John Kerry and Bloody Hands — C-SPAN screen captureSubmitted by persona on Wed, 09/04/2013 - 19:28
While John Kerry was answering questions today from the House Foreign Relations Committee, two people in the gallery behind him were holding up their hands which were smeared with red. I saw this as a noiseless protest that the people pushing for war with Syria had blood on their hands.
I wasn't able to capture it but at one point two protestors carrying signs saying "No War With Syria" entered the gallery, walked silently behind John Kerry, Chuck Hagel and General Dempsey and immediately exited without interference from anyone.
Of course, the joke is that nobody watches C-SPAN but the fact that these two protests proceeded without interference surprised me.
