Are you for the Muslim march or the bikers? Quick poll

I am wondering where people on Daily Paul stand.

"are you a patriot or

"are you a patriot or not?"

Are you sure you are at the right place?

the most patriotic people...

are conspiracist anarchists.

And we welcome you to join us.

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?

We should have organized a 3

We should have organized a 3 million Liberty March. That would have made for a sight. 6 million people marching in DC.

I am for

Neither.

I support the rights of both groups to protest peacefully.

At the same time I recognise the futility of both efforts. The morning after the protests nothing will have changed because of the protests.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

I wonder.....

What if the Sons Of Liberty had thought as you do?

It is our POTUS who is the divisive one in this country!

If we are to honor our founding principles, the right of assembly and freedom of speech is the right of the individual, no matter to what group, religion, race, color or creed they align themselves.

I support both, and can only hope it becomes a 3,000,000 person march against injustice in the capital of corruption!

trying to get a sense of where the libertarian movement is

on this issue. And wanting to build a conservative populist coalition that can beat back the Progressives. 911 truth and denial concerning the radical Muslim scourge pushes people away from liberty that otherwise might be inclined toward our values.

Yes, they are defending their homeland from western imperialism, but they are also religious lunatics!

Conservatives are moving in our direction. I want to keep them coming our way. Good Democrats are coming our way. I want to see that continue too.

It concerns me that just as the liberty movement is starting to reach mainstream status, people are agitating for all sorts of ideas that are outside of Overton's window. We will quickly lose whatever progress we have made. I hear a lot of people saying, See NSA I told you, and this too, and this too. Before long, people will be spouting all sorts of nonsense and making the movement look ridiculous. We need to monitor our hubris and rein in the conspiratorial excesses).

Muslim March

I support the Muslim March. Their people have born the brunt of U.S. terrorism around the world prior to and since 9-11, and they are usually the first targeted for civil liberties violations by our fascist government and their allies. I may be stereotyping, but a lot of bikers I know are the "bomb all Muslims/American exceptionalist" types who swallow the war propaganda and fearmongering from both Republicans and Democrats the easiest and hardest.

It seems to me.....

that your assumptions are part of a problem and not a solution.

How much time do you actually spend within any given biker community?

Many are Vets, pro America, but free thinkers with freedom and a desire to not be F'd with as their motto.

There are always fringe groups, but I feel you are mistaken as to who holds the majority.

I am a veterans' disability

I am a veterans' disability attorney, and I spend a good bit of time with biker groups and/or biker vets, and I cringe at the various forms of jingoism espoused by many at the events in which I have participated. You are correct though, there are many bikers who have a strong libertarian impulse, as the roots of the biker movement stem from various anti-statist and free-thinking philosophies. From my experience, it just seems like the louder pro-war voices stand out, or at least those in charge of some of the veterans groups I assist tend to be less libertarian. I support the right of all people to protest, ride, march or whatever, I just have more sympathy for those Muslim marchers, because to me America's post-9/11 foreign and domestic security policy has impacted them more than anyone.

^I agree

There are many bikers with a strong libertarian streak, but the majority of them are just as asleep as the rest of the populace.

pretty clear

The Muslim marchers are marching to challenge the government's 911 narrative. They apparently believe the Jews did it.

From Huff PO:

"The event, first announced in January, is being organized by the American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC), a fringe group led by M.D. Rabbi Alam, a professed 9/11 truther who has pushed controversial anti-Semitic conspiracy theories about the attacks. Last year, he made a failed bid for Missouri’s secretary of state, and his group has been doing little besides trying to attract national attention ever since."

The motorcycle gang believes the 911 story and is marching in support of the Constitution, our armed forces, and to remember the 911 victims.

Those of us who understand

Those of us who understand that Israel played a decisive role in 9/11 do not blame "the Jews." I would hope that you would not blame "the Muslims."

Anyone who has the courage to focus on Israel's role in 9/11 will of course be accused of "anti-Semitism." It is, in the words of a progressive Israeli who appeared on Democracy Now, "a trick," designed to squelch truth telling about Israel.

Please take your disgusting anti Muslim bigotry somewhere else.

Can I support Muslim bikers?

;)

Why can't I support both/neither?

you cannot support both

because they are diametrically opposed to each other.
