France Backs Off Support for Syria Strike!

France flips on Syria - Russia, China rush Warships

September 6, 2013. St. Petersburg. Today at the G20 meeting in Russia, French President Francois Hollande dealt President Obama another embarrassing setback over Syria. Shocking his US ally, Hollande announced that France would not join the US in a military strike and would instead wait until the full UN report is made available. At the same time, Russia and China continue to swarm the Mediterranean Sea with warships in preparation for a war with the US.

The way things are shaping up, President Obama may want to stop asking America’s allies if they would join him in a war against Syria and instead quickly find out who’s willing to defend America against Russia and China. Nobody seems to know what Barack Obama is doing. But everyone can see what Russia and China are doing. They’re building up their military forces, including hundreds of thousands of troops, to fight the United States in World War 3.

America's favorite table game is poker, Russia's is chess,

China's is go. There are only a few hundred possible winning hands in poker, thousands of possible winning moves in chess, and a nearly infinitely higher number in go.

Now, just WHO do you think will come out on top?

That leaves

Fiji.

Nope....

sorry, as it turns out, Fiji is opposed to an attack on Syria as well. oBOMBa is the fool on the hill and he is all alone on this one.

Obama still has options

There's always the Maldives right?

If Obama has a shred of a

If Obama has a shred of a conscience he will back down, but at the same time he has his orders. If he goes rogue he will be assassinated and we'd be left with an even bigger puppet.

SteveMT's picture

With this French withdrawal, the U.S. is alone with this madness

Will Obama be forced to take a gulp of reality? Nah, don't think so. Three more years of this NWO puppet is an awfully long time. I don't think that he's going to make it, and if he does, we will not.

Nobody seems to know what

Nobody seems to know what Barack Obama is doing. But everyone can see what Russia and China are doing.

We might as well fight the Russia and China

Hi,

We might as well fight Russia and China now before they before even more powerful. The U.S. might have it's problems, but China and Russia need to be dealt with sooner or later, so we might as well deal with it now, while the U.S. is still strong. We might as well fight, so our kids and grand children don't have too. The intentions of Russia and China has always been clear, they want power and control. Before we fight though, we need a strong leader though and Obama is not it. We need to get our industry back up also. There is a lot of preparation to do.

"The intentions of Russia and

"The intentions of Russia and China has always been clear, they want power and control"

As opposed to the usa i suppose

They wont get it, because they'll face the same crap as the current "owners" of "power" are going through

you mess with liberty you mess with the people

We might as well go ahead and kill all the bird species on the now while we have the chemical weapons and poison to do it. Those birds are going to give us all some bird flu someday, they are just a ticking time bomb flying around our air space.

The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government ... are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it-Andrew Jackson

Not to mention

Some of them have made a mess of my car on several occasions.

Did they throw the virgin in the volcano yet?

.

Surely our fearless puppet will abandon his quest

to rain death and destruction on the Syrian people now that our mighty French allies have been afflicted with common sense.

Maybe Obama can cold call some of GWB's coalition of the willing to drum up support. I hear the the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Palau and the Solomon Islands are itching for a fight... despite not having standing armies.

What a concept, saving face doesn't trump stupidy over there

"... French government swore it had the evidence itself proving the Assad government used chemical weapons. Now, President Hollande has shelved that position in lieu of the anticipated UN inspectors report. “Yes, we will wait for the inspectors’ report,” he told reporters at the G20 Summit."

Honestly, BO could save face

Honestly, BO could save face by simply abiding by the vote of congress. He could say something like, "the American people have spoken and do not authorize this strike... As executive I don't have the authority...and I took this office to uphold the constitution..." or something like this

Yes, there would be a backlash from neocons and republicans who would capitalize on the "weak" and "wimp" card for political reasons, but avid Constitutionalists and libertarians would have to support this and point out that the President is doing the right thing here.

The only negative I see is it would setback any real reform because it would propagate the illusion that we are indeed a Constitutional Republic, when in reality the dictator is backed into a corner and this is the only possible move he can make.

Yea he could pull back...

but then he just may get JFK'd.

we the french people

surrender.

That's just wrong.

But funny as hell.

Well, there goes our only ally in this silly war

French President Francois Hollande "We, the French people will stand behind you Mr President..........way, way behind you!
