Putin: We are not defending Assad, we are defending international law

Russia needs convincing proof, not rumors, from UN experts that chemical weapons were used in Syria, said the Russian president in an interview with First Channel and AP. It is up to the UN Security Council to decide on the next course of action, he said.

Well Putin did take real

Well Putin did take real questions. That's interesting.

Putin is a @#$%% piece of chite.

He's just better and cleaner than who we've got these days.

He's hardly a good guy, being former KGB chief under Soviet totalitarianism.

Still that's pretty f$%#ing sad that the ex-KGB chief under Soviet totalitarianism is more pro-liberty than those in DC that we have these days.

I don't trust him

Never have, never will.

Not so much because of his nation's or his personal history, but because he's a politician.

I could sit here and wonder what exactly his role in all this is, but grabbing some popcorn and watching the show, or better yet-- leaving the theater for a breath of fresh air, seem like better alternatives.

A signature used to be here!

His first and second questions were good: who were those people?

We would like to know.

Wow! President Putin is looking and talking really, really good!

He has become something of a white knight to the world--speaking the truth and preaching peace--in STARK contrast to our own, criminal, war-mongering US administration. Putin is definitely winning the PR campaign and has LOTS of Americans agreeing with him.

The roles have definitely been reversed since Reagan's time and few people, including Americans, would argue that the US government is itself now anything other than the modern version of the "Evil Empire" is once decried.

Oh good Lord, please stop

Oh good Lord, please stop drooling over Vladimir freaking Putin.

"A white knight to the world speaking the truth and preaching peace."

That is the biggest overstatement I have ever read on the Daily Paul.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Ever felt like you were a lump

of dough, being kneaded by both the left and right hand, being manipulated into the "end product"?
Many a true word spoken in propaganda.

and the UN already has stated that the USA

cannot unilaterally decide on war against Syria, so aaaaaaaaaaaah chit I can't tell who is on who's side at this point. We may be witnessing a world gang up on America, but we may deserve it. We may become collateral damage for the aholes we keep in power so just be ready just incase everyone. Tighten up your butt cheeks so your ass don't hang out. We got to be ready for any scenario, and the target may become us. Stay strong.

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

The UN is the double sided mouth

that controls both the Left and the Right and pretends to be "neutral".
I see the UN as the Engine Room of Political Zionism, and ultimately our (not too distant) future One World Government.
Don't judge the UN by what is says, judge it by what it does, and more importantly, what it doesn't do.

I agree with the rest of your statement but...

...you're wrong about the U.N. being an "engine room for political Zionism". Here's why...

The U.N. often sanctions Israel, and generally opposes the sovereignty and legitimacy of the Jewish nation. They have (through the U.S.) forced Israel to give back the captured Suez Canal, and the Sinai desert, after capturing it from Egypt in the 1973-74 war. The U.N. was involved in brokering the "peace treaty" that gave the West Bank & Gaza to 'Palestinians', thus creating a separatist state, and a hostile insurgency right in Israel's front yard. The U.N. now tries to tell Israel where it can or cannot build settlements on their own land, and call these settlements "illegal", based on U.N. rules. In 1981, the US, under Reagan even, sanctioned Israel through the U.N. over Israeli bombing of Iraqi nuclear facilities. Ron Paul was the only member of Congress who supported Israeli sovereignty, over the globalism of the U.N. Now the U.N. wants to artificially create an official state of "Palestine", which has never before existed. Obama, a U.N. shill, called for Israel to return to indefensible 1967 borders, which would be equivalent to Hitler annexing the Sudatenland, leaving it vulnerable to invasion. The US government has long given US tax payer dollars as "aid" to Israel, but gives 7x more in "aid" to Israel's enemies. Funding both sides of the conflict, to line-the-pockets of global MIC contractors, with US tax payer money. These globalists are not on Israel's side. Now Obama is backing the Muslim Brotherhood all over the ME, which states openly their goal is to eventually unite the region under Islam and wipe Israel off the map. Obama now (always) supports Al-CIAda, and wants to bomb Syria, the very thing that will kick off a regional war against Israel. It's clear to me, that the globalist elite are against the Zionist state, and only use it as a pawn, or a scapegoat, more accurately. You need to keep the scapegoat alive long enough, to be blamed for whatever it is you're scapegoating it for... i.e. WW3, societal collapse, and the NWO.

True Zionism, meaning belief Israel should exist, is the exact opposite of what the U.N. stands for...
Unless "Zionism" means using the Israeli people and their land to as the excuse to start WW3 and bring forth World Government.

As things continue to unfold it will be eventually become clear that the goal of the globalist elite is to destroy the nation of Israel, and certainly the USA, and usher in the New World Order.

Yes, the Globalist Elite uses Israel as their centerpiece for global conflict. Yes, they have power & influence in Israel, as they do everywhere.

We the People of the USA, and the People everywhere need to take control of our governments and demand they stop sending We the People to die in elitist wars, and we must demand that our governments make peace. Just stop hurting one another! Israel can exist alongside Muslim nations, if they just stop killing each other. We the People must rise up and take back control of our nations from these Satanic Globalist Elites!!!

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

You are on the button

with much of what you say, but the UN is playing all hands.

I agree with that.

The globalists who run the U.N. definitely have their factions in Israel as well.

maybe, maybe not. He is

maybe, maybe not. He is defending Gazprom's monopoly of supplying gas to Europe. Can't let those rag heads take his market share.

