Everyone has a 'man-crush' on Russell Brand...

Abstinence based recovery

Abstinence based recovery seems to be the ticket.

No prosecution of addicts is a good solution.

Give recovery treatment where recovery treatment is available.

I spent thirty days in rehab for alcohol addiction, and am having a drink right now as I type.

Russel Brand seems to me a typical younger man unleashed after being freed of addiction. The clarity of thought from a person like him is valid. You would have been better off if he had stayed on drugs. Unfortunately for you, it makes sense to change your approach after hearing the better approach from the horses mouth.

This interview hearing is a good start to deal with the various levels of additions. In my case it's a mild form currently. I'm still able to type coherently, at least I think.

Let's not approach this issue thinking we know everything. Let the free market of ideas sort it out. New better treatments will arise if we let the free market come up with solutions, for once.
