There is a simmering hostility that we need to be aware of.Submitted by ecorob on Mon, 09/09/2013 - 12:51
I have been hesitant to mention this or bring it up before but I feel we all need to be made aware of what is happening, as my limited interpretation of current events goes.
I chalked it all up to just a casual "non-exchange" of greetings before when I encountered people "of color", as many blacks like to refer to themselves, and they brushed me off, looked askance at my regards, or intentionally looked past me in their vision and travel.
No biggee, I get it. I just never "sensed" it as being this bad, this angry, before.
Its just that I sense a deeper anger in people "of color" these days, in general.
I sense a simmering hostility in many young blacks today that will explode with very little confrontation and it will all be with a sense of justification. "Remember Trayvon Marin?", they will say.
Allahu akbar, right?
I'm watching my butt, guys.
We KNOW that there are elements that promote race fighting so why should we be surprised that this is (if it is) happening?
