Dr. Jeffrey Sachs BLASTS Morning Joe Out of the Water!

Says that Assad could not be blamed for this 100,000 death figure because the US govt has been arming insurgents like Al Nusra and Al Qaeda and so the US govt shared in the responsibility of the huge death toll.
Morning Joe crew went apoplectic. :)

And liberals think Fox News is bad. My gosh!

(not that FN is good of course)

Thank you for that, Sachs.

I like people who are left-wing, right-wing, center "wing" lol

But for any MSNBC defending apologists who yap about "MSNBC is the channel of truth blah blah blah blah blah," that Robert Gibbs guy discredited that entire assertion. What purposely stupid idiocy.

I know it's sophomoric to say

I know it's sophomoric to say but MSNBC should do the spilt screen where Sachs is transposed on Robert Gibs big F*(King forehead. With that said, "set aside" = I don't want to talk about it.

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

Gibbs douche bag extraordinaire

Sachs , oh a keynes economist speaks the truth for once... WOW
he will no longer be invited on msnbc programming
good for him maybe alex jones will interview him.

Sachs is 100 percent correct but not on the 1-1/2 part more like 3 years or more they have been acting out against syria

robert gibbs = establishment gatekeeper mouthpiece wannabee

robert gibbs "look, we should set this aside" (to change the subject from so he does not have to face reality)

gibbs is a pile of shit

I wonder how Sachs liked being thrown into...

the "truther", "birther'", conspiracy theorist...listens to the Dixie Chicks bin...by his now erstwhile "buddies".

Bet he gets fired from somewhere very soon..."Sorry Jeff" ya done f*cked up son! I cain't help ya nayow...maybe ya'll should take a long vacation..and member son...don't bite no women on the back fer a while and maybe we kin git ya anuther job on the TeeVee...

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

Blasts them out of the water? Hell, dude what you just saw was akin to a hockey stick jammed into spokes and quickly withdrawn...a couple of spokes bent...but the bike kept rollin...

Sachs is a UN, sustainable development, Agenda 21 douchebag who just got himself quickly thrown under the bus for slipping and talking reality.

Ain't it grand when periodic idiocy (or truth raging to escape its cage) has the narrative tripping over it own skirt only to teeter and expose its fresh shaved nether regions...albeit momentarily.

Anyway, Morning Joe will NEVER "return to this" purposefully...

and Sachs will STFU immediately...just you watch...

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

Its great that Sachs put the obama stoog in his place however

sachs is still a SACH of you know what. He;s just another statist and thinks just because we don't want the corrupt government taking care of our every needs that we must hate poor people. Wonder how many people he's directly taken off the street.....He just wants his darling leaders to do it for him. Another talker, not a doer. he can suck it.

Word up...

fer sure..

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

Everyone should know by now

Everyone should know by now the US, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar has been funding training and aiding with logistics the mercenary rebels in the killing fields of Syria. Not all 100k deaths in Syria are at the hands of Assad. A large portion are at the hands of US supported Al-Qaeda mercenaries. This is not rocket science.

I agree. And I think a few willing to go out on the fringe

are starting to piece Benghazi Gate in with it too.

It's sickening, but interesting to observe...

...these presstitues either feigning their indignation that their god of state could actually be fallible, or they are genuinely amazed that someone really thinks their own government has some culpability in the deaths of 100,000+ human beings.

It's twisted either way.

But it sure appears that these authoritarian pundits sincerely marvel and bristle at anybody who dares attack the god they worship, which is the state.

It's important to identify what's going on here. Their FAITH in their god is being attacked, and they can't allow that to happen. So they ridicule, mock and attack, albeit w/o logic anybody who challenges their worldview.

You frequently see Bill O'Reilly, with his trademark smirk, "You don't trust what our government is telling us." Or, "You think Obama is lying?" Or, "You really believe Assad over our own government?"

That's the card they play, the "trust" card. What they do is associate criminals in high places in our gov't with the good name and reputation of the millions of Christian and otherwise good people in America.

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

that was great he explained

that was great

he explained in plain and simple terms with clear facts, and because the Morning Joe talking point person didn't want such facts stated... he allowed the guest to say it 3 times.

3 times so everyone at home can clearly understand. fantastic!

That guy knows EXACTLY what

That guy knows EXACTLY what he was saying, and WE, know EXACTLY what he was doing......i hope one day to see, everyone seing the likes of him for what they trully are......enablers

REALITY CHECK: in 2009 Assad

REALITY CHECK: in 2009 Assad rejected a deal with the US and Saudi Arabia to build a oil pipeline through Syria. Assad instead made the deal with Iran and Russia.

The US then sent the CIA to train and FUND rebels in Turkey and Jordan to go start a "civil war" in Syria.

Didn't go well, so now Obama wants to escalade it to start bombing them to get rid of Assad. Just google CIA and Syria.

If you noticed, Gibbs didn't any anything, he just kept diverting the questions back to something Sachs didn't say. And YES the US did take part in killing of the 1000s of people by arming the insurgents..

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

just google it , how bout you dont use startpage

what if i told you google inc is apart of intel groups hoping to subver the syrian and iranian governments

I posted a couple times on DP reagrding the gas pipelines

Either no one noticed or they thought it wasn't very important.
There are several gas pipelines in the planning stages and there are several major gas fields that could be so huge as to be a game changer in world energy consumption. One newly discovered field is the Leviathan off shore field Israel has. Enter the new technology of fracking and the potential natural gas production (6,000 trillions of cubic feet)could far out strip oil as the preferred energy source.

How could cheap clean abundant natural gas effect oil prices and the petrodollar?

its all about

Federal Reserve Notes, and I find it odd the charter is up this year on the Federal Reserve, does anyone know the day in which it expires?

And there it is....

The Iran-Iraq-Syria pipeline plan was a "direct slap in the face" to Qatar's plans. No wonder Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan, in a failed attempt to bribe Russia to switch sides, told President Vladmir Putin that "whatever regime comes after" Assad, it will be "completely" in Saudi Arabia's hands and will "not sign any agreement allowing any Gulf country to transport its gas across Syria to Europe and compete with Russian gas exports", according to diplomatic sources. When Putin refused, the Prince vowed military action.

"It’s not pessimistic, brother, because this is the blues. We are blues people. The blues aren’t pessimistic. We’re prisoners of hope but we tell the truth and the truth is dark. That’s different." ~CW

It's no longer about oil, it's natural gas now

"not sign any agreement allowing any Gulf country to transport its gas across Syria to Europe and compete with Russian gas exports"

Interesting proposal, offering Russia a "non compete", however as the Russian alliance with Syria together could out compete the other gulf countries and have a near monopoly control on gas supply piped to Europe. Russia has control of the lions share of Natural gas now, add in the Iranian gas fields, the largest in the world and controlling the pipeline that moves it? That puts Russia in the cat birds seat as to energy supply to Europe.

As Europe switches to clean, cheap natural gas, most electrical generation, factories, and even transportation will become dependent on it. One guy in the Kremlin could shut it down with a phone call.

Jeffrey Sachs on Libertarianism:

Libertarians hold that individual liberty should never be sacrificed in the pursuit of other values or causes. Compassion, justice, civic responsibility, honesty, decency, humility, respect, and even survival of the poor, weak, and vulnerable - all are to take a back seat.

None, of those values are mutually exclusive to

the value of liberty. Liberty doesn't need to be sacrified for all the other values he listed! That's a nice thing about.

Further, Sachs believes in the principle of the initiation of violence.

True, I suppose.

I guess the important thing is exposing the likes of Gibbs.
