Syria - Was it planned for us to easily defeat Obama politically?

With all of the talk about Syria over the last few weeks, and what seems to be at the moment an apparent victory from those of us that do not believe in endless wars, my hypothetical question is, was it planned this way?

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy having this movement gaining ground, people waking up to the tyranny that surrounds them and having meaningful debate about the use of the military and war. I am an Air Force veteran and most of the people I was stationed with were Ron Paul supporters. We, for the most part, have the same constitutional views for the use of the military.

What bothers me right now is that this victory seems to have been easily won. We all have fought long, hard battles in the political process, with legislation and waking people up. What made this issue so much different? Did the American people wake up? Based on history and what I see online and offline I doubt it.

This time around, world leaders rejected America and its use of military force in violating national sovereignty. Neo-conservative talking heads got behind being against military action in Syria? Why? Why did the talking heads get behind what we were pushing? Could this fight against military action in Syria have been won without the talking heads and many in the media and Hollywood turning on Obama? I doubt it. I have a pretty good idea of the strength of our numbers nationwide. While people are waking up, I don’t see corresponding areas where people are waking up. This seems to be a very isolated issue. A victory…probably yes, but isolated.

With the governments control of nearly all areas of the media except the alternative news sources, I can’t help to think that if the military, members of congress and the media are turning on Obama…and what looks like turning on big government, something is up. Are being played for fools? I am not exactly sure. However, I cannot see how with all of the government control over these groups that they would be allowed to turn unless it was planned.

The question then becomes, what is their plan? Why make Obama, Biden and Kerry look like utter fools to their supporters and allies? We know they are sociopaths, liars and idiots but their supporters see them quite differently. Is this part of a plan to further create an atmosphere that is ripe for the poor to riot? Is the plan to alienate the US from the rest of the world so that oil gets decoupled from the dollar and our economy collapses overnight? Is this part of a plan for the US to not be taken seriously and give regional hegemons greater influence over world affairs?

I don’t want to belittle any victory that we might have. I do want us to keep an open mind as to what is happening behind the curtain. Nothing is ever as it seems. A seemingly easy victory may not be a victory at all but rather putting us into a position where we are assisting the enemy with their goals.

Before this article gets attacked I want to be clear. I am against war in Syria. No war is a victory for us. Obama, Biden, and Kerry looking like fools and exposing them as the liars they are is also a victory for us. Getting people to start understanding that government is not the answer is another victory for us. My point though is Brzezinski has already admitted it is becoming hard for them to do what they want because of the internet, such as attacking Syria. Since this is the case, it is highly plausible that they will try to give us victories, deceiving us into thinking we are gaining ground, so that they can maintain control of what we are spending our time on fighting, where we have victories, whom we align with and ultimately maintain control of the conversation by framing it in their terms and still discrediting us for trying to expose what the mainstream media won’t touch.

We haven't won the victory yet. It looks like we might, however Obama is set on doing what he wants without the Constitution. Congress could either not vote or vote no and he still decide to do it against the will of the American people. I can't believe any politician is that stupid, since they all make decisions out of fear. Any issue such as this that gets this much support against it is easily taken off the table. We still have work to do and must remain vigilant to what their real motives are.

Is there anything that we can learn from these victories that will help us in the future? Does the DP community think I am off base here or should we be asking why the potential easy victory?

Win for Obama?

"Why make Obama, Biden and Kerry look like utter fools to their supporters and allies?"

Not sure that is the way this will play out.

Perhaps the spin will be that the administration's threat of force is what secured the peace. That would be hard for the Hawks to argue against and the anti-war / Pro-constitution folks can't really come down too hard on Obama because in the end he did not order an attack and he did not act without the authority of Congress.

Looks like a Win Win for Obama and just a Win for us. :)

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world.

Something fishy about this post. First, it is very demoralizing to post on a site where members have fought tooth and nail to advance a non interventionist foreign policy. Of course you can just be glass half empty kind of person and not intentionally pissing on our collective relief that common sense and we the people might have prevailed. Second, as a rule always beware of the passive aggressive post presented as a question that plant seeds of doubt. Three, "don't get me wrong I want_______just as much as the rest of". ....and of course breaking a pattern of almost 3 years of inactivity to post unsubstantiated negative speculation. I smell a troll.

