The "Principal Party", a concept whose time has arrived. Constitutional Intent and Article VSubmitted by Christopher A. Brown on Fri, 09/06/2013 - 14:00
There are a few proposals for Article V being discussed here and elsewhere. There are proposals for amendments being discussed in various places.
The best uses of proper interpretation of Article V appear here. Accordingly this is a post to integrate national political strategy for Article V into the peoples democratic activities.
All of the proposals for conventions neglect the prime mandate of Article V, plainly stated in the text.
"shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states,"
In my experience, Americans cannot discuss constitutional intent effectively. Big problem if a convention happens. Therefore, as a prime principal of the constitution, not only is "alter or abolish" the basis of Article V, it must be done properly so amendments have constitutional intent. The "Principal Party", necessarily stands for America being prepared to assure all amendments have constitutional intent.
The principal party forms at the very root of Americanism. Indeed, humanism through our social contract. The principals of the contract do this. The party does not need to be formally created, because it is supremely unconstitutional to NOT recognize the sacred principles of this Nation when expressed uniformly by a majority. Indeed, in a situation where a possible domestic enemy has gained dominance, it is unlikely such a party would be allowed to form in the environment of political parties dedicated to legislations that defy constitutional intent.
Creation of the majority is the challenge. Informing them of the principles which the party stands for is the challenge. IF, the principles are real, correct and at the foundation of their lives, they will agree and thereby unify around the sacred principles that secure their present and future.
Yes, sacred. Like your life is sacred to you and those that love you. Even those that do not know you may hold your life, your liberty and your pursuit of happiness as sacred. Logically also, because we all share ultimate appreciation for these things.
The "Principal Party" carries the prime principals, and uses the rights that protects them; alter and abolish, free speech, a faithful democracy, all reasonably within the protection of our lives and those of future generations. Standing for Article V, conducted by, states well controlled by American citizens that are prepared, and that preparation is a logical right. More is better when it comes to constitutional intent.
The "Principal Party" stands for three amendments dealing with three issues which control the people capacity to have their definition of intent be the one that makes amendments acceptable and properly conforming to the constitution. These issues must be addressed before Article V proceeds, and the process must have time to benefit from the amendments before a general convention resumes.
1)End the abridging of free speech
2)Campaign finance reform
3)Secure the vote