Putin asks the direct obvious

Putin asks the direct obvious question; If the evidence points to the rebels, will the US take action against them and stop supporting them?

I am against the war in

I am against the war in Syria, but I am also against Russia, China, and Iran.

Simply because I don't think war on Syria is right does not mean I support Russia, China, and Iran.

Just wanted to clarify that for all the government spooks reading this.

"You're either with us or against us."

I'm against both sides! Why? Because both sides are always controlled by the hidden hand.

I'm against the hand that is flushing America and all nation states down the historical toilet.

The invisible hand that controls most of the left and right is what I stand against the most.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Right on zooamerica... You are not being fooled

I hope the rest of DP and the Liberty Movement can wake up to what you understand. Trust no one, especially those in power.

Obama & Putin, & Obama and Chinese President meet together and have formed alliances on many other issues.

We share joint military exercises with Russia & China. Obama recently agreed to have Russian troops work as "security" at mass public events in America. China received 70% of GM motor-vehicle production, and are now buying up much of Detroit. China has a port on the west coast of California. Remember when Obama met with Medyedev and told him that he would "have more leeway after the (rigged) election" and to "tell Vladimir" as much? Remember Obama met secretly with Chinese president in Santa Monica not long ago, the same day as that shooting rampage? These guys are in-league together!

This is part of their NWO plan. Threaten WW3 to scare the populations into bringing forth World Government as the solution, or actually start WW3 and accomplish the same thing, by force.

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

I can't help myself, I love America and nobody else.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Putin seems reasonable, principled and astute.

he also does NOT seem to be using a teleprompter.

is Russia still a Republic? and if so, what is their Rule of Law based on?
to me... they seem to have learned their lessons well.
what has Russia done or Iran for that matter, that you are against?

They all have a script to

They all have a script to follow, some with a teleprompter, some without. Putin is KGB, and Iran is allied with the Russians.

They are all players in the big poker game, as John McCain showed. It's all a big joke to those on the inside. They are all sitting at the table, drinking whiskey or gin and playing us like pawns.

Nothing in politics happens by accident as FDR once said.

Nobody would be in positions of true power without the globalist agenda hands that feed them.

What has Russia and Iran done that I am against? That is like asking, "What has the United States done that you are against."

That would take about 12 pages to compose, but to keep it short and sweet let's just say they've all swallowed the same globalist pill, and they are all on the same team.

They're all equally guilty, some more than others, but guilty none the less.

It's not Team USA vs. Team Russia or Team China or Team Iran, as they've scripted it to be.

Just look at the US Civil War, World War 1 and 2. All sides of each conflict were funded by the same hands. The House that deals, "The Hand," can care less who wins or loses because they control both sides of the outcome.

As much as I can't stand John McCain, I think his actions spoke louder than words and his poker game playing in the midst of Senate hearings regarding war in Syria exemplified the entire situation.

The moral of the story?

Don't gamble.

Don't deal with the devil because once the cards are dealt, the game is in his hands, not yours.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Another excellent post.

I tip my hat to you sir...

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

eloquent response.

I also agree with your assessment.

but the fact that it is really all just one big clusterf*ck. denies the obvious.

you have to define your terms and the meaning of your words.
I have found that MOST people cannot do this very simple thing. my last post/thread tries to address this.

I got ZERO response from it. I have avoided self bumping it.

Fox News, the GOP and Granger are all polarizing distractions.

I quit wasting my time on all three sources of continual BS. You don't have to join the mafia to destroy their power.

I just knew I'd see one of grangers war mongering comments in here......

He's abetting Assad's genocide

for a UN Agenda

just sayin'...

Syria rebels vow to 'liberate Golan Heights' after Assad falls

In online video, Syrian rebels operating near Israeli border criticize Assad regime for not fighting Israel in recent decades • Israel: The ‘Somalization’ of Syria is a great concern • Red Cross told Israel: Syrian refugees refused aid from Jewish state.

Here's another one:
Syria's Assad finds an unlikely friend in Israel

And now, hedging his bets?

It remains to be seen whether Sunnis, funded by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, are to be better neighbors than the previous one of the last 40 years. Isn't Hamas Sunni?

Exactly, and Obama knows this...

This just goes to show that Obama is not pro-Israel, at all.

The guy is a commie and a Muslim.

This "crisis" puts an intriguing twist on the rumors regarding whom
allegedly paid for his Harvard education. If those rumors are true and
the Saudis don't get what they want in Syria, a Saudi-funded attack in
the U.S. would not be completely surprising, especially since they've
supposedly indirectly threatened Putin with the same.

Irony would be an Obama-Putin alliance to thwart the Saudis.
I wouldn't expect that, but it would certainly change the field.

So many of these stories

call the Jihadists rebels. They rebels liked Israel, America, western things like technology computers...the jihadists could care less about tech.. both want a change in government the rebels want more wesrtern influence, the jihadists want Islam.. and Assad is willing to give them Islam.

wow I'm beginning to feel a

I'm beginning to feel a bit sad for you.
You sound like you actually believe that Wahhabi funded Sunni mercenaries want democracy in a liberated Syria.
I have a very difficult time believing there will ever be a democracy, even if the Sunni rabbits win, but just to humor you, how long do you think it would take the newly founded Sunni democracy to VOTE to attack the Israeli rabbits across the border?