Great post

I was thinking the same thing.... very good points. Obama is just a finger puppet, and so are the rest... the bankers will just create some other "crisis" to get us all fighting again.

Congres rules

Thanks to the congress both Senate and especially the House for delaying the president from taking immediate action. Had nothing been said by the likes of Rand Paul and others, then Syria would have already been bombed.

I wish I had a bumber sticker stating "Congress Rules" or the "House Rules".

You mean to say, "congress

You mean to say, "congress finally doing their jobs." Excluding a select few who've been doing them all along.

I love www.isidewith.com shared it with everyone I know. If anything they realize its not just a red and blue idiot running for reelection.

A few words of encouragement never hurts.

What ever, just trying to bring them over to our side.

In a war there are many battles.....

Victory in one battle is cause for celebration and builds moral in the tiring ranks.....but it's just one battle.

The enemy is far from defeated, and any good general will call their commanders to the table to rethink strategies after a loss....which we should also do with even a minor victory.

Peoples eyes and minds are opening, and if we are smart we will advance on this win, but with a certain amount of caution of course being mindful of the abilities of our enemy, and never under estimating his resolve or willingness to "do what it takes" to win.

They have the media, the weapons, and sympathizers in high places and among our ranks. We know what they are capable of, and the lengths to which they will go, but to not advance on the heels of any victory, large or small, will turn that victory into defeat.

It is said that the human interest is short lived and hard to hold.

Advancing the cause while interest is in our favor is not an option, it is a MUST!

My observation and thinking

I think indeed that this was an "easy" victory for people against the war. Usually they just go ahead and do what they planned to do regardless of popular opinion. I clearly remembered in 2008, how the they rammed the bail out bill through Congress even though the bill got defeated the first time.

However, this victory may not be planned. It maybe that the people in control became too proud and too cocky and underestimated the reactions to their plan. But I think it is not our popular opinion, but rather the reactions from Russia. Prior to Syria, Russia hardly offered any real substantial resistance to US/Western advances in the Middle East. However, the rhetoric and the actual navy deployment are totally on a different level this time coming from the Russians.

Or perhaps the Western power elite are testing the "red line" of Russians, to see how far they can go.

Whatever the real reason is, I still think one of these days, the US will get too close to Russia, crossing Russian's "red line" and would suffer the consequence.

The grand strategy in the end is to weaken the US and create conflict, and out of the conflict, comes the Order, the New World Order. That is always their end goals.

Wha's Happ'nin?"

We have a very simple rule about politicians and journalists at our house: If their lips are moving, they're lying.

Like j_texan we are the ultimate skeptics here. Some time after I had discovered conspiracy theories many years ago I was told by my Libertarian friends to not give credence to such nonsense as it was ludicrous and I would be ridiculed by the media if I brought it up during a campaign I was running for a state office.

That was then and recently I discovered The Daily Bell which confirmed the NWO "conspiracy" and provided the information about the "conspirators" I needed to understand it. I believe that before the internet, conspiracy theories about the NWO were ridiculed to hide its reality. And now after learning that a certain banking family has influence in practically every central bank on the planet I can believe that, as Judge Napolitano hinted in his famous getting fired speech, I can believe that everything is planned in U.S. politics, even the gaffes.

Everything U Know is a Lie!!!
Good place to start any rational thought!?

whose plan?

Dr evil?

Domestically, they are absent

Domestically, they are absent of 'the big lie'. The little white-ish lie of Assad 'cheming his own people' didn't work. With 90% of the public against it and elections next year Congress can't follow. I think that was the intent of the foiled Dyess Nuke plan. That 'big lie' would've gotten the public squarely where the psychopaths needed them. AJ and co. so far has saved us from that scenario.

Geo-politically, don't forget this is a war against Russia and China for World domination. Syria, then Iran are are just battles. Europe needs the new gas finds from the ME and Russia because they signed emission treaties and gas has a drastically smaller carbon footprint than coal or oil. That makes them soft for Russian interests and the Iran/Iraq/Syrian proposed gas line that many ME factions are fighting about.

I truly believe the psychopaths are in deep doo doo. This is fantastic in one way but scary as hell to think of them backed in a corner. They have finally lost the 'moral high ground' game they have been playing and it tickles me pink.

