnnnng.

They don't seem to respond back....

....unfortunately for Adam.

Someone wrote them 2+ days ago.

No response. :(

Their https://adamvstheman.com/ website has not been kept updated, either. :(

However, a video was posted on there today....which I had to click thru to you tube to play....and had to strain to hear.

I'm very disappointed with all this.

Adam cannot receive defense funds directly in jail, and I don't feel comfortable with him not getting his donations, as previously stated.

Don't know how to help. :(

I mailed Adam a PDF of my video,

"Hardly the Acts of Non-Violent Man". I will post his address at a later time, as Comcast is presently having problems with my email account.

Adam is a hero for standing up to rediculas laws.

All the people that do anything for the freedom movement are valuable. Remember he was a non-violent demonstrator.
Don't listen to the people that don't support him. I may not agree 100% with Adam but he is part of our diverse movement. If all you can do is donate do it while you can. If you choose not to find another way to resist or change the system peacefully.

He deserves confinement for standing up to tyranny?

Wow! I would say that if I was doing something better to peacefully resist our tyrannical gov. But if we turn on our own peaceful demonstrators we will all lose.

What about Irwin Schiff?

He's done a lot for the liberty movement yet he continues to live his life in federal prison.

Adam made his bed, alot of us

Adam made his bed, alot of us warned him what would happen & it happened. Its alot of wasted resources to fund Adam situations. Imagine if he went through with the March on DC & 50 to 100 or more people got arrested & ended up in the same situation Adam is in now? Would they have gotten the same resources Adam is getting now, which is not much, they would of been in a worse off situation than Adam with little to no attention.

All the "he knew what he was

All the "he knew what he was getting himself into" talk aside, yes, let's do something for the guy. He made a point for all of us. Contact the guys at Adam Vs. The Man at http://adamvstheman.com/ and get the moneybomb going. I'll chip in. The least we can do is help him get a decent lawyer. Am I wrong, is he rich or something? I seriously doubt it.

In the mean time write him a letter of encouragement and thanks at:

Adam Kokesh

1901 D Street SE
Washington, DC 20003

I don't know the guy. I've seen his videos etc, at least a dozen times. I like him. Let's do something for him.

His address is different now:

From FreeAdam.net:

Adam needs letters of support, positive photos, news articles (especially) and similar material to keep his mind occupied while in a cage. Send him mail at this address:

Adam Kokesh
#338454
1901 E Street, SE
Washington, DC 20003

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE. The OLD address was “1901 D Street SE”. The NEW address is “1901 E Street, SE”.

Send him stamps with the mail, too, if you can. No more than 20/letter, though.

Also, a self-addressed/stamped envelope, if you want him to respond.

i know adam personally

He is a great guy.

thanks for the info

I emailed Linda from AdamvstheMan to see what info she had on a pitch in for him, we will see what fruit it returns.

Wanted to see how this rush would sift out

I'm gonna guess one of Adam's supporters put out an urgent and questionably timed call for help.

Questionably timed because at this point in process, a process Adam submitted himself to knowing of the consequences, there's really not much we can do short of showing up with pickaxes and crowbards and prying apart the jailhouse doors.

This post in particular smacks of "somebody should" which historically in this movement means "I will". If now, there goes your credibility.

DO WHAT YOU SAY. FIND THE LAWYERS, SEE WHAT THEY COST AND GIVE US A FUND RAISING OBJECTIVE. Or join with Adam's established and organized supporters.

And please, next time you can save the breathless histrionics.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

An unintended government consequence...

Adam Kokesh raises an army of inmates.

Hmmmmm

what exactly do you suggest? Adam Kokesh stated quite specifically he knew he was breaking the law, that it was a form of civil disobedience. That means he knew he could be arrested and jailed for it. Now that he has accomplished this and made himself a martyr, why is it our responsibility to a) fund his defense, b) be his defense, or c) whatever else it is you are advocating?

Something always bugs me about this guy. He looks super fit, has toned muscles, etc. yet is "80% disabled." And he lives on disability income while arguing not for libertarianism but for anarchism, a condition of statelessness. And he somehow lives on disability, yet manages to dress very well. Somthing doesn't add up. Are we to believe that he didn't have legal counsel before he did this? Are we to believe he couldn;t afford it? Are we to believe he couldn't afford it but did it anyway?

I'm just saying, think about this one.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

The 2nd amendment is the law.

Anyone that makes a law to infringe on a persons rights is a lawbreaker! Adam is in the right but the lawbreakers have the force and power because WE let them.
I have given and will give more to my advocate Adam Kokesh.

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people that pay no price for being wrong.

yeah

and I wish the analysis ended there, and it was all that simple, but it isn't.

Adam's fate is a pretty good

Adam's fate is a pretty good lesson for us all IMO. You can't mix activism for politics and drugs. The smartest choice would be to push for one or the other but not both.

It sorta makes sense of his arrest at the drug fest... that set the stage for his house raid and drug arrest.

The establishment easily discredit him in the eyes of the public.

MSM portrays a drugged up guy who wants to carry loaded assault riffles around DC. Just don't see the masses jumping on board do you?
