LA caucus

Does anyone know the latest on the LA caucus? I haven't been able to get a straight answer. Are they still counting? Did he finish 3rd behind McCain and the pro life slate? And if in the primary no one gets 50% does Paul still get any delegates if he came in second or third? » |

My understanding is that they already disqualified 2/3 fo the provisional ballots as invalid. However, many reports from voters indicate that the register records the date the record entered the system rather than the date the application was submitted. The lag time between the 2 dates was often many weeks, therefore they may be falsely reported as not meeting the deadline when in fact they did. The paper registration would have to be pulled for each provisional voter to verify the application date.
If you go to LA GOP website
they've finished counting. I don't know which delegates are RP's though, so I don't know what to look for. If someone has the RP delegate list for each Congressional District maybe we could decipher this.

Good luck getting an answer before then during which time any momentum Dr. Paul can derive from this will be meaningless.
Anyone got the email to that Jason Dore guy. I say we bomb them with emails till we get an answer back.
I mean geez, it's just 500 provisional ballots. It would take one person a few hours to go through those names to verify that they are indeed registered. How hard can it be???

The RP people are stalling on providing their list as well.. lets wait and see :)
They claim to still be counting
and verifing the registrations of voters (or some kind of bs). They state it may take well past Feb 5 to have the count.
HQ has stated they believe they are holding back the possibility that we are #1.