Americans are fucked anyway with a de-industrialized country; fat, lazy, and entitled inhabitants; controlled by psychopaths that only care about World domination, war, and depopulation; and a currency on the brink. So I am just cheering for the least amount of bloodshed. The psychopaths greedily gutted out their peoples industrial base so they have no choice but to continue their failing World domination plan. Scary indeed.

One possible scenario

I wrote about in another seems to have a statistically increasing possibility with the latest converging intel.

The most powerful Law of Nature is Time. It is finite and we all will run out of it. Use this Law to your advantage, for it offers you infinite possibilities...

Your scenario looking more credible by the day...

and it's been stuck in my head since you first presented it.

It fits the MO of how "they" seem to think and plan.
You may be on to something, here.

Defeating Obama politically

Is pretty easy when he is bucking his own advisers.

Remember Bush & Obama are not the ones who created or are attempting to implement 'invading 7 countries in 5 years' as Gen. Wesley Clark put it.

Whatever is trying to pull the strings doesn't have complete control. Bush balked at Iran and evidently Obama is not keen on Syria.

Current public opinion is a death knell for the neocon plan at this date.

...this is just a warm-up to test where the People are at, as far as being weary from Iraq and Afghanistan. My concern is that, given the public resistance, this may just end up being a calibrating prelude to a false-flag attack that dwarfs the story about chemical weapons, in order to jolt the People into rallying behind the flag in an all-out regional war against both Iran and Syria.

Politics has become like the Financial Derivitives market.

It's a house of cards. There is NO foundation under Global Government other than confusion by deception. A confidence game.

The battle won wasn't political, it was exposure to the deception.

And the movement for truth and peace went forward for the first time in a very long time.

This isn't about THEM, this is about US that have supported THEM in the past out of ignorance.

Middle East cultures haven't survived because they were fooled. They didn't survive by killing everything in their path to dominate. They survived by the Golden Rule and have defended their culture.

America will do the same or die. We have a history of a wonderful beginning.

Never underestimate them...

These are good things to always keep in mind. I'm sorry, but the elite in power did not get there by being stupid; they are exceedingly crafty and deviously cunning. Anyone who underestimates them is doomed to be defeated by them.

Anyone saying they are all just a bunch of half-wits, and control of almost the whole globe just happened to fortuitously fall into their incompetent laps; is in error, and will be easy for them to overcome.

Now I'm not saying this is all planned. But always question and never assume everything is as it seems.

I say take the win and celebrate it as that, but still keep those eyes open. I have been watching the liberty movement in the states only for the last year and a half and I think it's time that everyone involved pats themselves on the back and take this for what it is! this is possibly a turning point in history, the Great American Empire has mistepped and found resistance. This was just a battle in a larger war though. It is my job in Australia to also hold my government accountable and that is true of every country in the world.

“The final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands.”

They're not that smart.

They're not that smart. They're just going with the overwhelming flow of the peoples will and the retribution that will occur if they don't. Believe me, the puppet masters heads are exploding as I type.

This peoples one first victory should embolden the American people for future victories.

I've been wondering the same

I've been wondering the same thing. Sorta bizarre things going on.

Your scenario

is certainly possible but I think you give too much creditto obomba and his hinchmen.

I think that these guys advising Obomba are just not that smart. His handling of all these issues...Syria, the IRS, Benghazi etc, are political blunders.

Obomba should have fired his political advisors long ago. Clinton did it and survived.

Problem is, Syria is not a domestic political blunder, it is being played out on the world stage. As political blunders go this is a 10 on a 10 scale.

I believe Obomba'a kosher war is going to be rejected, and he will be a politicaly dead lame duck.

It is hard to tell at this point

but reading your piece, I have thought many of the same things. The New World Order requires us to give up our nationalism, and it seems like this is one way to do it. On the religious side of it, this could be used to promote world peace and a one world religion, by uniting Muslims with Christians and all religions under one God. Then you could get the Antichrist scenario. It is hard to tell which way is up and which way is down these days. In the end this could also possibly be to get the whole world after America and they all attack the USA, so with that said, it is very hard to tell. I am one who believes in God, so I tend to look at it politically and from a religious viewpoint and prophecy.
